โ โ Price Point / Value: 5/5 โ โ Quality: 5/5 โ โ Recommendation: 5/5 โ โผ Overall: 5/5 โ โบProduct Need: Professional wine cooler โ โบProduct Pros: Heavy duty, wine pull out racks, dual climate, quiet, lockable, LEDs โ โบConsiderations: 28 wine size bottles โ โบMy Review: This wine fridge exceeded my expectations. It came in a freight shipped box as this weighs 70 pounds of heavy metal for its compact size. It is beautifully displayed in my house, but can definitely see this in any restaurant or bar with its professional flair. It can hold 28 bottles of 750ml wine sized bottles, with a couple of champagne sized ones at the bottom, or you have the option to remove shelves as well if need be. The drawers smoothly slide out to pick the right bottle with a LED emitting upon open. The accuracy of the dual temperature seems perfect and quick to cool, without any fridge like noise. It comes with 2 keys to lock it, which is perfect for anyone with kids or expensive items. The control panel is easy to find your perfect sweet spot for what you need chilled between 40-70 degrees. I highly recommend this cooler due to its high quality feel, look and quality for your liquor cooling at home or work.

Click to play video REVIEW: Aaooboai 28 bottle dual zone 15โ wide wine cooler, about $600. Very well packed for shipping. Very heavy upon delivery 99 pounds! Once unpacked, itโs hard to maneuver around because thereโs not much clearance from the bottom of the case to the floor. So your fingertips are in jeopardy, unless you drag it around the floor with some cheap potholders or something underneath. The instructions say if you move it full, you may destroy it. Bordeaux! Bordeaux! Bordeaux! Bordeaux versus typical North American size bottle: If you shop for a lot of California or Chilean wines, the bottles are much larger than Bordeaux (France) and you can fit maybe only 18 or 20 inside. I canโt emphasize that enough, even though other people have emphasized it enough. I thought that the bottles I normally buy from the shop are Bordeaux-size bottles, but theyโre much larger. The bottom shelf is shorter than the other shelves, as the compressor for the wine cooler sits behind it. You wonโt get ANY long bottles in there at all. The smaller upper zone is the cooler zone for whites. The larger bottom zone is the warmer zone for reds. Solidly made, I like the four fans, and the charcoal filter, which you should replace every 12 months. and with the blue LED light on: really sexy and atractive. The compressor versus thermal electric was critical for me as we donโt cool the downstairs, and the temperature can vary 20 degrees daily from the 60s to the 80s Fahrenheit. So I wanted to protect my wine with this cooler, and I donโt think the thermoelectrics would do as well in the heat. One thing I didnโt like straight away: I stripped the screws that attach the door handle to the cooler. Itโs an awkward geometry to put those in, including peeling back the silicon/rubber gasket that seals the front door. They should re-engineer that. The screws are cheap Chinese soft metal screws, so if you try to apply pressure youโll just strip the heads. So, door โon,โ and a bit โrattley,โ but good enough. If youโre thinking about getting a wine cooler, you probably have more wine than you think. So there are a couple of models in the market specifically tailored to what a North American might buy: the LARGER than Bordeaux bottles. And there are some models that are single zone and nicely fit 26 bottles for about $200. I might consider getting one for just whites and another one for just reds, for a total of about $400 To truly hold 52 bottles, versus $600 for truly only about 20 bottles. And thereโs something wrong with the Feng Shui, about โstuffingโ wine bottles in a smaller cooler. Not quite an elegant feeling: they should have some elbow room. Again if theyโre all French Bordeaux size it would indeed be 28. I think this is really designed as a pretty showcase cooler to hold, have handy, and show off a few of your favorite whites, and maybe three or four of your favorite reds, about two bottles each; to have a nicely presented and ready for a little company. Because it IS really pretty and the detail with the wood frontage on the shelves is nice. The drawer systems are very nice quality, mechanically. The overall interior design, and lighting is really sophiaticated and cool. So in that role, it excels. For a strictly utilitarian use as a cooler, itโs overpriced, too small, and too fancy. Buy two single zone coolers, designed for larger bottles, with stainless steel racks, one for reds, one for whites, in that case. Although Iโm pissed off about the stripped screws in the door handle, as itโs elegant and beautiful and otherwise well-made; and the manufacturer emphasizes for Bordeaux size bottles (it being my fault I didnโt realize Bordeaux bottles were smallIer than what I typically buy). I will give it a five out of five stars for what I believe itโs intended purpose is: a beautiful, dual zone, well-displayed and well-made cooler to have a few of your favorites handy in an elegant presentation.

Update: It's been 18 months since my purchase. It still works well, runs very quiet. I don't know if I could fit 28 bottles of wine in here, at best I can place 3 bottles of various sizes on each shelf. Most important I can fit 3 bottles of champagne on the bottom shelf! I keep the upper level for whites at 42 degrees F and the lower level at 54 degrees, mainly for the champagne which I think is a close to perfect temperate to enjoy. I'm not a big red wine person and in general I will usually take the bottles out and let them adjust to come up in temperature for a few minutes before indulging. I also place coffee and my margarita mix cans in here for easy access and more room in the fridge. Works well to keep them cool or cold. Still a great purchase. No regrets. It took me over a month to finally decide to purchase. I drink more white than red wine, and this replaced a smaller unit I had that died a very loud death. Box, once it was no longer bouncing between two warehouses in S. CA, did get here a week later. I wish I would have taken a picture of the packaging, but it was well packed, and as a previous reviewer stated, its like 70 lbs but much better to move around once you get the box off. Door handles were easy to install. I have it set up to chill right now for 24 hours, I will let you know how well it cools when I come back in a month or so. It came as measured, just a tad under 15 in wide, which is great because I ended up buying a new granite remnant and it fit perfect, both giving me about an inch of space to the corner of the wall. There is a picture of the damage, which I wish would have happened on the other side but I will see it less and less with the granite top. I also took a picture of where the cord is on the back. This was a different placement from my old smaller one which had the beginning of the cord tucked under the unit. This one begins right at the outer edge of the back. With quarter round at my floor moulding I have a bit of room. But the cord is not that far from the bottom of the unit. Also as stated by the manufacturer the plug is not flat, no worries for me since my outlet is not right behind the fridge, but that may be an issue for some as you will need additional space to properly plug in. So far I like it. Will let you know how well and how I ended up storing my champagne bottles (probably third row down with the reds).

Bought this unit to have my wine at the perfect temperature. Fit exactly in a space previously for an icemaker. Easy to install and very clear instructions. I have had it for 18 months without any issues. I set the white wine for 42 degrees and the red for 64 degrees. Having a dual refrigerator for wines is the only way to go. The temperature for both has been exactly right for the time I have had it. Well built and looks great. Nice touch with the light blue lighting and viewing of the lights. Easy pull out racks. Would definitely recommend the unit and absolutley no regrets in purchasing it.
