Very good, very useful backyard leash. Has enough stretch in it, (especially at 30 ft length) to cushion shock if your dog decides to run after a squirrel.

This is essential for puppy training. We use this for so many different scenarios: we put it on our pup when playing in the yard so we have better control if he tries to bolt, we use it to let him out to go potty while tethered to the front porch, and we use it during training sessions to reinforce behaviors. It’s a great length and very well made.

We have a few of these leads in various lengths. They hold up well and they are not too heavy for our 30lb dog. I really like the 10ft length for training in smaller areas.

Bought this as a training leash for my Havanese (17 lbs) to let her have a bit more freedom than a shorter leash. Pros Price point - This is an inexpensive leash from the ones in the pet store Features - The swivel clips on both ends and it comes with a poop bag holder are all useful Stretchy - This is semi stretchy allowing a little cushion to your hands and/or back if you clip it around your waist if your dog takes off. Length - I like the length and put knots in at 1, 6, 10, 15, 20, and 25 feet. This allows me to pull the leash in quickly if there is another dog or a car coming. It also limits how much the leash drags when the dog sprints away before I have something to grip. Cons Durability - need to be careful about dragging on the ground or if your dog is a chewer. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.

I rescued my husky in the summer, she’s about a year old and I don’t know much about her past. She likes to run and, is a husky, so she’s stubborn. Anyways, we live in Louisiana and it’s currently snowing (about 5 inches) so I attached this leash to the runners and let her play all day. I checked out the window and didn’t see her, thought she just got tangled in the woods. When I went to go get her, there was nothing on the end of the leash. It had snapped (she’s not a chewer, know she didn’t try to eat ant it) and this was what was left on her collar when we finally caught up to her. Not angry, I loved this leash and might get another one, just a little upset that it happened. If it snows a lot, maybe this is not the best choice

This is ideal for our dog who likes to run from her spot in the yard. It has some give but is strong and gives her the length she needs to run without her leaving the yard. Sturdy washable and a good thickness. Not worries about it snapping going back for a shorter lead to use when attending agility at the park.
