My daughter thought this pen was so much fun! I got the used-like new one and it had a problem where the motor didn’t work. Heater was fine. Ended up using my spudger, opening the white case, and noticed the motor wasn’t plugged in the socket on the pcb, which maybe was why it was returned. Plugged it in and we were in business!

Absolutely awesome gift for kids ages five through 12. Kids can use this to create 3-D artwork. It is a great price but the refill can get costly. It certainly keeps kids entertained that is fun to use. Many kids may start in their stem labs or maker space.

I bought 12 start pens for the school library. The students have accidentally jammed at least 4 of them but 3Doodler works with me every time. They have replaced them and let me know what the problem was. Even though I've had to replace so many pens, the product is not defective in any way; it's kids not listening to instructions. Were they to follow my instructions thoroughly I would still have the original 12 I purchased (roughly 2019). The ones the kids haven't jammed are still going just fine. As for the product, the Start+ is a bit young for junior high kids but they are easy to use and maintain and the pen tips don't get too hot. The students' favorite thing to do is wrap the melted plastic around their fingers or wrists to make finger cages, rings, and bracelets. Starter+ is perfect for it.

We used it for a few months, but not every day and only for short periods. The extruder got jammed, and it's very difficult to clean, almost impossible. Now it doesn't work (keeps clogging constantly).

I got these for my nieces for Christmas. I was looking for something that would be an activity and promote creativity rather than just another toy to add to their pile. It’s very compact and neatly packaged. The price is great (I got it on sale). Great gift for kids!

Really fun and easy to use. Bought this for our grandson's 6th birthday, he and his 4 year old brother have enjoyed it quite often since. A bit of a learning curve and some help needed to follow the provided patterns. But they can design their own creations without any help. It's been really fun to see what they come up with! The picture is a Magikarp Pokemon the 6 year old made his first day using this!

La verdad es un producto muy bueno, a mi hija de 5 años le encantó y le pareció muy bonito y los diseños muy buenos. Es un tanto difícil de usar al principio, pues el cargar las barritas de colores puede costarles un poco al principio. Al principio le frustró que no se hacía el 3D directo, si no que tenía que estar uniendo caras en 2D, pero una vez logrado esto, fue un excelente regalo que disfrutó mucho.

Meine Tochter hatte sich den 3Doodler Start+ gewünscht, und ich muss zugeben, dass ich anfangs nicht wirklich von der Idee überzeugt war. Ich dachte, es handele sich um ein weiteres Spielzeug, das schnell in der Ecke landen würde. Doch ich wurde positiv überrascht. Der 3Doodler Start+ lädt Kinder zu einem kreativen Spiel- und Bauprojekt ein, das über das typische Spielen mit Puppen oder Autos hinausgeht. Das Gerät ermöglicht es den Kindern, dreidimensionale Kunstwerke und Objekte zu erstellen, was ihre Vorstellungskraft und Feinmotorik fördert. Meine Tochter verbringt stundenlang damit, ihre eigenen kleinen Kunstwerke zu gestalten und ist begeistert von den Möglichkeiten, die der 3Doodler bietet. Ein kleiner Nachteil ist jedoch, dass es manchmal schwierig sein kann, an das Nachfüllmaterial für den 3Doodler Start+ heranzukommen, da es gelegentlich ausverkauft ist. This is our 3rd 3D pen the other 2 were from other companies and both broke after a couple of uses! This one has been used regularly since the summer and it’s great! My daughter is 7 and can use it easily. Would recommend
