Great fiber HDMI. Even with the length of this being considered a 'long run' it works well and provides a quick clear picture in full 4K. Highly recommend

started feeling guilty that i probably skimped on my hmdi cables after spending thousands on the rest of my gear (4k hdr projector, lumagen pro processor, high-end htpc, atmos receiver, etc., etc.) so i decided to upgrade after reading a very positive review at the avsforum about this particular cable, the review also gave this cable very high marks for longs runs (which i needed)... add to this, i absolutely love beldin cables (which bjc uses for these hdmi cables), at one point, many years ago, all of my audio and video cables were custom beldins with canare tips, the last for years and i couldn't recommend them highly enough. anyway i picked up this bjc 40-footer to use between my lumagen pro and 4k hdr projector, it replaced an amazon hdmi cable that was literally 1/6 the price ($25.99)... well this bjc failed almost immediately, first it was a matter of very thin, random, neon green static lines that ran left to right, followed by intermittent drop outs, where the screen would go completely blank as the signal was lost... i confirmed that i had the direction of the cables right, i did, and then reseated them several times in the hope that it was just a loose connection... well nothing worked so back they go. it really wouldn't have been that big of a deal except that the 40-foot run is a pain in the arse to deal with - so i had the pleasure of installing the run along a 20 foot ceiling, and then the pleasure of taking it down, argh! the good news is that i had the foresight not to pull the cable it was going to replace... so after pulling the bjc i just plugged the cable back in and i was set! long story short, the cheap-o $26 cable that i bought on amazon, that claimed 4k@60hz, 18 gbps, 4k hdr, ethernet, etc., works like a charm, right out of the box, there was no need for me to see if the grass was greener with a $150 cable!

I've purchased multiple lengths of these HDMI cables and I think they work fantastic. Which is why i've replaced all my HDMI's with these. However, the 6ft. length I received today I have to complain about. The problem with the cable is a quality control issue. When you plug the cable into your device on both sides the heads are upside down. Meaning the writing (Name Brand and device side) is on the bottom and you can't see it. I have 5 of these HDMI's and this is the only one that this is built that way. So it's obviously an over site on the production side. And then it got through an inspection check before packaging. These are not cheap cables so this is not acceptable in my opinion. So then I start to question the rest of the quality of these cables. What else is being overlooked? I hope the company will do the right thing and replace this cable because I don't feel satisfied with this mishap.

This cable was my 3rd attempt to get a good feed from my 4k projector to my PC. The first one would sometimes cut in and out, and the second didn’t work at all. Did some research and noticed a few references to this one so gave it shot. More expensive than the others but it worked perfectly! Mine is a 50’ run for my golf simulator and I highly recommend this one.

I was on YouTube about a totally different subject but they were also mentioning the quality of the cables right? So I'm a part time brain surgeon so I can comprehend most of what they're talking about! They talked about the fiber optic cable and how it covers a wide range of frequencies ( don't ask me to elaborate) but I knew that my frequency was on the chart and I could improve my 50" Vizio just by upgrading the cables because even though it's not the economy Vizio, it's not the top M class either! So I paid the extra bucks and when they arrived and I pulled out the packages (I ordered two 6ft'ers) these cables are first class all the way. I mean you darn near have to put a suit on just to open the box and pull out the cables! I cut my DVR & tv off ( Xfinity) and swapped out the cables, but maaaan when I cut everything back on? Oh...my....GOD what a difference a fiber optic cable makes! Everything is soooo sharp and crisp, it's like I've upgraded my tv to a M class Vizio or a Samsung 4K, well almost but you get my meaning right? Folks you won't be disappointed for spending the extra money for these cables I'm telling you! I mean you've spent a bunch for everything else so you may as well get the best cables so you can get every bit of frequency flowing through the system! But wait there's more😳. My "Monsterbox X1 Max 3D 6K Android 9.0" just arrived this morning and this thing is a beast! I'm gonna upgrade to a little bigger & hopefully the M class I want will be cheaper around the Christmas holidays. But I digress and say to anyone reading this to invest in these Fiber Optic cables if possible because you reeeeally won't be disappointed!✌🏿

Did not work with Onkyo 7.2 Receiver and W2700 Benq 4K Projector. Tested on other sources and devices with no success, found it difficult to access support so have returned.

I was pulling my hair out trying to get my Epson Home Cinema 3200 4K, Denon Avr S750H Receiver and Apple 4K to work via a 25foot Monoprice 4K cable. To put it lightly I was going insane and pulling my hair out as to why I could not get a proper picture, no picture at all, just total darkness and confusion. It worked if I just plugged the hdmi cable from the apple tv to the projector directly, but no audio obviously. So I read the Denon manual, and it said for long runs you must use an HDMI fiber optic cable or a Cat5/6 Balun. It also said to use the HDMI port closets to the output port. This is where I was led to amazon and this product. I could not believe the high price tag, but if it did the trick I would regain my sanity. I spent days troubleshooting every possible setup and scenario with little success. I bought this cable on Thursday April 23, 2020 during this pandemic and received it early Saturday morning. I immediately opened it and did a dry run from my Denon receiver to the Epson Projector. It worked right away to go from 720P to 1080P. I then tried 4k and it failed on the first try, got a little nervous. But I restarted the Apple 4K and it went into 4k SDR on its own. I then tried 4K HDR, and it worked. Issue resolved. I then fished the cable through my my 1” conduit (thank god I did that) and tested again and it worked out again with no issues. Thank you, thank you, thank you, you have restored my sanity. This cable is the real deal and works as advertised. I know there were other fiber hdmi cables on amazon for a much cheaper price. But I decided I wanted no more issues or down the road problems. This cable will solve your issue if your run is long. I ordered the 33 foot cable, even though I only needed a 25 foot one.

this is not the first cable of this length (10m) I have ordered for my 4k bluray to projector, but it is the first to provide connection as one would expect. this cable is quite pricey, but is doing the job very well. came fast (overnight), quality seems good. smaller diameter cable made it easy to feed through ceiling channels for hidden routing and was very flexible. so far this cable has been great though only a week old and only a few movies in.
