Good modem, after searching for a modem that would work with COX 150mbps this one works like a charm. It has 4 ether ports which makes it even better and was able to install it within 10 minutes with Cox tech sup

I bought the WIFI modem ARRIS because they said it was good and reliable but after 6 months it does not keep the signal have the time and you have to keep resetting it, and good luck if you keep the internet for a long time. I called support and they tell me it is out of warranti and if I want to buy their service for $249.00, so I would say do not buy the ARRIS wifi modem.

The linked connections are great. No problem. The setup is fine. Easy to understand and pretty well laid out. . But the wireless range is not what it should be. My upstairs computer gets dropped daily. It's only 68 feet from the router

I bought this to replace an aging router and dated Comcast cable modem. It works like a champ! No more $10 monthly payments to Comcast for a leased gateway. Setup was easy for me, but I'm not sure it would be intuitive for a novice user. I loved the online access capability since I'm my family's help desk. If anything breaks, it's bound to happen while I'm at work or out of town. I can easily log in and make changes or troubleshoot from anywhere. I would have given five stars but for two things: The wifi signal is okay, but not as strong as I would like. It also has profiles saved for dynamic DNS services, but had trouble with No-ip.com, a pretty common free service.

My cable provider informed me that my cable modem was outdated so I replaced it with this unit. My former configuration of cable modem plus wireless access point was throttling my achievable Internet bit rate. On the same cable service level I now see at least 50% more throughput. I also appreciate the more complete control provided by the management interface. It is interesting to see a list of all the devices accessing my network. I don't use the extra features but this interface also gives me access to firewall capabilities. There are parts of the management interface that don't work, or don't work as expected. There is a section called "Operations" that doesn't do anything. There are two sections of listings of devices active on the network, one for 5G, the other for 2.4G, but only the 2.4G section shows any active devices even though I know that my devices are attached to the 5G network. Overall satisfaction is high with only minor complaints about the management interface.

First of all, I want to give credit to BlueDealz for responding so quickly when FedEx lost my package for one day. They called up and were very nice and concerned. Hats off to them. The Arris Surfboard SBG6900 AC1900 is PERFECT for Preferred 100mb plus service. I'm now getting about 127mb max on the 100mb service and the WiFi is great. I actually don't have any AC WiFi devices yet, but my N devices work fine at my present service. The Modem/Router options are vast, not necessarily everything I would want, but enough. All 16 Down channels bonded, all 4 Up channels bonded. I'm with Cox Cable and this Modem is Refurbished, yet the MAC address had no issues at all, thank god for that. The only downside I have seen yet is that the USB ports are 2.0 vice 3.0, but that's just due to the year of manufacture. This Modem is big, so adjust for that when you plan to buy. The packaging was flawless, looked like new. The device itself has no defects at all. The box's label had incorrect info on it, but you should never trust that anyway. Always use the status page on the device itself. I'll add more as I screw with it over the next few days/weeks. This is a good buy at $99.00 for refurbished, BUY from BlueDealz, they are the BEST.....

Set up was quick and easy. I followed the instructions from XFinity to set up and was up and running in minutes using my iPad. Great signal and speed!
