These work extremely well to trickle charge your cameras and basically prevent you from having to manually charge the batteries. Of course that's provided you have decent sun exposure, but that's my experience here in CT. I have 6 or 7 exterior cameras that thanks to these panels I no longer have to go out and swap batteries.

Absolutely a must for outdoor ring cameras! Our battery was down to 3% in just a few days of purchasing, shutting off many features. We decided to purchase this solar plug in and see if it would actually work and recharge our battery. By day 2, our battery is at 64% and weâre able enjoy all features available including recording all movement day and night. Canât go wrong with this price! The solar panel is quite big compared to most plug in solars, approximately measuring 8â x 5â. The only downfall to being so large, itâs not as easy to hide. If youâre wanting it to be hidden, it wouldnât be with this solar panel because the plug in length doesnât give enough leeway to place anywhere but near the camera. We have ours placed above the camera. If that doesnât bother you, then this is a must have! We were worried it wouldnât work right because the plug-in didnât feel like it went all the way in, however, it has worked perfectly and done its job in charging our battery for the ring camera! The solar panel is an easy plug-in and pull-out so you could disconnect the solar whenever needed and it should have your battery charged enough that it will still function with all features until you plug the solar in again. We mounted our solar panel though and leave it plugged in. I provided a picture of our battery health to show the solar and the charge after just 2 days (with little sun due to non stop storms)

Would not recommend. I purchased the first solar charger on 11/15/24, and it stopped charging my outdoor Ring camera within a month. I ordered a replacement on 12/20/24, but unfortunately, both the original and the replacement stopped working by March 2025. Although the Ring app shows a solar device is connected, neither panel actually charges the cameras. Both units are installed in bright, sunny spots facing east, so placement isnât the issue. I reached out to the seller but never received a response. In contrast, I have a Ring-branded solar charger thatâs older, in a less sunny locationâand itâs still working perfectly. Iâll be replacing these with the OEM Ring solar charger moving forward and suggest others do the same.

Did not want to connect properly at first. Worked as a "wired connection" but the cameras didn't see it as a solar panel. Reset my cameras to factory settings and they both did some kind of update and the solar panels work. I'm going to assume this was a Ring issue and not the panels themselves. Definitely a good value as you can get 2 of these for the price of 1 ring brand panel. The quality seems good enough, plastic mount, plastic frame, hoping they last a few years. I can't say how effectively they charge the cameras as I've only had them working properly for a few hours now and both cameras had full batteries.

The seller is âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸ to deal with. I previously bought a 3-pack and I had an issue installing one of the three panels. The seller quickly sent a replacement. I bought a different brand previously and I had such a horrible time with getting them to work. Climbing up and down the ladder to get them connected to all my varied Ring cameras. These solar panels made it so easy! Like a cool breeze. They come with mounts and everything that you to install them. I highly recommend these solar panels.

Arrived quickly in good condition. Got a little worried at first because the connecting end wasn't the right one...then I saw the adapter. Does what it's supposed to. Seems to be made well. Charged my camera quickly. Great price.
