super cute and easy to put in! make sure you SIZE DOWN! i had a ring in that was 8mm so i ordered an 8mm in this ring and it was way too big. i reordered in a 6mm and its perfect! it you want that tight look make sure you size down! also right side means YOUR right not the right of someone facing you. My nose has been pierced & healed for 20+ years now, and I’ve never had an issue with *any* jewelry I’ve worn in it until this ring. And I definitely don’t always buy quality jewelry, but I’ve still never had a reaction like this even with other inexpensive pieces. First off- it’s extremely sharp on both ends, so putting it in and wearing it was painful. It was constantly stabbing both the inside & outside of my nose, and the whole thing is so thin that it’s like a wire that wants to slice through your skin with any sort of movement. It discolored my nose within a day, turning it green wherever it was touching my skin. I should’ve taken it out at that point but it was cute (the only positive) and I’m stubborn, so I wanted it to work. I guess I thought my nose would get used to it somehow? By the third day of wearing it I noticed the whole side of my nose was pink, *really* red around the ring, and extremely sore, too. I looked even closer and it was crusty as if it had been oozing, and a bump was forming on the edge of the hole where the jewelry was touching my skin. When I noticed it was also hot to the touch, I realized it was infected and I needed to take it out right away… another painful process. Luckily some saltwater flushing & antibiotic ointment have it mostly back to normal now, and I learned my lesson on cheap body jewelry made with unknown materials. Don’t. do. it. It’s definitely not worth it.

The double nose ring hoop for a single piercing is great for those who don’t want a double piercing, but want the look. I decided to try this nose ring to see if I wanted the look of a double nose piercing. I love the look, it’s attractive and unique in my opinion, it just didn’t work for me personally. Despite loving the look, I only gave this nose ring 3 stars, as it wasn’t easy to put in and irritated my nose right away. Also, I tend to like my nose hoops basically hugging my nostril (I don’t like the look of it sticking out), but I was not able to manipulate the double nose hoop to get the look that I wanted personally. I wasn’t stoked on how far the hoop stuck out, but decided to continue to wear it anyways and see if it would grow on me. Unfortunately, even if I had gotten used to the look of it sticking out, it continued to further irritate and even cause an infection, so I eventually had to remove it. Although this nose ring didn’t work for me, I love the idea, and it is a very well made, quality piece of jewelry that may work for someone else.

The ring can be a bit difficult to put in at first, but once you get the hang of it you’ll definitely wear it almost every day. I say almost because my nose piercing is relatively new and it flares up after a few days. So, I wouldn’t recommend this or any sterling silver piercing with a newly pierced nose. But, it looks pretty realistic in terms of double pierced.

Buyer's wife review... let me tell you a little story about this particular nose ring and why having to "bend" the "cheap" metal is not a bad thing, like other reviews have mentioned. This morning, like most days, the Amazon guy came while I was laying down with my dog and as per usual, he jumped up and ran to the door thinking the delivery was for him because he's a brat and his shark costume isn't even coming until tomorrow. Anyway... Unbeknownst to me, this would happen to be the exact moment when this nose ring got caught on his collar. Let me tell you, Amazon buyers with nose piercings, I'm pretty sure I briefly died. When I realized the side of my nose was not in pieces and I much to my surprise was not bleeding at all, I found that this "cheap metal" nose ring had actually straightened out from the spiral and slid very easily out of my nose, rather than ripping through it. Thank the lorrrrd. An unrelated ER visit billing summary actually informed me that stitches cost $2500 a piece, so if I do the math correctly, this "cheap" nose ring is a whole lot less than that. And it bends right back, even from being totally straightened out. Moral of this story is, it's super cute, it'll make your face look better, and you'll get a ton of compliments and there will be no traumatic nasal injuries with this one. Buy and enjoy. Xoxo, C

I bought this because I see Courtney Worthington on social media wearing it all the time and I LOVE it on her. I love this nose ring on me too! I got the 20g 8 mm version and it’s a perfect fit. I was surprised at how “unraveled” the nose ring came in the packaging but it was extremely easy to manipulate and bend. It took me a couple minutes to insert the nose ring but I also didn’t watch the instructional video. The 20g thickness seems accurate, I have a photo comparing it to another nose ring I have and I think the other one is 18g. I really like how it looks and I’m happy to switch up my look without having to get another piercing.
