If you’re in need of a reliable, sturdy, and reasonably priced envelope option, keep reading for a detailed review! Quality and Material: 5/5 Right out of the box, I was impressed by the quality of these kraft envelopes. Made from a solid paper material, they feel sturdy and durable, which is essential for mailing important documents or protecting items inside. The classic kraft color gives them a professional and clean look, whether I’m using them for business or personal correspondence. The gummed closure is reliable; it sticks well without requiring a lot of moisture, which is always a plus. Functionality: 5/5 The size of these 9 x 12-inch envelopes is incredibly versatile. I primarily use them for sending documents, but I’ve found them useful for a myriad of purposes—storing artwork, organizing paperwork, and even for presenting gifts. Even when one goes paperless, there will be papers to hold onto, temporarily or permanently. Hard copies of important documents (e.g., LWT and RLT), temporary holds (e.g., tax returns), and personal correspondences, along with purchase receipts, insurance and medical payment documents, among others, tend to accumulate in no time and might be hard to sort out when needed. This is where the clasped envelopes have helped a lot, especially in situations when quick retrieval is necessary. Hard copies of my will and trust in these envelopes are stored in the bank safe deposit box, and PDF copies are kept in my hard drive. Hard copies of e-filed tax returns and supporting documents are kept in envelopes for each year. Different insurance policies and payments are stored in separate envelopes for each year. The troublesome accumulation of store receipts that have refundable items can be organized into envelopes either by date of purchase or vendor, and discarded after the warranty period. The utility of these sturdy and inexpensive envelopes is limited only by your needs and innovations.

Envelops themselves are a good product and as expected. One downside for me; they arrived in a traditional brown shipping box and you must store them in the same box instead of a clear plastic storage sleeve or some such.

Just what I needed at an amazing price. The quality is great, I’ve only sealed with a clasp as I use this to hand to borrowers for their loan documents, not to be mailed out. If you have to use these to ship, I suppose it would be fine. They are the average size thickness and again, worth the price.

For some reason calendars in Canada do not come with an envelope to mail. Used these envelopes to make envelopes to mail calendars abroad. I couldn't purchase this envelope size at my local Staples.

Needed something to keep each year of tax stuff together. Was using a 9X12 envelope but it was getting tight with all the slips and receipts and a printed copy of the return. I like the clasp as I can open (hopefully never) and close as many times as necessary. Oddity with the shipping - 100 envelopes shipped loose in an Amazon box. Not really a problem - just expected a package or shrink-wrapped bundle - took off my socks and made sure the count was correct. ;-)
