These seem to work as well as most name brand pods. The dishwasher itself probably has more effect on the quality of the wash than your detergent, so if the dishwasher stinks, no detergent will fix that. The value for these is very good and our dishes seem to come out clean. So we are happy with these and will continue to use them.

This stuff works great! Better than the suggested brand Finish and MUCH less expensive. This container has lasted me 7 months and I have another month’s worth left. Will definitely purchase again!

I typically use Cascade pods, but I decided to try this because it was more affordable. However, it doesn’t clean utensils as well as Cascade. It’s filled with powder and lacks liquid, which might be the reason. It gets the job done, but not as effectively as Cascade.

I'm currently unable to upload a photo of how dirty the dishes are when we load them! I am absolutely amazed at how beautiful, sparkling & shiny our dishes come out! I don't know if it all due to our great 23+ year old Whirlpool DW, or this detergent....but it's probably both of them together. They sure do make a great team at producing beautiful clean dishes. Could not be any easier to use: simply pop in one little pack in the closed compartment, & let 'er rip! There is an auto-prewash with our DW, but I let it run with just water: no additional packet is needed. The dishes come out looking like out of a hyped up, CGI ad! And this always involves sitting there awaiting a full, even over-loaded with dried on crud, load of dishes, pots & pans, etc. for several days! I can't imagine any brand name, over-priced product doing any better! It seems like it is lasting forever; of course doing dishes only every 3-4 days does stretch out how long it lasts. It seems like I went thru powdered DW soap much faster, even with the larger boxes. I HIGHLY recommend this Amazon Basic product!

I recently tried the Amazon Basics Dishwasher Detergent Pacs in Fresh Scent, and while they come at a great price for the quantity, my overall experience has been mixed. On the positive side, the cost-effectiveness of these detergent pacs is undeniable. With 85 count in a pack, they offer good value, making them an attractive option for budget-conscious households looking to stretch their dollar. However, where the product seems to fall short is in its cleaning performance. I've noticed that, more often than not, the pacs do not leave my dishes as clean as I would like. Residual food particles and a filmy residue on glassware have been recurring issues, necessitating additional manual rinsing and washing. For a product that’s supposed to make life easier, having to wash dishes by hand after a dishwasher cycle is quite frustrating. The fresh scent is mild and appealing, but unfortunately, it doesn't compensate for the lack of thorough cleaning. Overall, I have to give the Amazon Basics Dishwasher Detergent Pacs three stars. While the price and quantity are commendable and might work for those with less demanding dish loads, I'm on the lookout for a product that provides a consistently superior cleaning experience. If cost is your primary concern, these pacs might be worth a try, but for those prioritizing cleanliness, it may be best to explore other options.

While we live in a house that mainly hand washes. These are the only dishwasher pods i will use. they work amazing, smell great, have all natural ingredients and leave the dishes super shiny! the storage container is also very nice.

These dishwasher pods work pretty well. Only thing I noticed is that it sometimes doesn't clean more stick on things. Other than that, great buy.
