It's a very good bathroom floor towel. As others have pointed out, this is not really a "rug" but a towel that you put on the floor. Like the ones you find in hotels. I was very happy with how thick it is. This is exactly what I was looking for. It feels at least three times as thick as a regular towel and it's a little bit stiffer. I use it in front of the sink. I like something that I can wash fairly frequently. The problem with rubbery backed rugs is that sooner or later, due to washing and the heat from the dryer, they WILL start shedding the rubbery material and when that happens, a thousand little white rubbery pieces get all over your washing machine and/or dryer. At that point you basically have to throw it away. Won't happen with this one. Well made and good quality for the price. The only issue is it is so thick it takes a longer time to dry in the dryer. But that's kind of a good thing. Moving forward I will probably give it regular dryer time and let it air dry the rest of the way

I ordered a dark gray one about a month ago and loved it so much that I ordered two more in this powder gray color. I have light gray ceramic tile in my bathroom and the powder gray compliments the floor. I was surprised at how thick the material is! They feel great stepping out of the shower or tub and they are so easy to wash. A great quality for the money!

I've had the Amazon Basics bath mat for some time now and still love it as much as the day it arrived! The color was spot-on vs. what was shown on the product page. The size of the mat is perfect for drying off and catching the bulk of the drips as one towels down. When I opened package I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the bath mat; thick material, nice color, exactly what I needed. After first washing I noticed fraying of stitching. I will cut it off and hope that it doesn't continue

We have one of those pretty glass shower doors, where if someone turns the shower head slightly, the water runs through the gap between the doors and out over the tile floor. My regular bath mat has a rubber bottom and the water just runs under it. This mat has proven to work very well. It soaks up the water coming out of the shower and can be hung up to dry between showers. It does not slip on my tile floor, even when wet. It is wide enough to cover the door opening and gap between the doors. I picked a neutral color so I could use them in both of our bathrooms. It is close enough to the light beige of the showers to blend well. It is not a luxury item, I don't expect it to be super soft or very beautiful. It does a great job of keeping the water off of the floor, drys between showers, and washes well. It was a great deal for the money.

I bought this for my mom's bathroom since she was complaining about how cleaning her current bathroom things was difficult. It is thinner than I expected, almost like a thick towel, and I had assumed that it would have non-slip things (because I didn't really read the desciption) but I the way I saw it, she could just place it on top of the one she currently has to have an extra layer of dry and not risk her slipping and reduce the need to clean the larger matts as often. It turns out she was not as welcoming of the idea and said it was too small and she could slip anyway. SO I returned it, got the refund AND I got to keep it which was nice so now I'm using it instead and it works fine for me. My boyfriend on the other hand doesn't like it because it's too small for him and he says theres slipping and sliding , so maybe it's more usable for smaller folks, or maybe people who dry themselves in the shower before stepping out onto the mat.

This is a nicely made bath mat that can easily be washed in a washing machine. It’s somewhat heavier and thicker than a bath towel. Very convenient and useful. I saw similar, designer brand mats at a local department store that cost more even at a half price sale.

Vi en los comentarios que estos tapetes eran resbalosos y nada que ver!! Son de muy buena calidad, gruesos y el precio es accesible. Faciles de lavar en lavadora.

Encore une fois, comblé par la qualité et le prix des produits de marque Amazon Basic. Acheté pour équiper notre logement de location, souvent lavé, il ne perd absolument pas sa couleur ni sa douceur. Il est assez épais et absorbe parfaitement l'eau. Je recommande vivement.

Amo questo tappetino per la doccia, va benissimo, si può anche mettere in asciugatrice! Leggero ed elegante, credo che ne comprerò un altro.
