Easy & convenient to use. Temp comes up quickly on display. Used it twice on grilled chicken breasts & steaks. The needle-type probe is easy to insert without damaging the meat. Accuracy is amazing. If you're a grill master, this is necessary tool. If you're not, you need it even more to avoid liability. Don't hesitate to pick one up: It's an inexpensive, quick, sure satisfaction gadget.

Ordered Thursday evening about 6:15 pm. Arrived about 11:00 am Friday!! Now that's definitely one day delivery - Less than! Ordered 2 - one for the house and one for the motorhome. Previous old ones had quit. Great quality - nice and robust. Doesn't feel cheap like many of these things do. Nicely packaged. Nice clear instructions in good English. Folds nice and compact. Water resistant. Lifetime warranty. Even came with a spare battery!! That's about 25% of the price right there. Does everything perfectly. You can even recalibrate it if you ever need or want to, which most of the (slightly) cheaper (or not) ones your can't. Fast reading. Excellent display with backlight button. Useful hold button and so you can read it conveniently with out rushing. Very easy to use. There are similar ones available, but this looked to be the best. And one really nice thing - it came with a meat temperature and grilling tips chart that was over and above anything else I have ever come across. VERY informative and helpful. Not just the usual minimal information. I laminated them to use and not get messed up. The only feature it does not have that one other does, is a magnet. But both our fridges are non-magnetic stainless steel and I'm not going to stick on the grill and melt it. I don't write reviews very often, but I am very impressed with this product and happy to highly recommend it. If I could find anything negative to say, it would be on Amazon, not the product. They wasted a big empty cardboard box for two tiny packages smaller than a tube of tooth paste rattling around in it. A padded envelope would have been more appropriate, but who knows what was going in the warehouse, so who am I to make assumptions and criticize?

Excellent, temperatures for cooked meat right on the handle. It comes with a battery installed and an extra one too. Ready to use right out of the box. A large hole on the end for hanging it if needed. I have used it with pork and chicken. Folds up and the digital temperature numbers are large and easy to read. I am pleased with it.

Works as promised

I have been the cook in our house for almost two decades. This is the best digital instant-read thermometer I've ever owned and I'm genuinely happy that I purchased this specific one. It is durable, fast, and accurate. I like how it turns on and off just by opening the probe from its resting position. That makes it convenient when you're busy in the kitchen and don't have to fuss with pressing buttons or worrying about battery life. Also, it's sturdy. I've owned different brands in the past where the LCD display got glitchy or the probe pulled out of the base and exposed the internal wires. Not this one. This has been really rugged and easy to use. Couldn't be happier with my purchase

This item is easy to use and accurate. From meats on the grill or oven roasted it is longer in handle and probe. It also magnets to the refrigerator. This order was a gift to a family member who has had the same experience. It reads temperatures for holiday candies and brittles.

I like it. Big display, quick reads, handy temp guide right there. Magnet holds fine on side of fridge for me, though some say theirs didn’t. Go get yourself one and make a big pot roast.

It took me a minute to start using this, but once I did, I love it. I really like that it folds to shut off and automatically turns on when unfolded. It has a light you can turn on for the display, although the display is easily read without the light. The temps displayed have been accurate. The thing I like the most about it is that it’s magnetic. I have it on the side of my fridge about 3 feet from the stove. I turn, grab it and take the temperature of the food. I bake a lot of sourdough and it’s supposed to be 205*F to 210*F when done. I’m using this thermometer every other day. What a great item. I don’t even think about taking my old thermometer out of the cupboard now. I definitely need to get one of these for my two sons.

Very pleased with this, having a meat thermometer was a break through for cooking as no longer cook it to death to make sure it is done. I had a simple one before that did not turn off and eventually got broken, so I replaced with this one. Very easy to use, folding the probe over makes it less likely to break and turns it off saving battery. I have a metal surround oven door so stays on that with no issue Very happy with this and does what you expect

I bought it as a gift for my son and he tells me it works great. He has used it several times and finds it accurate and easy to read, and loves that he can wash it in the sink!! He also likes that it folds nicely to fit in the drawer.

i even tested the accuracy, i compared it with the thermometer from hospital, it reads the exact body temperature as the hospital thingy
