For the money, a very good vacuum. Does the job, my pool is 32 x 15 and vacuum covers it pretty good, not perfect but doesn’t cost much. Very easy to clean. Always a few places in corner or end that I have to clean with hand vacuum, 10-15 minutes. Worth the money, does what I need.

We’ve only used this a few times so far in our shipping container pool. It’s easy to use and seems to do a good job picking up dirt and debris.

I wanted to leave a five star review for this vac. I thought it was going to work like a champ, but it doesn't. It stops just short of being a good one. I'm a pool vac (amateur) expert and I've spent countless hours with many, many pool vacs, trying to find a good one - one I can depend on to just DO THE JOB. I don't mind doing my part but I need a good vac and I'm so disappointed in this company. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. Signed, An Informed Opinion

This is my 3rd Aiper and my 2nd robot. I have one much bigger one that I wore out. The top wont lock on to thr bottom anymore...This design is so my better. I get little dirt sludge divets in my 28' above ground in the country with lots of trees and dust.. This canister holds super fine sediment. Never seen a pool vacuum get the sandy stuff! This is a must own for me! Best tool.EVER.

i'm updating my review after customer service reached out to me when my first machine failed after a few short months. They sent me an upgraded machine free of charge and it actually works much much better than the original purchase. I would recommend purchasing the seagull model, which is far superior in performance than the entry-level model. This machine worked wonderfully, at first. After a few months it stopped charging, so I went through the warranty repair process and they fixed the machine and sent it back after approximately 2 weeks total. After using it 2 times, the machine is having issues again. Not sure what to do at this point, I really need this to clean the pool but it seems unreliable and not made well enough to last. I'm going to reach out to tech support one more time to try to get this resolved.

The product is awesome and it meets my need on cleaning the bottom of my pool. Would recommend this product to anyone with an above ground pool.

It picks up bigger debris with ease (leaves etc) but the dead algae that is on the bottom, it won’t pick up at all. I don’t know if it’s just stuck to the bottom or what. The little brushes on the bottom of vacuum are very fine and not stiff enough in my opinion to loosen up the algae. So I love it because it does pick up anything w size but hate that it won’t pick up the dead algae. Also it always comes back to the side of the pool and powers down which I love. Stays charged for a good bit also.

I would give this little gem a 30 star review if I could. On my second one (broke a plastic latch. My fault) Does a better job than the $600 one that decided to gonoff to vacuum heaven.

Click to play video My partner and I have a division of labour when it comes to our pool. She 100% enjoys it, I 100% maintain it! LOL Now, don't get me wrong, I don't begrudge her enjoyment one bit; I have things I enjoy that she doesn't, and I'm happy to maintain the pool because I know she enjoys it. There is one task that I don't enjoy, though, and that is vacuuming the pool! I'm a ginger and I'm just not cut out to stand out in the blazing sun for that long, so I look VERY forward to dropping this little fella in there next season! Unfortunately, the pool is closed up for the year, so I gave this a try in my bathtub (it was pretty fun, not gonna lie!) and I feel like I got a good idea of how this operates. The concept is simple, inlet ports on the bottom have little brushes that sweep along the bottom to stir up debris that is then pulled into the unit where it can't get past the filter screen. The clean water then exhausts through the top ports, which provide propulsion for the machine. Its not easy to see in the video, but I threw a handful of navy beans in the bottom of the tub and the vacuum sucked them up almost immediately and got the last couple on a second pass. It is much like the older style Roomba vacuums in that it doesn't do any mapping, it moves itself around at random and, after a period, it will have vacuumed the entire pool. It accomplishes this randomness by directing the clean water through one of the two exhaust ports for an amount of time, stopping, then exhausting water through the opposite port for an amount of time before switching again. The time interval keeps changing, which helps provide that random movement and coverage for the device. This random pattern cleaning worked for my old roomba, so I'm sure it will work for this vac too! (Much like my old roomba, I imagine that it will take a couple of cycles to actually cover every square inch of the pool, so running it more frequently than I would manually vacuum will be key to a clean pool.) Cleaning the filter is a snap, it lifts out and the unit and the filter can then just be rinsed clean. It also comes with a hook attachment for my cleaning pole which will make getting it in and out of the pool a snap. I'll update my review once I get the pool opened again in the spring and I've had a chance to put this in action, should I encounter anything that warrants it. Customer image

A great cheap alternative to the more expensive automatic cordless pool cleaners. Does a great job and also parks itself at the surface when done. Makes keeping my pool clean less of a job, that goes a long way towards making the owning of a pool enjoyable.

This is a simple and efficient pool cleaner. Works for about two hours to clean. Does a great job and beats having to manually do it! It feels well made and durable. So far it's holding up well. It's not very big so I don't think it would work in a very large pool, but for average backyard pools, it'll be great. It's expensive but there are far more expensive models on Amazon.

So with spring finally beginning, our pool has thawed and there is no more ice, leaving a dirty floor to be seen within our pool. Figured this would be a great test for this little new cleaner, since my old one died at the end of the last summer. Quite the looker, this little vacuum comes with spare wheels and inserts as well as a set of brushes that you need to slot underneath it. The charger is included and of course, different from my older one. Entry holes to pick up trash, are quite smaller than my older model and I am worried some maple leaves for example, which can get quite big, may end up clogging it. Time will tell. So charged it up to 100% and dumped it in the pool to see what it could do. So everyone knows, my pool is an above ground 21 feet pool (round) with a slight incline as most pools have from the middle of it towards the edges. The description does not mention it, but the included instructions do mention, that this is not made for a pool with slopes, for example a inground pool with a deep end. You unit will get stuck at the bottom. I noticed that issue, with the little incline of my pool where going down towards the deeper end, unit will be fast. But going back up, it can hardly make it so ever slowly. Thus draining the battery quicker and not getting a full run i fear. The brushes, helped a little. But being again an above ground pool, with vinyl padded flooring, it is not perfectly even and thus not scraping evenly. I pulled it out twice within the run, to empty it out and was happy to find it had picked up quite a bit. So yes, a bit slow for my liking. But I can dump it in, do something else while it does its thing, and repeat the process when it is recharged.

Pros: 1. Cordless Design: The cordless functionality eliminates tangling and makes the cleaner safer and more convenient to use, especially in above-ground and flat pools. 2. Self-Parking Technology: This innovative feature ensures the cleaner automatically stops near the pool wall when the battery is low, making retrieval easier. 3. Portable and Lightweight: The compact design allows for easy transport and storage, making it ideal for quick cleaning sessions. 4. Efficient Cleaning: The vacuum effectively removes dirt, leaves, and debris, keeping your pool spotless without much effort. 5. Long Runtime: With a runtime of up to 90 minutes, it can handle pools up to 40 feet in length on a single charge. 6. Easy Maintenance: The filter basket is simple to remove and clean, ensuring the device stays in good condition with minimal upkeep. 7. Quiet Operation: Unlike many pool vacuums, this one operates quietly, so you can enjoy a peaceful environment while it works. Cons: 1. Limited to Flat Pools: The cleaner is designed for flat-bottomed pools and may struggle with uneven surfaces, slopes, or walls. 2. Not for Large Pools: While effective for medium-sized pools, its runtime and coverage may not be sufficient for larger pools or those with heavy debris. 3. Charging Time: The device requires several hours to recharge fully, which may delay consecutive cleaning sessions. 4. No Remote Control: It lacks app or remote functionality, so you cannot manually direct the cleaner to specific areas. 5. Debris Capacity: The filter basket, while easy to clean, might need frequent emptying for pools with heavy debris loads. Verdict: The AIPER Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner is an excellent choice for maintaining above-ground and flat-bottom pools up to 40 feet. Its cordless design, self-parking feature, and efficient cleaning make it a hassle-free option for everyday use. While it may not suit larger or more complex pools, its convenience, portability, and quiet operation make it a valuable addition to pool maintenance routines.
