Samara Joy has become my favorite vocalist across all genres, including Barbra, Ella, and Cookie. Her voice is at once captivating, comforting, exciting and extraordinary. I’m thankful to my local jazz station, KBEM, for introducing her to folks like me. ☺️ As soon as this short CD was delivered, I had to listen. Each song is filled with, of course, JOY! But it’s too short! 😁 Hoping for more holiday songs in CD (I’m so old school) from this beautiful young woman.

First became aware of Samara when she won Best New Aritist, Jazz recently. What a dynamic voice and range. Got all of her recordings. Recommend this holiday addition now for the upcoming holidays. She is terrific and if you get a chance to attend one of her concerts, DEFINITELY DO IT,

If you have not purchased this record, then now is the time! It’s never too late! Samara’s voice is AMAZING! Her soulful sound will remind you of Ella Fitzgerald or Billie Holiday! This young lady is super talented and I am looking forward to seeing her in concert this Spring. As a classic music lover, I still purchase CDs of artists whose work I think will live forever; not just in the ears and hearts of listeners, but also in our hands. Music that can stand alone and goes beyond just downloads and likes on streaming services. While the album only has a few tracks, each one packs a punch of soul! #SupportTheArt

This Young woman has the voice and delivery that comes about once in a generation. She combines the best of many Jazz female vocalist of the past century. A true joy!

Lovely holiday CD and it’s clear Ms. Joy is quite talented. I gave it 4 stars vs 5 stars as it is skimpy on songs. Not even 30 minutes of music.

Never disappoints this young lady takes you back to Ella,Sarah Vaughn, . A holiday must have indeed!

Traveled from Denver to New York City to attend her performance at Jazz at Lincoln Center. What a gift the girl has. Move over Ella and Sarah, there's a new artist vying for best jazz singer.

Samara Joy's rich voice and playful musicality are a joy in this recording. While there are only 6 songs, I loved it and have happily added it to my mix for the holiday season.

Musik und Interpretation sind sehr gut. Für weihnachtliche Stimmung absolut empfehlenswert. Aber: Eine CD für 15,00 € - und nach 25 Minuten ist Schluss ! Kann es sein, dass Samara Joy keine weiteren Weihnachtslieder im Repertoire hatte ?? Man fühlt sich verarscht.
