I can't really review this product properly as I hope never to actually have need of it. That being said if you want to have some on hand just to be prepared for the worst, this company has numerous other well rated supplements available, so one may hopefully surmise that this product will be of the expected quality when necessary. Additionally, you get two bottles should you care to share with less prepared family, neighbors, or members of your community.

I have not taken these, as I ordered them for my "just-in-case" emergency supplies. I truly hope I never have a need for these. But, that being said, from the provided information and what I can tell, these seem to be a high quality iodine supplement. I appreciate that they are made in the USA and I feel the price is comparable to similar products. They are packaged well. I have no complaints and have peace of mind knowing these are ready should the need for them ever arise.

Thankfully the product is very stable and will last open for an along time. This is according to information provided by the manufacturer. it is typically included in prep bags in case of radiation exposure to protect the thyroid. Get it now, not then. it is not something you are taking on a regular basis, according to the FDA. It offers no protection in advance of nuclear radiation exposure. You take it in the event of that. From the FDA website: KI should not be taken as a preventative before radiation exposure. After a radiological or nuclear event in the United States, local public health or emergency management officials will tell the public if there is a need to take KI or other protective actions.

In today’s world, there are many terrible things that could take place and put everyone of us in jeopardy. Potassium Iodide, is a supplement that could be so important that the government has large stock piles of it. The N1N (Number One Nutrition) 2 Pack Premium Potassium Iodide is a convenient way to have a supply on hand if needed. Although too much potassium in your body is dangerous, so is not having this supplement if you really need it.
In dilemma details states that this form is powder even tho it's a liquid.. I've been wanting to add PI to my diet for a while now and saw these so figured "why not?" They are packaged nicely, small, and easy to take. Even thought they are shaped like old-school asprin they don't get stuck in my throat, and they mix will with other medications. They do have a slight flavor but I got used to it fairly quickly. I wish the serving size was 1 tablet, but you can't have everything. Recommended.

In my opinion, if you are going to have an emergency ‘stuff-hits-the-fan’ kit, potassium iodide is a necessity. I really hope there is never a future event where radioactive fallout is an issue, but personally, I’d rather be prepped than sorry. Potassium iodide is one of the most commonly used supplements to treat radiation exposure. It’s also something that will be nearly impossible to find if said event were ever to come to fruition. For me it’s like having a fire extinguisher or smoke alarm. Do I expect to have a house fire? No. But at the same time, I’d certainly prefer to have one just in case.
