The bags were much larger than I expected. My husband and I used 2 small bags each and each of us packed 7 pairs of jeans and 7 shirts and had plenty of room for socks and underwear to fill in the spaces along with an extra pair of shoes. All fit in each of our carryon bags. Ladies there was enough room for a makeup bag, curling iron and blow dryer too! I highly recommend these bags to condense clothes for traveling. I have not used them for storage yet, but will be anxious to store some bedding items in the larger bags. The bags are very easy to use.

These work great. I had only two bags that didn’t stay vacuum sealed but I sealed it again and made sure the cap was on and it stayed this time. I didn’t use the pump that came with them I used the vacuum and it sucked the air out very fast. These are easy to use and great for the price. They aren’t a thin plastic they are very durable. The items I put in the bags will definitely be protected from spiders and will be easy to store. I would buy them again.

Seem very good (at onset anyway). As I compression bag novice, I bought the 20 pack, which (for me anyway) had more small bags than I found ideally useful - I was packing all sorts and sizes of pillows and if I had 2 matching, would have preferred putting them in a bag together. Small size really only hold one standard bed pillow. I used them all, but next time I'd go with the 16 pack which has fewer small ones. The hand pump will take forever, so if you have a vacuum that works, go with that to remove the air or buy a small vacuum designed for these types of bags - may be worth the extra ?$15. I bought 2 brands of bags (ones with the most higher ratings) and these seem superior. They are very sturdy and have a nice sturdy zipper which makes sealing the bag easier. Unlike the older? or maybe other brands?, these have a screw top to seal the valve. My older bags have a snap top and they lose compression after a while. Hopefully the screw top will help compression last longer. The only improvement I could recommend for this brand, at this early stage anyway, is to have sizes printed on each bag. I had them all mixed up as I was using them and that was a mistake because then I had to keep sorting through to find the size I was looking for. The other set I bought had way too much info printed on their bags, but also included was the size, which was nice. I will see how these last and if they prove solid, will buy these (over others) again.

In the process of moving and I use these bags to make more space so I don’t have to carry more boxes. I did a test and using the jumbo bags greatly reduced my boxes. I put all my clothes in four boxes. I only had to use two when using the vacuum Bags.

I have bought different kinds of vacuum bags over the years. These are particularly good. Bags are strong, easy to use and none leaked as has been a problem with others. I bought variety size . Really a plus for getting more into a suitcase... Keeps blankets dry even though I have to store in basement.

I’ve had these Fygrip vacuum storage bags for about six months now, and my experience has been mixed. On the surface, the set looks like a great value—you get 16 bags in multiple sizes and a hand pump, which is convenient if you don’t have a vacuum nearby. The concept is solid and they do save a lot of space… at first. When I first used them, everything seemed great. The bags compressed bulky bedding and out-of-season clothes easily, and the hand pump worked surprisingly well. All four sizes came in handy for different storage needs. But after a few months, I started noticing problems. About 45% of the bags lost their seal and slowly reinflated. Some developed small leaks, others just wouldn’t stay compressed no matter how carefully I sealed them. The plastic is on the thinner side and doesn’t feel very durable. The seals also seem hit-or-miss—some close tight, while others require multiple tries and still fail after a while. It’s disappointing, because the space-saving part works really well when the bags hold up. ⸻ Pros: • Great variety of sizes • Space-saving is effective when bags work • Hand pump is handy for travel or quick use • Easy to use initially Cons: • About 45% of bags leak over time • Thin, cheap-feeling plastic • Inconsistent sealing performance • Not reliable for long-term storage ⸻ Final Thoughts: If you’re using these bags for short-term storage or travel, they might be fine. The price is decent for the quantity, and they do work—just not for long. But if you’re expecting long-term airtight storage, you might want to invest in something sturdier. Too many of these started leaking to fully recommend them.
