I purchased the 2 Pack Dog Gate, Mesh Baby Gate by Lofekea hoping it would be a convenient, no-drill solution for keeping my dog out of certain areas. Unfortunately, the product fell short of expectations. The main issue is that the loops that hook onto the mesh gate are extremely weak. My dog, a medium-sized breed, lightly pushed on the gate, and the loops ripped almost immediately. This happened within a day of setting it up. Given that the gate is marketed for keeping pets in place, it was frustrating to see it fail so easily with such minimal force. While the concept of a no-drill gate is appealing, the quality of the materials, especially the hooks and loops, is very disappointing. I would not recommend this gate for anyone with even a mildly curious or active pet. It simply isn’t durable enough to serve its purpose.

I was ok with this until my 11 month old leaned on and it broke way to easily

Found it hard to get it to stay up. Clips not adhering to wall nor the floor.

Item was not functional as a gate at all but I found use for it keeping my little girl out of our cabinets.

They are a pain in the ass to put up you have to unhook from both top and bottom every time you go through it, it’s not sturdy, it ripped after 2 days and my baby figured out how to crawl under/through it after a few hours. Luckily I bought it as a deterrent to keep him out from under his sisters bunk bed and not for a safety reason!

Easy to install and pull it back and forth for use. Unfortunately the material could not withstand my puppies nails and strength. It worked to deter my adult dog.

Well this sucked. The first one I put up within 36 hours, one of the corner straps simply broke so I couldn’t use it. The next lasted less than 24 hours because my terrier chewed the corner which then disintegrated into strands and unraveled. If you have a docile dog, maybe it would work, especially if you aren’t going in and out of the gate, but mine was in a high traffic area and it was difficult to unhook and rehook, then when the corner strap broke, I couldn’t use it. For me, this was no good.

Complete waste of money, incredibly flimsy, difficult to fit and my 3.5kg dog bashed through it

These are great idea but too big for my door so the hooks don’t go on door frame and have to be placed on walls and they don’t stick good to walls

My cat has just had an operation she's not allowed to jump, I got these in preparation to use on the stairs but so far haven't had to because she's been quite careful. I wouldn't say these would fit at the bottom of the stairs, it's quite awkward with an immediate side wall. If you're planning to use these on carpet, the suction cups for the bottom obviously doesn't work but I found them to be flimsy attaching to our woodern floor regardless. The one in the picture I actually modified by making little holes in the bottom edge and putting two poles through, not ideal if you need both screens to use as intended. Our larger/older cat still managed to get under or over it, which it was I'm not sure! Overall whilst my younger cat is recovering its done well to let her get some fresh air and air out our sitting room, to which I'm grateful for it. I wouldn't rely on this product to keep a pet out of a space, I think it's easy for them to find a way around it. Once my cat is better I think she'd push herself around it easily enough, which is a shame. I'd suggest investing in something like a gate, as this is okay but not for the long term or to leave your cat unsupervised and expect it keep them in or out!

Absolutely a waste of money. Don't even bother with it, it says that it can be used with children and pets. My cat walked straight through it and so did my kids. It will not keep them safe as its a flimsy material, they only good thing is that it's easy to set up but otherwise absolute crap overall.

Flimsy and awkward to put up. My dog walked right through it. Waste of money.
