After buying the Aiper Scuba S1, I saw the Aiper Scuba S1 Pro, and probably would have spent the extra for the sensors, and the rollers on the front and rear. I would still like to try the Pro, however I am extremely happy with the Aiper Scuba S1. I will mention that I have had two corded robotic pool cleaners from one of the most famous brands, so am not new to these units, though this is my first cordless one. I was a bit apprehensive, as I figured the cordless could not be as good as the corded ones, as some had mentioned the corded ones have more power. I have not found that to be the case however, as this Aiper is loaded with power, and competent cleaning capabilities. In fact, after using this for several weeks I can honestly say this cleans much better than either of my former corded robotic pool cleaners. Those units always had areas that did not clean well, specifically the rounded corners, and also my bench. The Aiper Scuba S1 cleans those areas perfectly. I am perfectly happy with this unit and find it works incredibly well for the price. My only negative is that the charging port does get a bit of wetness in it, but, I just dry it off, leave it unplugged for a couple of hours, then plug it in a charge it. It would be nice if it had a battery that could be charged by placing on a base, but at this price you can't expect that. I would love to try the Pro and of course other brands, however I would highly recommend the Aiper Scuba S1, especially for a smaller pool. Obviously, depending on the shape and size of your pool, you could always get different results.

Oh my goodness finally a pool vac that cleaned my pool! This was the fourth... no no the fifth pool vac that I've ordered. and I've tried from way more than twice this price to one of the little cheapies. Our pool is quite small so I do have a very handy little hand vacuum that is totally easy to use… But I wanted to simply drop something in the pool most days and then come back to see it beautiful.Totally unhappy with any other than this one. One night, I left the really expensive guy run overnight in my pool, hoping to wake up to a pristine sparkling pool, oh brother, how disappointing. I live in Arizona… Sand is a huge problem and no other vacs seem to want to pick it up. Now, I don't worry about leaves or anything else... oh yeah, a few bougainvillea blossoms here and there, but I just scoop them up with my net. It's the sand on the bottom every day and every day.. And this little beauty, well I think I'm in love… Woke up this morning and I could have jumped straight in the pool if it were a couple degrees warmer :-) this is only the beginning of April. I'm gonna have to wait a couple weeks for that. Now my little girl Bria, my fuzzy little girl I mean, she gets in just about every day Just to cool her feet off. She hops onto the top step, gets her feet cooled off and if she's really warm, she'll sit in it for a while. BUT, now I won't have to bring her straight in and give her a second shower after she does that. We've never had any problem with the cleanliness of the water itself...we have a salt system… Works beautifully, but the sand in the bottom of the pool yes, problem. I think this is the best pool vacuum apparently out there cause goodness knows I've tried enough and returned them. I suggest this pool vac. I hope it lasts forever. Oh, and I'm actually a customer I paid for my Pool vac. Just a sidebar I'm 85 years old, and the set up was absolutely no problem whatsoever, and it's not all that terribly heavy. I really do like this vac so far.

Click to play video We love this pool vacuum. It cleans our whole pool. Charges fast, cleans bottom and scrubs the sides and waterline. I got a kick watching it climb the walls the first couple of times. It is very easy to use out of the box. Customer service with Aiper is top notch.

I had high hopes in search of a pool cleaner, first i did see a review about connecting issues and sure enough once it is paired with your phone and you place it in service and it sinks to the bottom of the pool it disconnects from your phone rendering the app completely useless. It is a great powered unit it would go up the sides in the deep end but would never go to the shallow end . It would repeat the same line across the deep end turn around and go back and forth same spot until the battery is drained which is around 2.5 hours. I tried every mode also. basket is a great size and has the extra filter basket for smaller particles.

Click to play video Wow…this is a pretty impressive robot vacuum. Background: I have a 30’ x 14’ inground pool with a vinyl liner. There is a slight slope from the shallow to deep end, and the edges are sloped where the wall meets the floor. Up until now, I have been vacuuming it either manually with a pole and hose, or with a Kreepy Krauly. Both are cumbersome and time consuming to drag out the hose and connect everything up. Doing it manually is slow and takes time, and the Kreepy’s effectiveness was affected by the water return’s circulation (and it always got hung up on the metal ladder). Usage: Let me tell you, this robot vacuum is a game changer. Aside from making sure that its battery is charged, you just drop it in the pool and off it goes. You don’t even have to turn the pool pump off. You can see the intelligence that it uses to determine the path to take and how it handles obstacles. With the Aiper phone app, you can choose options like whether it does just the floor, just the walls, or both. There’s a large filter compartment for the stuff that it sucks up. Simply open it up and rinse it clean with a hose when finished. It climbed my pool walls with ease and when it reached the top it scrubbed the water line before going back down to resume its cleaning pattern. The suction is strong and I found that the filter’s fine mesh was very effective even with small particles of dirt. There’s also a secondary MicroMesh filter that fits inside the regular filter that you can use. It feels cloth-like and is capable of trapping even smaller particles. This inner filter has a limited life span (the manual says around 30 uses) before it should be replaced. But the outer filter basket is permanent and just needs to be rinsed after use. The battery life is also good as my entire pool was spotlessly clean and it still had power left. Another nice feature that I like is the battery level is displayed via a color LED. A hook is provided that you can attach to your pool pole that you use to pull the robot up and out of the water. Summary: No doubt about it, this robot vacuum really does an impressive job. If there are any negatives, I haven't come across them. Yes, it’s a little pricey, but once you get one, you’ll see that it’s well worth every penny and you won’t regret it. I absolutely love it and give it a strong recommendation.

I’ve had the Aiper Scuba S1 for about a month now, and so far it’s been doing a solid job. My pool tends to get a lot of fine debris—dust, pollen, that sort of thing—and this cleaner actually picks it all up. The ultra-fine filter they mention really does trap the small stuff. You do have to rinse it out fairly often, though, especially after heavy use. It climbs the walls and cleans the waterline pretty well. I was a bit skeptical about that part, but it’s handled it better than other cleaners I’ve tried. Doesn’t get every inch, but close enough that I don’t feel like I have to go back and scrub. Navigation is decent. It doesn’t seem to just bounce around randomly like some others do. It covers the pool efficiently and usually finishes the job without missing much. The battery lasts long enough to clean my whole pool on one charge, which is nice. The app is simple, nothing fancy, but it’s handy for scheduling cleanings or starting it remotely. I didn’t think I’d use it much, but I actually do. Only downsides so far: it’s not cheap, and like most robotic cleaners, it’s not great with stairs or tight corners. Also, the filter does need frequent cleaning, but that comes with the territory if you want ultra-fine debris picked up.

It took a couple of weeks between when I ordered this pool cleaner until it actually arrived. I was surprised at how heavy it is! I think that it is heavier than other pool cleaners that I have had before. I took it to my brother's indoor pool in Ottawa to give it a try. It functioned pretty much like most of the other pool cleaners I have tested. The battery life seems reasonable. It is listed as an upgrade but I'm not sure how much more it is improved than their previous model. I found that it moved rather slow on the bottom of the pool. I'm not sure if it's because of the slope of my brother's pool or if it's just because of the weight of the robot that makes it a little more sluggish. But maybe slowly is better! Perhaps it is doing a more thorough cleaning. The app is great and easy to understand. Cleaning the filter is pretty straightforward. The robot did a decent job of cleaning the floor, the walls and waterline, even if they really didn't need cleaning that much right now. When the robot was finished, I simply used a hook to fish it out of the pool. What I also like about this pool cleaner is that the pool can still be used while the robot is doing its job. No concerns about getting tangled up in hoses or cords. Overall, this is a pretty good robotic pool cleaner that does a decent job. It seems to trap small particles that other cleaners might leave behind. The app is easy to understand. At this point in time I can offer this robotic pool cleaner a five star rating. If things change in the summer when it is put to work in an outdoor pool, I will update this review. Good product in my opinion.

The Aiper Scuba S1 is a time-saver! I use this robotic pool vacuum instead of manually cleaning which helps me tackle other tasks around the yard in the meantime! I have a smaller sized pool and this robot can easily vacuum it with a single charge. The unit itself is about 18”x15”x9” and weighs 11 kg. There are 4 cleaning modes - wall+floor+waterline, wall only, floor only, eco (periodic). I haven’t found any issues with the cleaning besides the stairs which are understandably difficult for most of the pool vacuum robots. There is a handy app that allows you to schedule cleanings. Despite the high price, it has great value!

Grabbed this cordless pool robot cleaner so I could finally retire the clunky hose vac, and after a couple of test runs it’s basically my little blue tank—heavy to lift but once it hits the water it cruises around with purpose, scrubbing the floor, walls and even the waterline. The filter pulls out the fine grit that used to leave the pool a bit cloudy, and the 180-minute battery means it can finish my 30-ft pool on one charge, no mid-clean rescue mission. The phone app is handy for checking battery and scheduling cleans and cleanup’s simple: pop the top, hose the filter, done. Only downsides so far are its brick-like heft. Otherwise this thing’s turned pool maintenance from a weekend chore into a push-button job for me.
