I never thought I’d be raving about an ice machine cleaner, but here I am! I use a countertop nugget ice maker every day (I’m a little obsessed with that “Sonic-style” ice), and after a few months, I started noticing a weird taste and cloudy ice. I did some research and came across the ACTIVE Ice Machine Cleaner and Descaler, and wow—what a difference! The tablets are super easy to use. I just dropped one into the water reservoir as directed, ran the cleaning cycle, and let the magic happen. Within one treatment, the funky taste was gone and my ice looked clearer than it had in months. I also love that these tablets are nickel-safe—my machine is not cheap, so I was really careful about what product to use. The fact that this is a 1-year supply (24 tablets!) for under $20 is incredible. I clean once a month, and I can tell it’s already making my machine run more smoothly. Bonus: no weird scent or chemical smell—just fresh, clean ice. If you own any kind of ice maker, especially a countertop or nugget style, do yourself a favor and grab this. Very good for what it does, it is super simple, just follow the instruction on the box, no, you do not need to scan that QR code. Understand this people, never, scan, random QR codes, if you go online and research the product you will see that the instructions on the box is exactly what you are suppose to do, so no need to scan the QR code, that should be it for your 101 on internet safety. The product is easy to use, safe to handle, just throw out water from the ice machine, refill with new water up to the fill line, put ice machine in clean cycle if it has it, if not, just let the ice machine run as normal, afterwards throw out the water, clean the machine from the inside from the debris that the table will pull out, refill the machine again, let it go through another clean cycle, if you are paranoid like me, throw out the water again, refill again, and go through another clean cycle, then throw out again, and refill for the final time, this is not a difficult process.

This is an amazing product. There was so much buildup in my ice machine I was thinking of buying a new one. I tried everything. I tried scrubbing it away nothing was working and this was the last option. Within the first cleaning cycle I would say 85% of the build up came off. Truly and amazing product. I did a couple cleaning cycle to make sure it was all gone. Now my ice machine looks brand new. I would buy this again.

I was very impressed with this brand. After one cleaning cycle (2 cycles is recommended) I could tell a difference. Once the second cycle was finished I dumped the water/cleaning solution out and I could not believe the stuff that came out of my ice machine! I highly recommend giving this product a try! It’s affordable and 100% gets the job done!
