I've tried three different ones this week and the boom 3 was my favorite. The things you need to know that were important to me - this is the best for the money out there! It has the best sound of all and it has a great picture. If a lamp or two were on in the room, it was still "OK" . It is best if in a dark room, but some light was still ok. We did have a 40" tv still set up - in the room - and compared to it (brightness being a 10 - the projector was about a 6 in brightness. It was still way better than the 300 lumens projectors I had tried. This one was the easiest to use, and has great auto correct features (meaning it is able to see the size of the screen and angles and automatically adjust to it. Those feature, however, didn't work if the projector is too far to one side or at too much of an angle. We tried to position it on a night stand next to a king sized bed with a 100" screen 15' away and it would not "automatically find and fit the screen" but I could "zoom" to make it smaller and fit the screen and then adjust the angles manually to get it perfect - but it wouldn't remember it for the next night of TV watching. Since it had to be done manually at this side angle, I decided it was a NO GO - because i didn't want to take the 3or 4 minutes to get it set up every night. Also, another negative, is it needed a firestick in the HDMI port to get more important apps like peacock and hulu. It had tons of apps, but not the three we used. Another negative, for me, is now I have to use 2 remotes - one for the projector set up, then one for the firestick (not to mention the blue tooth sound bar (3rd remote for volume) but that one at least was "remembered" by the projector and would connect each time automatically. Overall, it was a great projector - heavy duty - bigger than I expected (8.5" square and about 7" tall.) Definitely well built and worth every penny!

I have been in the market trying to find the right projector that was good quality, easy to use, and a good size. This projector covers that and more. It is very easy to use and it has an auto-focus so you don’t ever have to adjust it manually, it does it for you. I love that it already has the preloaded app of Netflix, Prime Video and YouTube. The picture is very clear which is awesome. We used it on a wall and the picture looked so clear. It comes with a remote and the volume is pretty loud that we didn’t have to use a speaker to hear it. The shape of the projector itself is square and it has a fun vintage look to it which I love. Overall, this projector is amazing and I’m so happy I found it. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone!!

This replaces my broken flat screen TV. I project onto a 60" screen. The image is the brightest and most vivid in a dark room, as would be expected. It is super sharp with a lot of detail and the colors are vivid. With a table lamp, or some indirect window light, it is more than acceptable. It is not intended (or priced) to be good with sunlight shining through an open door. I particularly appreciate the keystone correction. I have the unit on the lower shelf of my coffee table, projecting onto an eye level screen. The image is still perfectly proportioned, and the projector is out of sight. The sound of the fan is negligible. There are several image options, plus a user setting that enables full control of color, brightness, etc. All of the presets looked muddy when using my Firestick. The user settings allowed me to make my own adjustments to get a perfect picture. I'm glad I took the time to fine tune because it made all the difference. Maybe the built in apps would look better without adjusting. I opt to stream through a Firestick. The built in speakers are a claim to fame with this projector, and it does sound a lot better than a typical built in speaker, but I still opt to use a sound bar in front of the screen. The sound is in sync when using bluetooth, but I have some minor interference issues so I will probably run an audio cable at some point. Customer service is incredible. Response is immediate and they are very helpful. I'm extremely happy with this projector! It took some trial and error to find the right placement etc, but I don't feel like I compromised by not having a TV.

Set onto a platform up to 30' away, the throw distance is very good. And within this distance, the image quality is surprisingly clear, crisp and definitely 4K HD. Making it very difficult to justify buying a new 70"+ TV , that takes up significantly more space, with additional wall mount, or TV stand. The choice to provide a clear wall space or projector screen, and mounting this permanently onto a ceiling or back wall, is extremely simple to facilitate, with little effort. We set this up in our recroom, where we already had previous models setup. And within minutes, utilized the HDMI ports for our Blu-ray player. To give it a good, known clarity test. And although the multimedia capabilities of this compact unit provide onboard subscription services for Amazon Video, Netflix, and many more. But with the possibility to connect HDMI devices, you can launch full feature items without any subscriptions. And with Blue Ray tech, I was floored by the intense clarity and definition that was produced by this little projector. Especially at the MSRP that is listed on Amazon, I cannot believe the difference that we see, that is actually better than our 4yr old Samsung 65". And it isn't a lowend TV. To start with, the refresh rate produced gives fast action movement a very smooth, trail free image. So that watching Star wars, Lord of the Rings, Top Gun, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Expendables, all show a very enjoyable image that is completely immersive and as close as we have been to cinema quality. I can't say enough how surprised we are of the quality. Now for sound quality, I will start by saying that we have a Top quality JBL sound system with 7.1 Dolby Atmos. And while connection to this is quickly applied. We wanted to test the brands statement of "amazing 3D, on board sound quality." So we enjoyed our first movie (Star Wars Ep4) without any additional speakers or receivers. And again, were very surprised by the level of stereo sound separation. And the level of depth that came from the tiny speakers on board! This unit has taken advantage of some earlier Bose technology that is referred to as "Direct Reflection Technology". And it angles 2 of the speakers on a 45° angle , to thro sound around the edges of the room. Giving a sense of sound behind and beside you, when sitting in the middle. As well, this allows sound to reflect off of the walls more effectively. Allowing the listener to hear things from the left, while sitting on the right, much better than traditional speakers. While the low end bass, and high treble sounds, are focused more centrally. But with a well defined stereoscopic array. And to experience this level of sound quality from such an economically feasible, compact unit, is truly flabbergasting. And something that you need to experience in person. But where the unit it placed in an area ahead of your seating position, in a way to best take advantage of the image set and sound quality, you have absolutely no need for any additional speakers or sound system at all. It gives you a fully engaging experience all on its own. Making it perfect for any TV room of 30x30' or less. But fully capable of providing a great experience for any room larger. Including doing a make shift "Drive-in" style back yard! For great family movie nights in the summer. The technology installed into this projector consists of many incredible, modern enhancements. From smart TV applications, and Dolby 3D sound. To stellar audio visual quality that outperforms many flat screen TVs of higher price points. And with it's lightweight, compact design, it is exceptionally well suited for taking with you to the cottage, RV, or just the backyard. Or to use for professionals who often provide presentations for sales or training seminars. And for anyone who wants to enjoy a very well rounded home experience, this gives you Amazon-azing boom for the buck. Where this alone, gives a great home cinema experience. Without adding anything else from your budget if you don't want to. Setup in minutes, you just need a clear, clean wall. Add to it as you want later. But you're good to go, right out of the box. A great deal!

I don't have a lot of experience with projectors. I did order a similarly priced projector a couple of years ago to use outside so that I could have movies on my patio. If I compare this AURZEN projector to the one I already own the AURZEN is miles ahead of it in terms of brightness, sound, ease of use and build quality. This projector was very simple to setup. I had it connected to my wifi and I was watching youtube videos within a couple of minutes. I was very impressed to see that it automatically focuses when you first turn it on or move it. I tried it in both a dark room and a room with all the lights on. The dark room was best but it was also more than bright enough to have excellent video quality in my well lit room. The specs claim that this projector is 500 ANSI. All the projector manufacturers overestimate their brightness by a great deal but I feel like this one isn't overestimating much if at all as it was very good with bright, clear video in my well lit room. I doubt it would be sufficient outside on a sunny day but I think that is true of pretty much any projector unless it costs a more than triple the price of this one. It is a nice looking and solid unit. When you first take it out of the box you will notice that it is pretty heavy but also pretty compact. It also doubles as a bluetooth speaker. I am not sure that I would buy this purely to use as a speaker but if you don't have a lot of room and need to cut down on all the devices it does do a pretty good job with the sound. The sound on this projector is significantly better than the projector I previously owned. Netflix, prime and youtube apps are preinstalled and you won't need any HDMI cables or smart sticks to watch that content on the projector. They have made this projector pretty easy to use in that respect. There is only one physical button on the projector itself meaning you have to reply on the remote to fully control the device. The remote worked well for me and had good range. The remote is both bluetooth and infrared. When I first turned it on, I followed the on screen instructions and it paired easily. Once the remote is paired via bluetooth you can use it without having a direct line of sight to the projector and this comes in pretty handy if you are mounting the projector out of sight. The only minor complaint I have about the remote is that the batteries were not included. At this price point it would be nice if they were just to save new owners from having to go look for 2 AAA batteries. Projectors can get very pricey quickly but this model is a good value for the money. For me, it is hard to spend a lot of money on a brand that I never heard of, but if you take the chance on this one I don't think you will be disappointed. Amazon's return policy is pretty good anyway so there is the possibility of trying it out if you are not sure. The video quality and sound are great. Most all of the projectors I looked at claimed to support 4k. This just means that they can decode a 4k signal and it is then projected at 1080p resolution. It is nice to see that this manufacturer is pretty honest about this as they state that 4k videos are projected at 1080p if you look in the questions section. If you want to try out a projector and are looking in this price range, this one is an excellent buy. Amazon says it is currently unavailable which is a bummer but there is another AURZEN BOOM3 model currently available that looks like this one but claims a higher ANSI brightness and I would certainly try that one out if I was looking for a well built, well priced and great performing projector. If this current model does come back in stock I would grab it up if you are looking for a projector in this price range.

Click to play video So this is a LOT of projector in a... comparatively small package; my other one is markedly cheaper, but it still packs waaaay less than this thing, despite being almost triple the size of this item. Getting started, as that was one key improvement from my old unit I was hoping for (and not disappointed!) - the keystone and autofocus is extremely easy to get right, effortless in fact. Super cool, and you can even put it in the settings for the projector to avoid wall blemishes like outlets and stuff as much as possible. The one thing that didn't seem to work super well, when I was messing with getting this set up prior to my other home theatre equipment arriving - when it's zoomed, it doesn't keep the angle during this process, and then seems to reduce back to the pre-adjusted size thereafter. Mind you, the option I selected did say "automatic" - you probably need to flick that so you can adjust the upward angle a bit. And I can say with confidence: this is true 1080p/FHD output. Accepts 4k to downscale as *input*. Critical distinction. Still, image quality is absolutely fine. Otherwise, it's got the software to back the experience - while I would've liked just normal android, it comes with the core apps and a file manager as a means to access content from spots like a USB stick. Setup was super simple as well. But yea, no need for an external streaming device or anything! Though, if one wants to use it with input, not only does it support mirroring, but it has a TON of IO ports to allow you to hook a lot of stuff up. Certainly a projector that earns its place in a home theatre as a one stop solution. A small recommendation, however - be sure to check filetypes if that's gonna be a concern for you. It has broad compat, but they do tend to be limited more than say a PC would be (or hey, just mirror! awesome). It also has a very nice aesthetic that'll easily fit in with any decor. It's sleek, sharp, and yet with that sort of brown fabric-ish wrap, undeniably cozy. It's substantial, not overly weighty mind you - but definitely enough that suggests it's well built inside as well. One small annoyance was that it was very awkward for me to get the plastic peel off the lens when I was setting it up. They could afford to make the tab for the plastic peel both more visible and certainly larger. But yea, this is pretty damn faultless for a relatively inexpensive smart projector with excellent, easy to use picture features and more inputs than you can shake a stick at. Be sure to check the video for some clips (noting it's zoomed out a bit due to my lacking a screen since my home theater was delayed installing xD) that hopefully give some impression of its capabilities - but as a first party to the experience, I can say with confidence it handles things famously. ======================== == Overall View: [😀] == == - 😦🙁😐😊😀 + == ======================== Media Used: Video mixing 1. 20th Century Fox title roll with audio for a sample of commonly known item; short clip from "Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009 - 1080p); its autocalibration in action. Note: It gets much bigger than this, the zoom was due to needing a flat wall until my screen could arrive for home theatre. It gets the point across, I hope. The cropping is mine - I realized certain elements of the video file title probably wouldn't be appropriate to show xD Focus is automatic, and razor sharp. Clips used should fall within fair use, but I can adjust that if needbe.

Click to play video Ist 1.
