I only have an EGO mower. Usually one charge is enough to do my front and back yard but sometimes, if it's overdue and the mower has to work harder it runs out before I can finish. I got this for those occasions and so far it's working fine.

Can’t beat it for the price. The OEM models of this range in the hundreds of dollars. This one is about a third of the cost. It has a very plastic key feel which makes it seem kind of cheap, but it is only $70. It has a very similar look and design of the OEM battery and has the same indicator lights. It charges just fine on the Ego charger and has worked well for me so far. I use this one on the leaf blower and it has worked great.

I like the gauge lights to indicate charge level. They're a lot more useful than a simple green/orange/red indicator. I've been using this in my leaf blower, and it's been working about the same as my Ego battery. I haven't noticed a difference in power, and it seems to run it for as long as my 2.5ah Ego battery, though I haven't timed it. It charges fine using my Ego OEM charger, and hopefully it will last as long as the OEM batteries.

I’m always glad to have another battery available. This doesn’t have the nice rubber feel of an actual Ego battery and it’s hard to compare usage time when it’s being used beside a name brand battery that has already been used a lot. Also, this is the smallest battery I have for my Ego ecosystem - the next smallest battery is a 4Ah. So far the biggest issue I’m having with it is I can’t get it to charge fully, out of the box. I’ve had it on a charger for a long time - much longer than even my 10Ah Ego battery requires, and it still isn’t fully charged. The charger I’m using is a CH2100, which is on the list of acceptable chargers to use. I did use it in my blower a little bit one day, though the battery level dropped significantly after just a little use. It was very cold out though (about 0 degrees F) so I’m giving it a pass on that first test. Even if it underperforms what I would think an Ego 3.5Ah would do, if it functions reliably I’ll be happy with it. So this initial inability to fully charged is unnerving for me.

Click to play video I currently have 2 EGO brand power tools. One is a leaf blower and the other a string trimmer. Usually, one battery will get me through most projects when using the leaf blower. However, I have roughly an acre of ground with a lot of weed trimming. One battery just won’t get the job done without needing a recharge. And, depending on the situation, even two batteries will run out of power before I finish the weed trimming. It takes quite a bit of time for one of these batteries to fully recharge, so I figured an additional ready-to-go battery to quickly swap out would be a good idea. The battery looks quite similar to the original. Out of the box, it had nearly a full charge (1 bar short of a full battery on the indicator). It snapped into my leaf blower with ease, and worked as it should. I only did a quick test, and discharged it enough to get it to about three fifths full (2 bars short of a full charge). I put it into my original charger and started a charge. It took roughly 30 minutes to get a full charge; however I did not see the moment it actually reached full charge. I would say it was a similar time frame to the original EGO battery. Unfortunately, because it is the dead of winter here, I cannot give this a full test. In season, I put my string trimmer to a good workout. At times, it takes about 2 hours to fully trim the full yard (lots of trees to trim around). I have some reservations, as this battery is about one-third to one-half the cost of a similar power OEM battery. Only time will tell how long the battery will last compared to the OEM (it has a 12 month warranty compared to EGO’s 36 months warranty). That said, I wanted this for the time saving convenience while waiting for a drained battery to fully recharge, so I can continue working without stopping to wait for a recharge. I’m only rating this at 4 stars currently. That is still a good rating, and I’m satisfied. Unfortunately, I don’t want to inflate this to a perfect 5 until I can give it a full test. It definitely doesn’t deserve less at this point. If you are looking for a low cost solution to serve a purpose just as mine, I think this would be a good choice.

56 volt, 3.5Ah replacement EGO battery. This battery is smaller in capacity then the OEM, but for the price it works as expected and gives you that boost if you need to finish a job for and the big battery went flat. The charge indicator doubles as a health status indicator. The included instructions indicate what the LEDs mean in relation to the health of the battery. Decent price, but could be better based on run times. Here is how I rate items: 5 Stars = Exceeds all expectations, A definite buy! (Very Rare) 4 Stars = Very good find, you should definitely give it a shot. 3 Stars = It works and functions as advertised. 2 Stars = A little scary, possibly OK, it may work out. 1 Stars = Avoid this product, not worth the effort.

This third party battery is a perfect replacement for my OEM battery that finally wore out. This battery fits, charges, and powers my Ego tools just as well as the original. The only unknown at this point is how long will it last. Probably just as long as the original; only time will tell.

This replacement battery is clearly not the same quality as the originals. You could tell that immediately by the weight of it, which is considerably lighter. It does fit well into our various tools, and the runtime is decent though also not as long as the originals. Because it is a good value, and because it works well and is lighter with some of our handhold tools, I would still recommend this quite a bit.
