We have used rubber hoses for the past 34 years, some connected over 100 feet, to water plants all over our lawn and garden. They were "kink resistant" and "mildew resistant" and <whatever empty promises> the garden center(s) offered. Eventually they developed weak spots that kinked, ballooned, and even burst. Moreover, they easily became filthy with dirt and mildew, requiring a wipe-down with a mixture of concentrated bleach and detergent. When we moved here, I discovered the stainless steel hose while searching through Amazon. Over the past 9 months of warm weather usage, it has been amazingly free of any kinks, easily coiling in a circle to hang on our hose rack. Even more wonderful, the mildew-proof, stainless steel did not require any cleaning after we drug it through dirt and over our driveway. If we only had this three decades ago, we would have saved a lot of money! With a thin wall construction, it is very light, so obviously, you cannot run over it with your car! I accidentally let a heavy bar fall over it, which left it with a constricted dent. I wrapped it in cloth and used some long-handled pliers to gently squeeze it almost completely open. It never leaked, and it was fine for the rest of the Summer! We are so happy with it that we purchased another to go with the first one! It is an excellent investment.

This is a great hose! It’s very lightweight, super flexible, easy to coil up and never kinks! I liked it so much that I bought two more. I highly recommend these! The only drawback I can see is that they are narrow so you don’t get the flow of a larger diameter hose.

It lasted a year and then it got a Bubble and ruptured. I don’t recommend it because it is not easy to fix since it has the metal all around it.

Light weight, but sturdy. Comes with a nozzle and extra gasket's. Metal connectors seem to be very nice and fit well. I got 100 ft , but would probably get 50 next time so it doesn’t curl up and is less to store.

Great hose, light and never kinks. I use it in the winter to water my animals in the barn, and it is great, when I am done with it , I just coil it up in a 5-gallon pale and carry it back to my heated garage, so it doesn't freeze. When I need it, it just uncoils easily from the bucket and is easy to drag around to water my animals. Well, worth the money, it's the only hose I have found that doesn't kink and break in the winter.

Excellant product.Over time it developed a leak at the nozzle that couldn’t be repaired.I sent an email to them and they asked for a photo & some info.Since they do not sell nozzles they very quickly sent me another hose & nozzle AT NO CHARGE.They even sent me a roll of plumbers tape! What other company would do that! I’m one very happy customer with this product & I would highly recommend purchasing their hose. Thank you Rosy Earth!!

I'M GOING TO LEAVE MY ORIGINAL REVIEW AFTER I WRITE A PRODUCT UPDATE (7/20/2024): After my less than glowing review I received notification that the company had refunded the purchase price of the second hose. I neither asked for--nor expected--a refund. THEY OBVIOUSLY STAND BY THEIR PRODUCT--and the first hose that I bought continues to function admirably and it is by far much easier to use. AS WITH ANY PRODUCT THERE ARE GOING TO BE FAILURES, some showing up sooner than others. I raised my stars from 1 to 3 in part due to the positive performance of my first hose and a company willing to stand behind its product. I purchased a heavy duty rubber hose as a replacement before the refund was processed. Now I have two disparate products and will be able to better assess the qualities/merits/demerits of each. But I can tell you now: the rubber hose is much harder to manage. MY ACTIONS MAY HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO PRODUCT FAILURE. I had been watering and rather than turning off the spigot I left it on (still at a very low pressure) knowing that I was going to be doing more watering. With rubber hoses my experience has been that once a nozzle/sprayer head was no longer in use the residual water pressure was released either at the spigot or the nozzle head. With these metal hoses the internal sheath is not strong enough to withstand even low pressures for very long. IF YOU ARE WATERING AND SEE THE METAL OUTER LAYER STARTING TO EXPAND, TURN OFF THE SPIGOT IMMEDIATELY AND DISCHARGE THE WATER. This product also has an automatic discharge function: when the spigot is turned off, any remaining water is released at the spigot head. Unless you want to get drenched (maybe on a hot day this might be an attractive idea), stand back because water goes everywhere for a few seconds. Following is MY ORIGINAL REVIEW. So I had leaks in my old hoses after 4 years of intermittent use. Time to replace. These looked solid and like they would last a long time. I bought another after the first hose thinking it was a good product. It looks like they are strong--but the fancy metal casing covers a very thin plastic core. Yesterday (barely two weeks after the return by date) the newer of the hoses sprang a leak and there was a geyser. My demands weren't extraordinary--very low water pressure, never pulled it hard, and always had corner protectors in place. I tried gorilla tape. It can't be repaired. I'm left to wonder how long the other hose will last before springing an irreparable leak. Meanwhile at the height of the season when I need it the most--I'm off to the local hardware store to replace it. $60 bucks down the drain for one of the two hoses that didn't even last 3 weeks.

Mi mejor compra! He comprado diferentes tipos de mangueras; no viene al caso explicar de cada una el porqué terminé tirándole! No sabía existía este tipo de manguera! Es una maravilla, compré la de 30 mts exactamente igual a como la anuncian, no pesa...enredada pero no se necesita más que ir sacando lo necesario y la potencia del agua fluye igual...estéticamente es bonita no ocupa mucho espacio...ME ENCANTÓ!
