I ordered the Cloud Energy 48V 105ah battery with the 250 BMS lithium battery for my Precedent and I couldn’t be happier! Shipping was fast and installation was a breeze. Huge upgrade from lead acid batteries. Longer life, more torque, and better top end speed. Not to mention dropping a few hundred pounds. I love the monitor that comes with it as well. The only thing that I did different was purchasing an Eco charge port from buggies unlimited specifically for the Precedent. I could have modified the included charge port but chose to simplify the installation process as well as keep the original look. 100% not a deal breaker since the battery did come with a universal charge port. I’ve had everything installed for about a couple of months and it performs flawlessly. Highly recommend going with Cloud Energy. Vivi and Emily have been great to work with regarding setting up the 5 year warranty and any questions you may have. Excellent customer service and will definitely purchase from them again!

Right from the beginning, I received great service, support and delivery. The battery was easy to install with clear instructions and quick fittings on all accessory parts. My golf cart is a bigger cart that went 25 mph with high end 1-year warranty traditional batteries (6 – 8-volt acid batteries). Now, with this new lithium battery, it has more power, 300 lbs. less battery weight and now goes 32 mph. I now have a five-year warranty and five times less upkeep at the same price as 6 good acid batteries. This was a no brainer. I would recommend this battery to anyone wanting to replace their current battery system.

After extensive research, I decided on the CloudEnergy 105Ah 48V battery for our Club Car Precedent. One of the biggest factors in my decision was the excellent customer service—quick, detailed responses to all my questions gave me confidence in the purchase. Now that we’ve had the battery for a several weeks, I can say it has completely transformed our golf cart experience. The battery life is outstanding—we’re able to drive around the neighborhood, haul items in the yard, and use the cart more than ever before without worrying about constant recharges. Installation was also straightforward, thanks in part to Sailor Rick’s review on the battery-only product listing, which provided helpful guidance. A Few Installation Tips: - Negative Battery Cable: The factory negative cable is too short. I recommend getting a 2-3 foot 4-gauge cable. If you don’t want to modify the harness in the controller, you can add a bus bar or battery switch in the battery tub. I went with a battery switch—just note that most have 3/8” studs. - Battery Fitment: The molded plastic protrusions in the battery tub prevent the battery from dropping in. Removing them was easy with an oscillating tool. I made a cardboard template the size of the battery to mark exactly where material needed to be removed. - Charging Port: The charging port fit snugly into the original location. I through-bolted it to ensure it stays secure with continuous use. - Battery Securing: I used a single strap to hold the battery down and 3D-printed a bracket to prevent lateral movement. A thicker piece of plastic could work as well. - Monitor LCD Placement: The LCD monitor is glued to a metal bracket. I plan to flush-mount it into the dash later, so I wish it wasn’t pre-glued—but removing the adhesive should be simple. Final Thoughts: This battery delivers excellent performance at a great price. The long-lasting power and ease of installation make it a fantastic upgrade for any 48V Club Car Precedent. Highly recommend!

Replaced the lead acid batteries in my 2017 Club Car. Super easy to install, fits easily and works great. Much lighter and charges quicker than the original batteries. Had a problem about 6 months after I bought it and between the data on the app and on the battery monitor Vivi the customer service representative correctly diagnosed the problem, sent the replacement charger and followed up daily to make sure the problem was solved….Absolutely great customer service. I recommend the product and the company

I just wanted to put out my thoughts on the Cloud Energy GFA48V-105AH. Shipping was faster than expected. It took 5 days to reach me on the east coast from the west coast, even though the expected delivery date was 11 days after purchase. When the box arrived, it was packed very nicely using the kind of packing material that is the same consistency of a pool noodle. Everything had its own place and there was no damage. Very nicely done. They really seem to be take in account what golf cart consumers are looking for when building their products. The 250amp BMS with constant discharge 250A (400A for 35 seconds, 600A 3 seconds) is added bonus for my 400amp Alltrax Controller and D&D motor. This is the one with the ABS plastic shell, unlike others who glue theirs together, this one is screwed together like the metal shell ones. They have little plastic covers that go over the screw heads. The terminals where you attach power cable has 2 screw holes each for both positive & negative connections which is nice if you are attaching a lot of cables. My only complaint is that the battery doesn't have an on/off switch. Installation is pretty straightforward, on my Drive2, even though I just put it in the battery tray and used the ratchet straps tie downs to secure it. The display cable more than long enough to put just about anywhere on the cart. Performance is really good. According to the bluetooth app, I was pulling 219 amps from a dead stop just above the base of a very steep hill in my campground, and it pulled nicely with speed increasing all the way to the top. The instant power is so nice, pushing the cart to about 25mph, which is more than I would need. So far, with just a weekend of driving it, really pushing it to see if the battery would let me down, it came away with zero problems or hiccups. Very impressed with the product they are putting out, and hoping they stay around for a long time.
