When my wife asked for a dashcam for her car for her birthday I began researching them. After watching numerous videos on YouTube I quickly decided that I did not want a 'cheap' dashcam as the quality of the videos were basically useless in the event of an accident. However at the same time I did not want to break the bank either as now I decided to get one for my truck as well. So I decided that it needed to be priced under $150 for each and I needed to be able to install it myself. The 70mai A810 seemed to be the clear winner. The video quality appeared to be great, the reviews were very good and the cost, including the harness, came in just under my price max range. The units arrived quickly, were packaged very well and without damage. Again I began watching YouTube videos on how to install the units. In my mind it broke down into 3 parts; 1. Decide on placement of the cameras before beginning (this unit had front and rear cameras). I needed to decide on the path for the wires as to not interfere with airbags...VERY IMPORTANT! 2. Electrical; 3 connections are needed... 1 connection for continuous 12v power (required for Parking Mode), 1 connection for ACC 12v power (applies power when ignition key is turn to accessory or engine started and 1 connection to ground 3. Hiding all of the wiring The install in my GMC Sierra Extended Cab was straight forward and I ran into no real issues. I did spend an extra day coming up with how to mount the rear camera in the middle of the slider window and still be able to open and close the window. All of the wires were easily hidden and the install looked professional. My wife's Buick Envision was another story. I decided on the front and rear camera placements and had it approved by the wife (VERY IMPORTANT!). The electrical gave me some problems though. There were no extra fuses not in use that I could use. Also the fuse box was so small that I was unable to use fuse taps because there was not enough room to install them. So I ended up taking the car to an installer and had them run both 12v lines for me. After that the install went smooth and quickly. My wife was very happy with how the install turned out and gave me a thumbs up for approval. My wife and I are very happy with our dashcam choice. Video quality is great and the install looks professional. I installed the app running on each of our phones with no issues. We recommend the 70mai A810 dashcam

During my research for a dash cams for my 2013 VW Golf 4DR, I found an article by car & driver where they rated some dash cams and the 70mai A810 as one recommended ones. So I decided to give a try and so far I am happy with it. The recordings look good at 4K resolution and the front dash cam installation was easy for me. The rear camera is a bit more complicated. Pros: Front dash cam videos look great They offer a 4G hardwired kit (which requires a SIM Card service contract) you need to purchase with your supported cell phone carrier. cables are long enough. if you own a mini van you might need to get an adapter for the rear camera. Cons: I haven't found any yet, I have own the dash cam for 3 weeks only.

I bought this 4K dash cam for my car and I really liked it. The video quality is very clear, both during the day and at night, thanks to a special sensor called Starvis2. It records the front and rear of the car at the same time with good quality. It comes with built-in GPS that shows the car’s location and speed. It also has 4G internet, so you can view the footage on your phone from anywhere. When the car is parked, the camera keeps recording if it detects movement nearby. It’s easy to use and install. I think it’s great for improving car security. I recommend it!

I was shopping for "front+rear" dashcam and initially did not think this will become the "trial and error" experience for me. After getting some rear camera quality issues with top of the line WolfBox (returned) and then discovering totally unusable parking mode in VIOFO (high current draw in standby, returned), I watched half of YouTube and settled on 70mai A810. Please understand me well: I was not up to research project, I wanted to buy, install and be done... but given my prior experience in professional surveillance video market, I could not bend my mind into accepting first two brands limitations or quality concerns. A810 is not completely flawless in my assessment, yet it seems to be as close as it gets in the category of reasonably priced front+rear dashcams with Starvis2 sensors. Frontal 4K camera on A810 is flawless! Picture quality, dynamic range and motion fluidity are very very good. Rear camera is "OK", yet still very reasonable. The application for Android is the best from 3 brands I tested, yet I would not rate it as "great", more like "adequate". Still, it is usable and I see that programmers made their homework around optimizing control flow when connecting/disconnecting and getting around the recorded footage. If 80mai keeps improving it (which I greatly hope) - it may definitely get into "great" at some point. Now, some grievances. Installation is relatively straight-forward, but company hardware designers made some mistakes which could easily be avoided: - wires are quite thick, for no apparent reason (power cord caries 3 thin conductors, which would flow through half as thick cord easily, surprisingly rear camera cord is thinner, while likely having shielding to carry) - thick wires make for unnecessary hard to push between panels or next to roof-liner - rear camera cord made into right angle (very rightfully so!), yet power is straight USB-C (why?? it makes cord routing much harder!) - rear camera distance from the glass such that it's not trivial to get between the heater lines Software had its own set of issues: - I was not able to download SOME of fragments when bench-testing dashcam - I suspect this is happening around the "partial clip" recordings, as in-the-middle clips loaded fine to phone - Download speed over WiFi was abysmally slow: 2 minutes to download 1 minute clip I had the issue reported to manufacturer (not expecting much and preparing Amazon return), but it was promptly followed, they guided me through diagnostics download and informed next day that bug was identified and will be resolved in the next update. To me it sounded better than I expected and quite reasonable, especially considering that I can take SD card off and have my video-clips downloaded/merged on my PC. At this point, I decided that to compare to other two(highly review rated) brands I tried, I'm getting reasonably good hardware, tested work-around for the issue at hands and manufacturer who seem not to ignore customer concerns, so I decided it's a keeper. I hope not to get mistaken :)

Excellent Value for Money – Xiaomi Dash Cam I’m really impressed with the Xiaomi dash cam. For the price, the performance and design are absolutely outstanding. The video quality is clear both during the day and at night, and the wide-angle lens captures everything I need on the road. The sleek and minimalistic design fits perfectly into my car without being distracting. It's easy to install and use, with a very user-friendly interface. Honestly, for this price range, I don’t think there’s a better option out there. Highly recommended! Jinsu

Stops working for a while in the temperature more than 40° celcius, no need to buy extra parking kit. Instead we get the parking assistance wiring from local market, only two wires required to get the direct connectivity from fuse box. And parking kit is far cheaper in price at amazon.india. Good product so far.
