This is a great CPU . I have built 2 computers pairing this with a B550 Motherboard, RX-580 graphics . Both turned out great they are both used for gaming and I there is no lag with all settings maxed . If I where to build another soon, I would buy another one of these . If its latter , I would buy AMD , They are clearly the best in every way , Price , performance and I have never had an AMD chip fail . Every AMD pc I have built ( several dozen at least) retires of old age , still working .

Bought this for my dad’s new budget PC since I do really like AMD process over intel. It’s my old PC and it’s an upgrade from a Ryzen 7 1700x as it’s a tad finicky now. It’s got plenty of processing power and the benchmark was very solid. The only issue was that I was putting it into a B350 chipset MoBo and while it stated that it was compatible, I forgot to update the bios and it would not post. This is more user error than anything. Eventually we got the bios to update after a few failed art attempts and now it works flawlessly. AM4 processors are always annoying to install, but I’ve done enough of them to know how to set the chip into the board with no issues. The thing runs games very well and the air cooler keeps it below 50°C on average when gaming. The fan is a tad noisy but it’s not too bad. Definitely a great budget CPU.

Great CPU for gaming,One of the best budget friendly CPU on the market! It was easy to install with the AM4 and the cooler worked flawlessly. Would recommend.

Great for an intro to pc building. I paired mine with an amd graphics card and with 1080p gaming I get great fps and man this is a beast when it comes to multitasking. It's really quiet and it's amazing when it comes to getting my work done I love it great choice for my first build.

this thing is pretty badass, I have reached 4.2ghz stable, (aio liquid cooler). if you are on a budget this thing wont miss. (You may consider spending $20 to get the next one up, but wasn't needed in my use case.)

This paired with a RX6650x gpu or nvidia equivalent is a great combo. Granted I only play World of Warships and for a while was hooked on fortnite, it's a budget build and the cpu is the best bang for the buck out there. Mine did come with a decent enough cpu cooler, with that in mind this cpu is roughly $50 If you watch comparison videos this cpu is usually within 30 fps of the 5800x3d. Anything over 90fps is a difference us non-pro gamers will ever see. If you do other things like working/converting videos as I do on my 5900x, this is not what you want. More cores is better when multi-tasking.

Great cpu no issues at all. Easy install on my B550 mother board. (not exact model) No intergated graphics, but that's why I purchased it. Fast 12 threads can run a server and game on my system at the same time. Good for playing The Finals, GTA V, Dead by Daylight, Minecraft with Shaders and modpacks, the Call of Duty series including Black Ops 6, Forza Horizon 4 + 5, and a lot of other games not listed. Also good for programing and running gradles from my limited experience. Also works well with Windows 11 and Manjaro Linux as I have it dual booting both. The cooler is quiet, but keeps it cool, and functions well under heavy load. No heat damage, no bent pins, and good amount of thermal paste preapplied.
