AMD truly outdid themselves with this processor—it demolishes everything I throw at it, delivering insane frame rates and buttery-smooth gameplay. This CPU is worth every penny and a future-proof choice for years to come. The 3D V-Cache technology is a game-changer, significantly improving efficiency and gaming performance. With 8 cores and 16 threads, it’s more than enough for both gaming and productivity. The base and boost clock speeds deliver exceptional single- and multi-threaded performance, making this chip a beast in every aspect. I haven't tested this in many other games yet, as I just finished my build earlier today, but so far, it's been great with Wukong. As you can see from the images, I upgraded from a Ryzen 5 5600x to this 7800X3D. While the jump in performance wasn't as large as other stuff like upgrading my GPU and RAM capacity from 16 GB to 32+, it is still nice to see a visible increase in FPS, especially the lows. I'd only recommend this type of CPU jump if you feel that your current one is a bottleneck, but even then, it might still be better to just stick with a higher-tier AM4 processor. The upgrade obviously requires a new motherboard that can handle AM5 processors so that means at a minimum, new RAM and some rebuilding on your part.

I have this and a 7900XT. This is always ahead and always powerful. Does everything I ask it to do. Great processor.

Bought this for my son's computer for his gaming. Excellent CPU for gaming, and delivers a great value! Paired with an RTX 3080, the system is fast and over a year later he has never been bottlenecked with the CPU.

Absolutely the best CPU available in the gaming market. I was on a i7-8700, and the difference is night and day. I mainly play squad which was causing my FPS and 1%L to drop during intense conflicts and this beast has no issue what’s so ever easily manhandling the CPU intensive tasks. I do recommend this over the other X3D’s for gaming as this model specifically has phenomenal performance making sure to utilize all cores keeping them active, and performing 100% out of box. The other X3D models do have some parking/scheduling issues leaving the CPU to not fully use benefiting extra cache they have with the price point they are at. (This only applies specifically for gaming) I fully recommend 7800X3D to anyone who wants actual hardware that performs MUCH better than any competitors or even your expectations. Make sure to pair with a good cooler/fan.

Best cpu out there in my opinion, it runs a little hot but with thw right ventilation and cooling you are good, I use it with my 4070 ti super and no bottleneck.

Después de mucho investigar y comparar, me decidí por el Ryzen 7 7800X3D para mi nueva build enfocada principalmente en gaming, y la verdad es que no decepciona en lo más mínimo. Este procesador es simplemente una bestia en lo que hace: ofrecer el mejor rendimiento posible en juegos, sin necesidad de irse a CPUs mucho más caras. El 3D V-Cache realmente marca la diferencia. En títulos como Starfield, Horizon Zero Dawn, Elden Ring o cualquier juego competitivo como Valorant o Warzone 2, los FPS son altísimos y estables, incluso en 1440p y 4K con una buena GPU (en mi caso, una RTX 4070). Lo más sorprendente es que logra esto sin calentarse tanto ni consumir tanta energía como otros procesadores de gama alta. Lo estoy usando con un cooler de gama media y se mantiene perfectamente por debajo de los 75 °C en carga. Además, al no tener núcleos híbridos como los Intel, no me he encontrado con ningún problema de compatibilidad en juegos o software. Para tareas fuera del gaming, como edición de video ligera y multitarea, también va muy bien. No es el más fuerte en productividad comparado con un 7950X, pero su equilibrio entre potencia, eficiencia y temperatura lo hace ideal para usuarios exigentes que priorizan el juego. En resumen: el 7800X3D es probablemente el mejor procesador de gaming calidad-precio del mercado hoy. Silencioso, potente, eficiente, y listo para durar varios años. Si tu prioridad son los videojuegos, no lo pienses demasiado: este es el procesador que estás buscando.

Sehr gute Performance und damals für einen günstigen Preis gekauft (370€), verglichen mit den Preisen, die der Prozessor heutzutage kostet (~420€). Er läuft zuverlässig und verbraucht dabei wenig Strom. Fürs Gaming einer der besten Prozessoren dank dem großen L3-Cache.
