I'm weigh in over 200lbs and this little stool is way sturdy. Folds flat and easy to store. Simple to use and no place for finger to get pinched. I keep one in the pantry and one in each of the bedroom closets. Just enough extra reach to get that stuff off of a tall shelf. Price is right and lots of color choices.

It's great to find a stool that is tall but not wide. Unlike most stools it fits in a narrow kitchen cabinet. Assembly was easy with good instructions. Easy to fold & unfold. Feels strong & stable enough for me (120lb) for occasional use, however it might not hold up well to heavy usage with heavy people. Only reason I don't give a 5 is it arrived broken. It was in a box with other items and no packing material. Luckily the broken piece does not seem to impact the stability.

Love this step stool. I have been using one in my barn as a seat when I milk my goats. I bought a second one. It’s light weight but sturdy and stable . It’s easy to carry around because it folds up when you pick it up by its handle. Folds flat so is easy to store.

I love this stool! I've had the shorter version of this one forever and when I saw this taller version... it was a no brainer. This height is perfect for me for the top closet shelf... especially for all of my shoes stacked in their boxes. haha. I'm 5'6" and this stool is just the right height for reaching the top box and because this stool is so light, and easy to unfold, I can keep it handy in my bedroom. The fact that it folds flat, I slide it next to my dresser, prop it up under the window and an entire host of places and it's out of the way. I don't have to walk away, i just grab it and can get my shoes and finish getting ready and be done. It's awesome. The price it great too.... I can have multiples of these all over the house! This height is pretty good for if you need to sit and work on something at a low height too. Instead of having to squat, kneel or sit on the floor... I sit on this. Saves the knees and your bum sitting on the floor. It really is a convenient little stool. Is it perfect for performing crazy fix-it operations for long durations over your head? Maybe not. But for all those quick, grab something off a shelf or put something on a shelf or hang something. These are fantastic and I use them all the time. They are just the best! And how can you go wrong with those polk-a-dots?! Super cute! (EDIT: 2/3/23 to fix typos)

After suffering a meniscus tear in my knee a few years ago while trying to get up from a 9" high plastic stool, I looked around the house for a temporary seat to use while cleaning out the 4 litter boxes we have. Yes, as the photos show, I ended up with a cat litter tub that I quickly discovered HAD to have some cushioning, but even with various rugs, towels, etc., it was often as unstable as it was uncomfortable. After checking out several hardware & household goods stores, I stuck with this contraption for too long...Back to Amazon, where I found this sturdy, affordable, & easy to use folding stool. When it arrived, I tried it out right away, & found out it's a perfect height for my 5"2" body with arthritic knees. It folds up & back out easily, plus it takes up much less space than that dang litter tub. Yes, if I need to sit on it for more than 10-15 minutes, I need a pad for my tush, but it's exactly what I need.

I bought it for my father, but to my surprise, the stool is highly unstable. When one sits on it, it trembles and gives an insecure/shaky feeling. Very disappointed.
