Very good poop bags, much better quality than the ones I was getting at the dollar store, but delivery was extremely slow. Had shown in stock at Amazon when ordered, but took 2 weeks to be delivered, which is why my original review was only 2 stars. Now that I have had a chance to actually use these bags, just wanted to update my review to report that these bag are really fantastic! They are a much thicker plastic than anything that I have ever used before, with an excellent perforation. A nice feature is that there is a white line printed on the bag just before the perforation, so when the roll is in a dispenser, simply pull the bag out to the white line, hold the roll with your thumb, give the bag a quick tug with the other hand, and they tear right off!

I’ve been using the Amazon Basics 540-count dog poop bags for several months now, and they’ve been a solid choice for daily walks with my dog. The bags are a good size—large enough to handle messes without being too bulky—and they tear off the roll easily without splitting. The included dispenser with a leash clip is convenient, though it’s a bit basic. The bags themselves are unscented, which I prefer, and I haven’t had any issues with leaks or tears during use. They’re not the thickest bags out there, but for the price, they do the job well. I scoop my cats litterbox every time she uses it and these are perfect for the job. The sticky tab on the outside of the roll is easy to remove so it doesn't rip the first bag. The amount of bags in this multi pack is amazing. I won't have to buy more for a long time. I threw out the carry along dispenser since I don't need it for my cat. But it's good if you have a dog.

I am extremely pleased with these Amazon Basic Dog Waste bags. They come in rolls of 15 per roll and are easy to tear apart. They are extremely durable and large enough in size that you can easily pick up waste and have enough to close it securely for disposal. The scents are great, especially in warmer weather. I have a specific container that I dispose dog waste in, so everything is contained including smells. The green color ensures the waste product is not visible when disposed of properly. They are easy to use and come with a dispenser that easily attaches to any leash or collar. I highly recommend these bags. They are the only ones I have been using for the past 3 years.

UPDATE: I'm not sure how many rolls I've used so far, but shortly after I wrote this review, I found a few bags in my roll which were sealed on the opposite side of the "open end". That wasn't a big deal except when I was surprised by my dog on a walk & I needed one which caused a lot of fuss on my part when I couldn't open the bag. After finding a few bags sealed on the wrong end, I ended up with a bag sealed on both ends so it couldn't be opened. After that bag, all of the bags righted themselves & they opened correctly. I'm not sure if this is going to happen again. I took away a star for the aggravation prior to discovering what was wrong with my bags, but this wouldn't deter me from buying the bags again as long as it doesn't become a frequent occurrence. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I retired recently so instead of 1 dog walk a day, I'm now walking 3 times per day. I've always used plastic shopping bags that are free, but my cats & their litter boxes have to share so with 3 dog walks a day, I needed more bags. Amazon Basics was the 2nd set of bags I purchased and this is what I noticed... First, the price was competitive at 2 cents per bag. Secondly, the spot to rip the bag from the roll has a white stripe. When it's dark outside, it can be difficult to see where to pull & rip. This white stripe is much easier to see than a "lack of print" to show were the perforation may be on other branded bags. Thirdly, the bags seem to slide open more easily between your fingers, even when it's cold. I seem to have a heck of a time opening plastic bags. Finally, the bags seem to spin in the opener a lot more easily than my other branded bags when it's time to pull a bag out. I have no idea what makes them spin more freely as I didn't actually use the holder from Amazon yet since my other brand's holder still works fine. Regardless, it's nice. In the end, the bags do what they need to do to dispose of your dog's waste politely, but I appreciate the "extra" features on these bags.

Our neighbors appreciate when we clean up after our dog. Naturally this occurs multiple times each day, so we seek these bags in bulk, and once again Amazon fits the need. They are reliable, which is key, and I love when bags like these tell you which end you can open so that you don't spend needless time trying to open the end that is sealed!

I have two large breed dogs who I take out on daily walks. Mother Nature takes its course and dogs have to go potty. I got tired of the cheap dollar store bags so I decided to check Amazon for different ones. I was glad that I did since these have a nice smell to it and they don’t puncture easily. They are the same size as normal, doggy bags, which works perfectly for my two dogs. I would definitely buy these again.

I have used half of these bags and I have not had a single one rip or break. Good quality bags, the dispenser feels cheap but it is holding up well and the next order will come with a new dispenser.

These bags are great quality! Thicker than most other bags I have bought! The scent is okay, I'm not a big fan of lavender but its not overwhelming. These are very comparable to the earth rated bags! They are a larger size which is great for larger breeds.

These poop bags are fantastic! The light lavender smell helps mask odors, and they're nice and thick so you never have to worry about accidents. The big pack of 540 bags lasts forever and is really good value. The dispenser clips right onto your leash, and the bags come off easily. They work great for any size dog, and the dark color gives privacy. Good for the environment too!
