Bought this for my prime weld 285 because the 15 ft one that came with it is too long sometimes. I had to modify the connector for the trigger control nbd ( 2 pin contact) I ran .035 at 26 volts at 550 ipm did ok . Not as heavy duty as the torch that came with the welder but for the price can’t beat it ! We will see how it holds up.

This MIG cable and Torch unit is a quality product. Generally a replacement liner and contact tip renews your cable and torch to almost new. Now if your trigger mechanism is not operational, that is a different story. A quick and simple replacement is this compete unit. Replace everything at the power supply. This is a quality unit at an economical price. Simply plug it in, feed the welding wire through the cable and out the torch, cut the wire about 1/4" from the tip and start welding. A quick simple repair. Much quicker than parts replacement. In the field... keep a spare on hand for a quick switch and back to the job. I recommend this unit.

Used with my Miller 251 MIG welder for running .023 wire. Gun would constantly bird nest at the slightest problem at the contact tip. Could not correct with repeated adjustments of nozzle stick out and adjusting tensioner for alignment issues. I bought the 10' gun just for using .023 wire due to the shorter length. After giving up on this gun tried calling their tech support several times with absolutely zero response. I reverted back to my 15' HTP gun and it runs perfectly along with my Miller gun. I would recommend not buying from this company, not because of problems with the gun, but for their lack of any customer support, in my case.

Got a Mig Lincoln Wirematic 255 - Having a issue with my whip. replace it with this unit & never work that good before. highly recommend.
