Got a spool over night, length was actually 100ft positive+negative rather than 50+50, easily installed with the circumference allowing car amp screws to bite into without compromising the strength, strong semi soft/flexible coating is easy to strip yet still durable, 0 issues. Even stays together when split making it quite nice for tidy cable management/speaker insulation.

It is like a speaker, but a speaker uses a cone to produce sound. The exciter is basically the part before the cone. This means that you can apply an exciter to a surface to essentially turn it into a speaker. The surface can be a box, bowl, glass, or even a wall! Different materials produce slightly different sound as well, though I have found that either plastic or cardboard generally makes the best sound. An excitor is an easy way to get a large speaker for fairly cheap, assuming you have two other things, this pack of wire and clip as well as an amplifier which basically provides more electricity to the signal which boosts sound. You could get away with using a standard 3.5mm jack, but the results may vary. Regular devices have a limit on the power that the ports can provide but an amplifier basically says "You want juice? I got juice!"

I needed speaker wire for putting my speakers in my large garage, with about a 40 foot total run on one speaker. This wire is heavier gauge than what I normally have used, but I wanted that for the extended length. It says it is 16 gauge, which is probably correct, but the wire itself seems heavier than other speaker wire I have used before that claimed to be 16 gauge. The speaker at the far end of my garage sounds just as good as the one close to the stereo, and I do not notice any degradation of the sound on the longer run. The insulation on the wires is nice and thick, the wire itself is a nice heavy gauge, with a high number of very fine wire strands so that it is very flexible. The black line on one wire made it easy to keep the polarity straight. The price is good. It appears to be all copper, even though the description doesn't show that. I ordered it hoping that it was - I personally will spend a bit more to bet copper instead of copper coated aluminum.

I have an old Sony stereo from my teenage years and it used to always have great sound. Unfortunately over time the original wires wore off and the sound quality dropped. I ordered this 16 guage copper wire after reading up on it. It seemed expensive and I really didn't need 50ft of wire! Still ended up ordering it. I have absolutely no regrets! I was able to restore my old stereo and the sound quality is amazing, just like old times. I listen to mostly rhythm and blues and music that is heavy on bass, low on treble, these wires carried the sound well enough, I highly recommend this for anyone who is an audiophile.

What can I say, it's speaker wire. Arrived before the promised date. Easy to work with. Quality is as good as the name brand stuff, and I'm pretty sure the electrons aren't picky about the price, as long as the metallurgy is right! Sounds great. If my system grows the point that need it, I'll buy again.

Cheap and good! It’s speaker wire. Don’t over complicate things. It’s good quality low priced speaker wire. I used it to connect my 5.1 surround sound speakers to my amp and it works perfectly. The fact is, for the vast majority of home surround sound applications you can buy really expensive heavier gauge wire and you will notice exactly zero difference. Just buy it, connect it and send it. Don’t over complicate your speaker setup and enjoy it.
