I ordered this because I got fed up with phone apps. It took more time then usual to be delivered but it arrived on time. It's a little tricky to set up. Read the instructions carefully and DO write down (as they say in instructions). When you start programming you only have 8 secs for each entry otherwise you keep starting over. Once That was done it works great! Really happy with it so far - comes with a neck rope and a clip but I put it in a zipped pocket. Very accurate and it stores info for 30 days and says it puts the old info where you can access - not used yet so can't say anything about it. It's seems quite sturdy and the clip on slides off easily if you want to use the neck sturdy neck string. Info is als easy to scroll through.

The TriSport is very accurate. I wanted a pedometer to record the distance that I walk, and nothing else. I tested it on a treadmill. After a little tweaking on the stride length, I got it accurate to within 52.8 feet per mile. This makes the Realalt Trisport 99% accurate. It is also easy to use, value for the money, and fits comfortably in one's pocket.

I have found this pedometer perfect for my needs. However, the accuracy of the step and distant count is not spot on. It is not a suitable for anyojne who is looking for an extremely accurate fitness tracker. It is easy to set up and read the display. I wore it on the waiste band of my pants and tucked the lanyard into a pocket, so that if it accidently came dislodged it would not get lost. The clasping/gripping mechanism has held firmly on various thicknesses of clothing. Its small relatively small size makes it easy to conceal. The battery life is good and I like that I don't have to recharge constantly. It has several different mode setting i.e. calories burned, step count, miles walked, and a memory that allows you to find daily, weekly or monthly accumulation of steps or distance. The constructions appears to be very durable and for me it was a good value for the money and fit my needs as a step and distance tracker. I would recommend this product.

I have been using fitness trackers since 2012. I have had 2 1/2 trackers before the 3DTriSport. The first two were the same: Fit***, the first model out. I lost the first and then the second. The clip holder did not hold the device securely, or the two that I had, did not, and failed. They were accurate. The second was a Yam** E510 which just stopped working two weeks ago. It did not have a holder, and came with a very short lanyard, which I could not figure out its use. I did not have any problems programming either of these. I purchased the 3DTriSport based upon reviews, discounting those which had a programming problem. Right after I ordered I received an email from a customer support rep, giving me instructions, a training video and a telephone number to call if I had problems. The item arrived and the blister pack opened easily. Included was a clip holder and a two part lanyard, and instructions (I must have three sets right now. Programming was easy. The only mistake I made was in pulling out the plastic battery protector which started the clock. Thus was easy to correct. The clip holder seems robust and I have clipped it to my t-shirt collar, sock, pocket while exercising at my gym and it stayed put. I have placed the small part of the lanyard on the tracker and sometimes connect it to the longer portion and wear it around my neck while on a treadmill. That way it is easier to compare the distances on each. Now, the most important part: accuracy. I have tracked distance on a treadmill and the 3DTriSport about 7 times. It has never deviated by more than 0.02 miles. This is accurate enough for my needs. I have also tracked distance from my house to my gym and compared to Google Maps to the TriSport and again, never more than 0.02 miles difference. I also found that it tracks walking on stairs as well. This in accurate, well made, and quite a value for its price.

I’ve been using this pedometer for about a week. The setup was relatively simple and the instruction manual clear. I was looking for a pedometer that didn’t require connecting to either my phone or laptop and this one provides quite a bit of information. On the first day I started the return process because I kept hitting the buttons and resetting the device. After flipping it over in the clip so the buttons were on the bottom helped with that, so I gave it another try. The clip is not very strong and the pedometer kept falling off and it dug into my skin when worn on my exercise tights. The screws to remove the back or change the battery are very tiny. But it seems to be accurate and does what it’s supposed to do. My previous pedometer was an old Omron that was perfect for my use, but the battery cover fell off after several years. The clip was strong and a lanyard with a clip was included, so I could attach it to my shoe. The best thing about that pedometer was that it had a cover, so no problem accidentally hitting buttons. I’ve spent a lot of time looking for a similar replacement with good reviews but without success. I’m keeping this one because the pros outweigh the cons, the price was acceptable, and I’ve found a fix for the whole clip thing that I hope works out. I have a small magnetic buddy pouch that clips at the waist of my pants and doesn’t irritate my skin, and I’m putting the pedometer inside. We’ll see how it goes…

It seems to be a fair price for an entry level pedometer. Im not looking to spend a hundred dollars or more for a smart device. This works for me to provide a little information and to get me up and out the door to go walking.

Setup is pretty simple. The instructions advise writing down the numbers to be entered during setup because inactivity for 10 seconds forces the user to start from the beginning. Otherwise, it is user friendly and works great. Clips easily on a pocket or waist band, and it is so light weight I can't tell it is there. Good little device for such a cheap price.

This pedometer is very accurate when clipped on. I found it was overcounting when kept in my pocket. The best feature though is that it does not need to be charged. I have had if for a month now and have done over 350,000 steps. It’s very motivating !

love it - better than my FITBIT as use walker which doesn't record steps properly - gives me boost to do 10k steps a day.

Works good. Easy to set up and use BUT don't be afraid to look at YouTube for very easy step by step set up. Makes the whole process very clear and easy. You will need to spend time on figuring out your stride and tweak it a bit. Great product.

This is a stand alone pedometer. It does not connect to the internet. It just records steps. It is accurate with the count. It also provides calories used, distance walked etc. The accuracy of the distance, of course, depends on how accurately you set stride length. The numbers are clear and easy to read. The 30 day memory is easy to use. It may be somewhat difficult to set up for first time use. Follow the instructions that come with the pedometer or use the online video instructions
