My partner and I absolutely LOVE this king sized mattress! It is vacuumed packed and in a box when received and has an outer layer of plastic that encloses the vacuumed packed mattress. As other review said, open mattress on top of platform frame because it is heavy. It fluffed up in a few hours but it did have a smell to it so we followed the instructions and left it untouched for 72 hours. As others have said, it is firm! And we love it! No more back aches! No more side-sleeping him aches! Not as cuddly when sleeping on the back as a softer mattress, but a topper will easily fix that! When looking at mattresses at a physical store previously, the sales person told us that if the memory foam mattress is too firm then you want to walk all over it until it softens up! We are not going to do this because we like the firmness but if you find yourself feeling like it is too firm, this solution makes sense to me because the memory foam does break down. Another thing I appreciate about the mattress is that the outer cover fits the mattress without the sewn creases in the wrong place. It looks perfect. As for the coolness factor... I don't think any mattress out there is cool enough for me. It does seem cooler than my previous mattress which was a hybrid, so maybe this one is cool. RECOMMEND!

This was the first time I've ordered a mattress in a box. I usually get them from a store where I can see/feel them, but an expensive mattress and box spring wasn't in my budget right now. The mattress arrived on time, was well packaged, and was easy to get in place. It's not too heavy, just bulky and awkward to maneuver. I'm 5'3" and 65 yrs old and got it inside and upstairs by myself. There was no smell, and it reached the full height in about 36 hours. I was worried that it might be too soft, but the mattress is really comfortable. It has just the right amount of firmness that I don't have pressure points on my hips and shoulders like my old gel foam mattress, which makes for pain free mornings. I can't speak to the cooling layer, as it has been very cold at night here, but it doesn't seem to be as warm as my old mattress. The fit is perfect for my full size platform bed and it doesn't move around. I would definitely purchase this mattress again.

This mattress is very comfortable, with a firm base and soft top. It feels soft and squishy to the hands when pressing down on it, yet is surprisingly firm when sitting or lying on it; very supportive while being comfy. I sleep longer and more deeply on this mattress than I did on my expensive coil type of mattress. I've detected no odor from this mattress. I knocked off a star due to the non-uniformity of the height. It is 10" high only in the center areas of each side, becoming a bit shorter near the corners; and only 8" high at the corners. I suspect that this is due to the ends of the mattress having been much more compressed/flattened so that they don't recover the original height. With a comforter or quilt on it this size discrepancy is not noticeable

This is an excellent mattress for the price and for all the good qualities that come with this mattress. For the last 20 years I have slept on tempur-pedic mattresses. My last tempur-pedic mattress was like sleeping on heaven. It was very comfortable for me. When it was time to purchase a new mattress I thought I would try this one from Gaeste. Unlike the horrible smell a new tempur-pedic has this one barely had any smell to it. I was not able to just let the mattress lay out for 3 days like recommended by the Gaeste Company while it took on its full shape. I had nowhere to lay it out and I had no other mattress to sleep on so I did sleep on this mattress the first night and it was hard as rock. I thought what did I get myself into? The second night it got better and by the third night it was like sleeping on my tempur-pedic. You can barely tell the difference. The price that you would pay for a new tempur-pedic is close to 5 thousand dollars or more. I highly recommend this mattress. I purchased a 10" Queen size. Thank you Gaeste mattresses!

Amazing how a whole mattress can be squeezed into a box. Packaging was great. Unpacking was fairly straightforward. There is no awkward smell. It says mattress takes up to 72 hours to fully expand and it’s already looking great. Thickness is just right. Fabric quality is superb. It is very comfortable to sleep on.

I was so scared and skeptical at first when researching. But this bed is amazing!! It’s the perfect full size and it’s not too firm or too soft. It’s just enough firm more than fluffy soft.
