Easy to use and comfortably effective as advertised.

I use these buddy splints occasionally when my fingers hurt from over-extending, and they work well enough for my case. Though they feel pretty well-made, I don’t personally need to use them very often, so I can’t say how well they’d hold up with constant use. They’re pretty soft and somewhat stretchy, which makes them comfortable to wear. The only thing that I found a little bit uncomfortable was the hook and loop piece on the end, which is a more firm plastic material- I wish this piece was also fabric so it would be more comfortable, but it’s not really a big deal for me. Overall, I think these are pretty good for the price and they do what they claim, but if you can find ones that are fully fabric, I’d go with those instead.

I rate 3 stars because of the velcro strength. I puchased the straps because I needed more than the doctor sent home with me to use. While the velcro strength is nice because it stays put, but it is extremely painful to undo (unlike the straps I have from the doctor). These are generally used for stabilizing injuries and that was not taken into consideration in the design of this product.

These are comfortable and the hook and loop fastens securely. They have not stretched out of shape and the hook and loop fastener still holds after several weeks of use.

Sadly, this doesn't work without slipping off because my mom needs her pinky attached to her ring finger toward the tip rather than toward the hand.

I was really happy to find these. When I hurt my finger, the best thing I found to help with stability, was the Velcro strap that come with a CPAP Mask, but I only had one and it wore out. I tired many others types of splints, but they were never quite right and the metal splint bits hurt my hand. These are just perfect and exactly what I needed. I would buy these again.

Depending on what you want these for, you may or may not love them. I got them to wrangle a wayward toe, and I found them to be too skinny to hold my toe in place, wrapped up with another toe to stabilize it. Basically, the wrap slid around a lot, slicing into skin, and the abrasion was uncomfortable. I got a bunch of wider ones that work much better for me and sty in place. I also find athletic tape to be better, just because it allows no movement. If you are using these for fingers, they will probably be fine. I think everyone just has to experiment to find what works best. I'm tossing these into my first aid kit to use on jammed fingers.

Thin size was good. And skin tone. I had to use thin tape on top because of how my gimpy finger is.
