These garden beds are heavy duty and well made. I have always had a combination of in ground and raised beds but this year I will be living alone and have no intention of having to remove sod to make a garden. These beds will first be lined with cardboard then some ground and decayed wood chips. The good soil mixed with compost will go on top. The reason I bought these is because I can put 4x4's on either end and put a 6' fence in to handle my climbing peas and beans. I can sneak radishes and other quick growing crops along the sides and harvest them before the peas and beans produce. It took quite a while for my son-in-law to put them together but they are extremely well made.

I’m really enjoying my raised beds. The seeds I’ve planted here have grown much faster than the ones I’ve planted directly into the ground because the soil is so much nicer. We did till the ground before placing the beds and adding bags of raised-bed soil. I mixed a more generic (organic) brand with equal bags of the miracle kind, and then I added a little manure. Because I wanted to start my cooler weather veggies early, I added soil to only one of the four compartments of the two raised beds. Then I added soil to the second whole raised bed for my squash and tomatoes about a month later. I’m saving the second part of my cold-weather bed for later in the summer. Putting the beds together wasn’t difficult at all BUT WEAR THE GLOVES they give you. The edges are sharp, and you might as well protect yourself. I LOVE my beds. I noticed the price fluctuates with sales and coupons, but they are definitely worth the money. Where I live, they can be used year round. I’m so happy I bought them!

Holds dirt. Don't know how long they will last, but for now they do what they are supposed to do and the price can't be beat. I agree with other reviewers that the instructions suck, but after you figure out the first one, the rest are a breeze. The reviewers that said they bow in, that's because they assembled them incorrectly. 1) when you lay a panel on your driveway, lay it so the bolt holes are flat against the concrete. The side facing you will be the outside, the side against the concrete will be the inside. Also, the end panels are a couple inches shorter than the side panels. If you don't notice this and end up with side panels on the ends, your sides will be bowing in and the frame will be out of square. I had to reassemble my first one 3 times. Once I got it right it was perfect and the rest assembled in like 15 minutes.

These raised beds are decent overall. The color is slightly lighter than shown in the photos, but still looks nice. The 8x4 ft size isn’t the most stable — the longer sides tend to bow out a little after filling with soil — but for the price, I can’t complain. They were easy to assemble and do the job well enough for a backyard garden.

This container was shipped and received very quickly and well packaged - no damage. No parts were missing, and the container itself was very easy to assemble. It did take 2 people to place it in the garden due to its size (12" x 2"). Since it is being used for potatoes, it does take a lot of soil and fertilizer. We placed it on a terraced garden and added additional support on the inside to ensure that the sides did not bend from any backfilling we did around the container.

They seem to be holding up. Mine are only a month old, I'm very pleased with them. I ordered another set. Easy to put together. If you put it together and need to move it to its permanent home, I would suggest getting some help. Once in place and filled, it's great.

Love this garden bed. Simple sleek look, easy to put together. I have my garden planted and it’s holding up well. I prefer this height - lets the plants get a lot of sun without needing excessive amounts of soil

You can see the sides kind of bow a bit on the 12’ model. Hopefully holds up for at least a few seasons. It’s a great size and does hold the dirt! The sheet metal is a little thinner than I was hoping for. I went with the grey model to help with heat retention (hopefully). We will see how they grow!
