This one fails on basic function: to stay in place in ordinary use. The magnet is too weak; and I was constantly picking the foams up from the ground, or the floor, or worse. The foams will never stay in place. The foam material itself appears to be too rigid, and does not completely close on the ears, making the wearability a bit off -- even though this offset does not appear to affect the sound/noise canceling property of the overall device (which I think only reflects the electronic function of the headphones themselves, and not the propriety of its fit or foam). The least the maker can do is make the thing stay in place. I am surprised no other "user" has remarked on this: they must be keeping the thing on 24/7, or they have really small ears, or they are just too preoccupied to write-off on a $20 purchase. Some regret. Won't repeat.

I got these airpod max cushions as a replacement to my original ones. They are comfortable on the head and look good enough but the quality of them is extremely poor. The magnets are extremely weak and it barely stays on the headphones. They fall off easily even if I'm just picking up my headphones. On top of that in the 2-3 months since Ive purchased it, the fabric completely came off of the cushions and they are no longer usable. I was expecting something better quality than this for $20. Will be purchasing different cushions elsewhere.

First the magnet that is supposed to hold it in place is not strong enough, and it just falls out easily. Second, despite the magnet being weak, the glue that is supposed to hold in place is not strong enough to do so.

Click to play video I got these to use as a second pair so I can wash and keep clean. My air covers. These are just as comfortable as the original Apple covers and wash well and fit perfectly. I wear my headphones during the workout and the covers get wet with sweat so instead of using one pair over and over I have two pairs so I can wash each one individually and have another set to be wearing They do not impact the sound quality and they are overall a great deal

Absolutely terrible quality. Avoid at all costs. There is zero sound isolation — you hear everything around you louder than the actual audio. The magnet that’s supposed to hold the ear tip in place is laughably weak — the tip falls off with the slightest movement. It’s beyond frustrating. Feels like the product was never tested before release. Worst purchase I’ve made in a long time, even if it wasn’t expensive. Complete waste of money and time. Save yourself the headache

Like most people I’ve discovered that the cushions on the AirPods Max are not easy to clean and thought I’d give 3rd party replacements a shot. These are cheap, nasty things that feel terrible and simply don’t belong on headphones that cost what they cost.
