I used Advantage II for years, and it worked fine. Then I saw this generic, which has the same ingredients, and it works just as well. You have to keep in mind that the small amount of liquid is at the bottom of the tube, so tilt it downward so that the liquid is near the tip before you squeeze it onto your cat.

We used Hartz and it didn't work after two treatments. Tried this out and haven't seen a flea since. (Knock on wood) Will update after we have used the remaining flea treatment per instructions if they come back. No confusing directions just snip, pinch and squeeze on neck skin.

I work with our local Humane Society and have several cats I take care of. The name brand flea treatment can get very expensive and decided to try Amazon Basic Flea Treatment. It applies just like the more expensive treatment and as far as I could tell, it worked just like the other treatment too! Some of the cats I take care of are part of a cat colony and spend most of their lives outside so keeping them healthy and treated for fleas is important. I also keep my inside cats treated as well just to ensure we don't have problems in our home. Out of the several cats I take care of, only 1 had a reaction to this treatment. She's a new addition so she could have this same reaction to the other brands as well, but haven't had her long enough to know this for sure. The rest of the cats did fine and I didn't notice any scratching or fleas on them so I think this product is a great, affordable, alternative to the other more expensive brands out there!

I've got this a few times and it always seems like there's very little actual topical treatment in the tubes. Infact, some were completely dry. I really don't recommend this product since the quality seems unstable.

This item arrived on time with proper packaging and easy instructions. This was easy to use and did the job I gave my cat a bath and after she was dry applied, the dropper full fleas are gone. She is no longer itching. It has been two weeks since application and everything looks normal.

The product is decent if you can get it out of the funky tube like things it comes in. First... You need scissors. They do not rip off cleanly or evenly. If you get a jagged rip you will never get the fluid out. Even with a clean cut the tube is hard to empty on to the animal. I bought Amazon brand again... But bought the bigger size due to the dispensing issue. (Purple box)
