I cannot believe how intimidated i was for so long to install a security system. Had I known how simple installation would be with the AOSU cams and base I could've saved myself all that anxiety. But I've got it now! Super simple instructions ensure you get it right the first time without all the confusion and profanity. Ample motion detection settings and privacy settings. Crystal clear viewing and playback. 3 different night vision modes. Sleep buttons on app for each cam for when you're working out in the yard. Immediate or intelligent modes for notifications. Solar batteries are at a constant 100%. Even low wifi signals do not seem to diminish instant alerts nor do they cause missed activity. I've since also purchased the AOSU Ultra cam doorbell because i love my system THAT much. I probably didn't even need the doorbell (i bought it just to be the coolest neighbor on the block) although in this day & age you never know. The cams are substantial, sturdy, and are removable to be able to charge them up if need be, using the included charging cable. But with the solar panels i don't need to do that. And knowing that they can be removed and brought inside during Florida's hurricanes is an absolute plus. Seriously, why wait? Take the plunge on these cams. The quality is amazing.

Click to play video I recently added Aosu Cameras, and I couldn't be more pleased. The image quality and signal strength are exceptional, far exceeding expectations. Connecting the cameras to the app is straightforward, and sharing the feeds with family members is effortless. The battery life has been impressive, even on cloudy days, and the motion detection is very sensitive. Reviewing all events on multi-view screen and recorded motion detections on the app is very easy. The Aosu app is highly user-friendly and allows downloading clips directly to my phone. With direct storage of videos on a locally installed micro–SD card, there's no need for any monthly subscription fees. Although the mounting screws could be sturdier, the cameras do alarm if tampered with. Overall, Aosu cameras offer incredible value with no monthly subscription required. Highly reliable and recommended!

I've had the Aosu 5MP Security Outdoor Camera for a while now, and I have to say, I'm really impressed. One thing I love is that there's no subscription needed—just set it up, and you're good to go. No hidden costs or monthly fees, which is a big win in my book. You can monitor Solar cameras, Doorbell, Indoor cameras all under a single app. You also get push notifications that are contextual to the event too. The absolute best part is that it's solar-powered. Installation was a total breeze—no need to mess with wires or worry about finding a power source. I just mounted it where I wanted, set up the solar panel, and it's been working perfectly ever since. However, I got an additional mount from Amazon, I installed it in my gutter and I could mount both the camera and solar simultaneously hiding all the wires. I was actually considering some other pricier, big-name brands, but after doing some research, I decided to give Aosu a shot. Honestly, I'm so glad I did! The video quality is super sharp. Ensure your camera hub is closer to the WiFi. **Pros:** - **No Subscription Required:** No monthly fees, which saves money in the long run. - **Solar-Powered:** Easy installation with no need for wiring or finding a power source. - **Good Video Quality:** Clear and sharp 5MP footage. - **Reliable Motion Detection:** Works well in most situations. **Cons:** - Motion-Activated Recording Only: It only records when motion is detected, and occasionally it might miss something. This product arrived extremely quickly, and all components were present and functional/undamaged in the box. It wasn't easy finding an outdoor security camera system that has all the features I was looking for: 1. doesn't require professional installation, 2. doesn't include a costly subscription, 3. includes local video storage - an easily accessed hard drive in my home, 4. doesn't need a hard wired power supply or periodic battery replacements. I wasn't expecting one product to fulfill all these requirements, particularly at this low price, as this one does. It was helpful to read other reviews before making my purchase. My expectations were realistically restrained, which made some frustrations a bit more palatable. For instance, I knew it would be easier to install by downloading the Aosu App before beginning. Also, there appears to be zero reason to buy this system if you don't have a recent smartphone. I downloaded the Aosu App to my Mac, but, it is extremely limited; it does not give me full functionality and contains some weird glitches. YOU MUST HAVE A SMARTPHONE AND GOOD WI-FI to fully make use of this system. The 4 cameras were already holding a 50% battery charge upon delivery. This was a good thing, because it allowed me to check that they functioned normally on the App before mounting them outside. Installation was very straightforward, and relatively simple. Installing the home base was simple, and Wi-Fi connecting the cameras was completely trouble-free. All 4 cameras connected easily and maintain their connections to the home base without a hitch. I have 2 cameras facing the street, plus one toward my front door, and one at the rear of the house. There is good news and bad news about the images from these cameras. The good news is that the field of view is exceptionally wide, easily allowing cross-camera images from the 2 street facing cameras, and a view of my side gate and the back of the house appearing on screen with the rear camera. The bad news is the trade-off - there is considerable "fish-eye" distortion in the image. Also, even at a distance of about 30 feet, resolution is so bad, that reading license plates or identifying details of any vehicle or faces is near impossible. This is the newest version of this system, using 5G instead of 2.4G, as the older one did. Aosu claims enhanced resolution, but, I find it is pretty bad. This is one of the trade-offs I was expecting. Without going into too much detail, I must say that App is not very intuitive, and it takes some time to get used to the many commands necessary to find every menu or the countless settings included with the App. Also, not every feature works the first time when I use the touchscreen on my phone. Sometimes it is necessary to reload or reverse the commands to get to a previous menu, before it allows me to interact with the one I'm trying to work with. Some of the nicest features, like 2-way audio and adjustment for alarm and notifications, don't work as easily or as completely as I had hoped. So far, the alarms and night lighting features work well. Thankfully, the cameras' alarms, and App/phone notifications can be silenced or adjusted. I have already discovered that not all events are recorded. There were 4 separate events, last night, that should have triggered recordings, but I only found 3. I'm not sure what the minimum time-on-camera is required to trigger a recording or alarm. There is a real-time delay of about a full second between the camera and the phone App. I like that the battery levels can appear on the home screen. You must choose this option in settings, but nothing is easy to find. Adding an additional user was easy enough. I saw that some users had no trouble with this camera system until after a few days or weeks had passed. I will report back in 6 months, or if problems develop earlier. December 13, 2024: The cameras still work great, and I have encountered no charging problems, no loss of video signal, nor any other new issues. If you want a camera that has the resolution to pick up license plates from more than 10 feet away, good luck. These are not the cameras for you. Even being able to identify the brand of car parked across the street is impossible, and that is something I am extremely good at. The phone app is very fussy, and quite difficult to access a single camera quickly after receiving a notification. I have turned down (or off) audible notifications for some of the cameras, due to frequent false-alarms, like passing vehicles on the street and pedestrians on the sidewalk, or dogs and cats. It is hard to learn how to use the multiple steps to access one camera, especially if you just want to check the view, rather than respond to a notification. Finding and viewing the latest clips is easy, but the delay before recording begins for an event is annoying. However, I can't imagine that any competitor has eliminated this problem. I don't go into my older video clips very often, but, appreciate the ability to format the hard drive (eliminating all clips), to increase storage space.

Ich finde das 2er Set Überwachungskameras von aosu rundum gelungen und insgesamt gut verarbeitet. Man kann sie überall anbringen, wo man sie benötigt und braucht dann nur noch die entsprechende App, um alle Funktionen nutzen zu können. Dank der gut funktionierenden Solarpanel wird hier keine Stromquelle benötigt. Außerdem ist sie mit Alexa sowie Google kompatibel und hat einiges an Funktionen zu bieten. Die Bildqualität ist sowohl bei Tag als auch im Dunkeln dank der Infrarotkamera sowie des eingebauten Blitzes überraschend gut/klar. Mit dem zwei Wege Talk kann man über ein eingebautes Mikrofon/Lautsprecher (wenn nötig) sogar auf die Entfernung kommunizieren. Auch die Breite der Sicht ist durch den 166° Ultraweitwinkel hervorragend, so hat man doch einiges im Blick. Ich werde jetzt hier aber nicht alle technischen Möglichkeiten einzeln benennen, denn das würde den Rahmen sprengen und ihr müsstet zu viel lesen. Die einzelnen Spezifikationen kann man ja noch mal in der Produktbeschreibung des Herstellers nachlesen. Fazit: Ich bin rundum zufrieden mit der wertigen und gut durchdachten Überwachungskamera von AOSU. Außerdem finde ich das handlich schicke Design und die einfache Installation praktisch.

Estupendo kit de cámaras 5MP UHD de aosu de vigilancia con funcionalidades fenomenales y algunas limitaciones importantes que han solucionado. Cuento con un kit similar, con las cámaras de 2MP que uso desde hace más de un año, por lo que he reutilizado la misma base que admite hasta cuatro cámaras, añadiendo estas dos nuevas unidades que no solo mejoran la calidad de imagen aumentándola a 5MP sino que además cuentan con el panel solar adicional permitiendo una recarga inalámbrica, no necesitando recargarlas una vez cada 45 días. Mi valoración es muy positiva, comenzando con la facilidad de configuración y uso, con unas instrucciones muy claras y un sistema de guiado y configuración inusualmente sencillo y bien cuidado, con una traducción al español de bastante calidad, lo que me parece un punto extremadamente positivo a su favor para aquellas personas que no esperan complicaciones. Tras descargar la App de Aosu y crear una cuenta en su plataforma podemos desde ella añadir y configurar tanto la base como las dos cámaras. Durante este proceso: - La propia aplicación comprueba si la versión del firmware de la base y de las cámaras esta actualizada a la última disponible, y en caso de existir una versión más moderna, procede a actualizarlas de forma automática, que ha ocurrido en mi caso. - Se realiza una medición de calidad de señal, en mi caso teniendo la base dentro de un mueble la calidad es de un 90%, lo cual está muy bien y es más que suficiente para el streaming en alta definición Para poder conectar la base a Internet es obligatorio conectar está mediante un cable ethernet a un switch o router que le provea el acceso a internet, estableciendo un enlace de 100 MBits, el cual llama la atención que no sea de 1 Gbit. La calidad de las cámaras es excepcional, contando con una lente gran angular cuya apertura permite capturar un área muy extensa con pocos metros de distancia, tienen un peso que llama la atención, probablemente por las baterías que contienen para ofrecerle la autonomía que ofrecen. Incluyen un soporte orientable, así como los tacos y tornillos correspondientes, siendo este una de las limitaciones que encuentro, ya que no se puede instalar la cámara con un codo que permita un Angulo de 90º, lo que se suple en parte con su gran ángulo de visión de 166º. Para las situaciones en las que la cámara capta zonas de la vía pública donde se quiere añadir privacidad, desde la aplicación se pueden añadir zonas para aplicar máscaras, lo que es necesario cumplir con la normativa de protección de datos, siendo este otro punto a su favor, así como ajustar niveles de sensibilidad y áreas específicas donde queremos que actúen los sensores dentro del área de visión para minimizar falsos positivos. Las cámaras pueden grabar de forma local para evitar pagar subscripciones, pudiendo también grabar en el cloud si se desea utilizar las ventajas que aporta mediante diferentes modelos de suscripción y precios, así como capacidades avanzadas como reconocimiento facial de personas para evitar lanzar alarmas cuando estas con conocidas. En su modalidad de grabación local, los videos se almacenan, junto con los metadatos asociados, de forma encriptada dentro de los 32 GB de almacenamiento que contiene la base, de forma que en caso de que las cámaras sean manipuladas o incluso robadas, las grabaciones no se verán afectadas. En el pasado la aplicación tenía un problema ya que para poder acceder a las grabaciones de la base era necesario que la cámara estuviera accesible, produciéndose un error cuando no lo estaba, afortunadamente este ha sido uno de los cambios que han incluido en estos meses con las actualizaciones de firmware y de la propia App, motivo por el que les doy 5 estrellas, ya que encuentro igualmente importante a la calidad del kit, la calidad del soporte y mantenimiento que se le dé posteriormente. Otros puntos para considerar: - Es posible emparejar a la base que se incluye con las videocámaras otras que usen también base, no siendo posibles para aquellas que son completamente independientes grabando localmente en una tarjeta SD, ni tampoco agregar otros dispositivos de la marca como puede ser un timbre que requiere su propia base inalámbrica. Es posible comprar cámaras adicionales con soporte de base si se quiere ampliar hasta las cuatro unidades que puede gestionar una base. - No cuenta con radar (solo PIR, es decir, un sensor pasivo infrarrojo), lo que hace que la capacidad de filtrar falsos positivos para personas y otros elementos que puede capturar la cámara a cierta distancia es menos sensible y precisa. - El almacenamiento de 32GB es mediante eMMC (a pesar de que en la App y en la caja se indica SD) que va soldada dentro de la base, por lo que no se puede ampliar la memoria a una mayor capacidad.
