Pretty easy to set up! I had my 10 year old granddaughter who just got her first smartphone for her birthday taking light itselfies within 30 minutes or so of opening the package. I gave it five stars because of its overall usefulness around the house. If it was specifically for traveling around and catching selfies on an impromptu trip to the park... I would give it more like 4 stars. I think it's going to be very useful for doing Amazon reviews for instance. But I'm not so sure about real easy portability unless you carry a decent sized purse or bag. I guess I just remember selfie sticks when they were telescoping and not much bigger than the size of an ink pen with the exception of the head part. But yeah, they weren't tripods! And the tripod adds great stability! And they certainly didn't have lights to play with or remotes either. So... Granddaughter's phone is a basic android, her parents have apples, and I have a razor foldable, it was able to deal with every single phone we put in there with relative ease, and can go from landscape to portrait orientation pretty easily with every one we tried also. It is awesome that you can adjust the color on each of the lights separately...

It's got a rather short rod, fully extended. Most selfie sticks extend a good way out for a nice broad shot of self, but this one seems rather short. The plastics are a bit creaky, and there's a lot of it, but I don't feel that it's incapable of holding my phone. Though, I do feel that if I flick it too hard, like maybe riding a speed boat and hitting a wave, it might snap in half or something taking my phone with it. However, for a quick photo op on the go and the sake of just having a selfie stick or tripod at the ready at any time while being minimally intrusive on your personal stow, I think this is great! Going hiking and think you might want to take some spontaneous selfies, clip this onto your waist and it'll be there when the opportunity arises! I didn't even notice till I observed it up close that it actually has a removable Bluetooth selfie button, pairs up super easy to my phone and allows the ability to set it up and snap a shot from a distance. As for the vanity lights... I'm not a connoisseur of lighting angles and selfie blogs or anything so I can't speak too much on the light quality, but it's nice that you can change the color, intensity and angle of each light on the side. Doesn't really secure in place, just kind of sits in their respective slots, but I guess they assume you'd be sitting still with these lights anyway. I don't like that they are not nearly as portable as the selfie stick/tripod and can't be directly stored with it in any way, they even come in their own separate boxes... but they work just fine and light my face just fine from what I can tell. And don't be fooled, there is no included microphone. They don't say there is, it's just a suggestion, but mentioning it in the photos can be off-putting, so, no microphone, only lights. But I'm not hating on it at all, I kind of like it. Want to take a quick selfie either phone in hand or phone over there somewhere? This has got your back, just don't expect to do anything too extreme with this, I don't think it can handle a ton of abuse.

The size when folded and the functionality of this phone holder/selfie stick is pretty incredible. This actually folds up small enough to be held in the palm of your hand. It is fairly light but steady. It can be used as a tripod stand or held in the hand and extend out as a selfie stick. It came with two attachable lights for taking great selfie photos. The lights have multiple color and brightness options for the perfect setting. There is also a detachable button for taking pictures remotely. The holder has an adjustable range for holding different phone sizes. I have pictured it with a standard phone holder and I’m amazed that it will hold my phone higher and lower than my standard one. I love how compact it is compared to the standard one which is bulky and difficult to store when not in use, but this one is perfect! I think this is a fantastic product and a great value.

This grip is quite easy to attach to your phone. The stand extends about a foot, give or take, and you can position the grip for either landscape or regular (portrait) mode. I really like the lights it comes with — they’re a nice extra — but honestly, I probably won't use them unless I'm doing something more formal, like filming for TikTok or YouTube. Most of the time, I'm just grabbing quick photos or videos on the go, and I don't really want to lug the lights around everywhere. The remote that comes with the grip is nice for selfies or group photos when you have to be physically away from your phone.

Even a large Iphone Pro Max fits well and securely. Handle extends a little ways to make selfies easier. The included LED lights are underpowered for daytime use. Doesn’t add any fill unless brought within a foot of your face - not the most attractive framing.

Cell phones, whether you love them or have learned to hate them, are now an everyday part of life. The camera on good ones, like my iPhone 14 pro, is so good that for 75% of everything I want to take a pic or video of, it works very well. This little jewel of a selfie stick is so handy, that I now keep it in the car so it's handy when I need it. Unlike some of these selfie sticks, this one does not exude that cheap plastic look and feel. It works well. You don't need to read any instructions, as it is pretty intuitive how to use it. I love the lights! There are times when yes your phone camera CAN take a pic in lower light, but it will be somewhat grainy, and therefore a flash unit or something like these lights that attach to it, gives you a much better picture. The price is right for something this handy. I recommend it, especially for those on a budget.
