I absolutely love my echo show age 3rd generation! Perhaps legal upgrade someday to a bigger one, but for now this is perfect for my table next to my bed. I can use it to watch Netflix and all kinds of other things you can watch on their different apps. You can get on the Internet. You can listen to music you can listen to books I mean I’ve gotten so much use out of it and I just absolutely love. I can’t believe I didn’t have one sooner. I highly recommend this. I plan on hooking my security camera and they will also integrate with this item . I’m pretty sure it will hook up to a smart Home items especially they will if they work with Alexa. It’s easy to set up. I’m also buying a battery stand for it so I can take it with me when it gets warmer out outside if I want to when I go to sit on the porch or whatever I do outside. The music sounds great on it! The quality of watching movies or videos on it is great also. You also configure it with your Alexa app, which is very easy to do. It’s pretty much self-explanatory when you’re setting it up. it’s easy personalized for the things that you would like on there. I’ve spent some time going through all the little things that has on that you can do and it’s just there’s so much to do. I can’t even name everything. It’s great. I recommend that wouldn’t get that you know Jesus smart devices. I plan on hooking the external Bluetooth speaker up to it also. Corino, it’s very easy to ask questions like you on on any other electric device. The connectivity is great besides it just perfect. and like I said, it’s very easy to use very easy to set up and the controls on top of it or very easy. There’s only a few of them to do so there’s the volume up and down and the on button and the little switch if you’d like to turn the camera off, so you know if you feel more comfortable, not having the camera on oh and also you can use it as a camera in the room that it’s in and watch it from your phone from the Alexa app. It’s great that way if I think someone’s in my room, I can just turn on the camera from my phone app and see if someone’s in there or what’s going on in there. And it has two way talking on it if you wanna talk to the person in the room.. And really it’s not very heavy at all. I’m excited to get the battery to put on it to see how it is the carried around like that so when I go outside, you can have it also. Great device the great device for sure I wish I would’ve gotten a lot sooner.

El asistente alexa echo snow 8 tiene muy buenas mejores creo que lo que más destaca es su pantalla de 8” te recomiendo que lo adquieras siempre y cuando lo uses para agregar dispositivos inteligentes y muy importante que a mí me encantó es que lo uso para checar cámaras que tengo creo que ese punto es el que más destaca, el sonido es bueno! Si buscas un asistente Alexa para solo para funciones básicas de Alexa y música este no es para ti te recomiendo Alexa echo Studio te sorprenderá su sonido! Excellent assistant. J'ai 6 assistants Google et j'ai dû acheter l'assistant Alexa pour interfacer avec un robinet Moen non compatible avec Google (malgré la pub qui disait le contraire...). J'ai été surpris de constater que l'appareil d'Amazon réagit beaucoup plus rapidement à des commandes simples. De plus, l'appareil est dans la cuisine, et je peux demander de m'afficher des recettes (par exemple 'alexa, affiche des recettes de soupe aux pois') et j'obtiens une sélection de recettes parmi lesquelles je puis faire un choix, et une fois une recette choisie, je peux ajouter les ingrédients à une liste d'achats, faire afficher la recette étape par étape par commandes vocales. C'est quand même hyper pratique. L'assistant Google (tout dernier modèle) situé juste à côté répond 'excusez-moi, je n'ai pas compris' en recevant la même demande, pourtant transcrite parfaitement sur son écran.

I’m absolutely loving my Alexa, I have the echo show 8 in glacier white. I have the original 2018 HomePods that I’ve been using since 2018 and they just have let me down repeatedly. Apple hasn’t really added anything new at all nor have they continued innovating the HomePod line like Amazon has with their various echo “Alexa” enabled devices. I cost ask my HomePods much without it telling me I can’t, but Alexa on the other hand has an answer for pretty much everything and that is soooo much better to have around. The sound quality of the device is actually amazing. Having only ever used apples HomePod and seeing the quality of friends and family’s older echos and google homes, I always thought HomePod was the top. But echo show 8 is literally on par with a HomePod. It truly lives up to the “spatial audio” name. The screen quality is actually pretty good for being a basic screen. It’s overall pretty responsive to the point it’s not annoying to use. The built in camera quality is pretty good as well! Only thing it suffers with is being placed in direct sunlight. But when positioned correctly it’s a pretty good picture quality. The built in smarts of Alexa are way beyond what I’m use too. I purchased a fire tv 4K max as well and have found out that you can control the entire thing hands free, and not just basic on/off, find X…show. But you can ask Alexa to scroll left/right/down/up and ask her to select items onscreen. I can be all nice a cozy in my blanket wrapped up and get Alexa to click the next episode button for me…… worth the price of all of it right there! Siri could never! I’m impressed with Alexa and absolutely cannot wait for Alexa+ to make it even better.

The SKILLS option doesn't work for live view after motion detected. Amazon will not tell you this. I spent one hour on the phone with customer service and they were worthless. It has taken a month to figure this out. Here is a solution that that currently works for me, I have an Echo Show 8, and a Ring Pro HD FloodLight/Camera. Also, I am using an Iphone Alexa app. Also works on Android. Sorry for the length, trying to be thorough. Please post a reply if this works for you. I have it running with multiple Ring devices. First, make sure you can see the Live View camera from your Ring device on you Echo Show. Example-> Alexa, Show Front Door (or whatever you named your device) Next, make sure you can stop the Live View camera on your Echo Show from your Ring. Example-> Alexa, Stop If you can do these 2 things, proceed. We are going to be using these 2 commands. You will need 2 Routines for each camera, I’ll the use the Pro HD Doorbell as the example below; Why 2 Routines? Because the “Custom Action” that tells Alexa to execute Commands must be the Last Action defined in the Routine, so we can’t use 1 Routine to issue multiple Alexa Commands. We are going to use the Alexa Commands; {Alexa, Show Front Door} and {Alexa, Stop}, hence the test above. Also and most importantly, multiple Routines can be triggered from the same Motion Event on the same device, at the same time, this allows us to do multiple things in parallel!! These 2 routines will be executed in parallel when Motion is detected on your Ring device; the 1st routine detects Motion on a Pro HD Doorbell and Shows the Doorbell Live View camera the 2nd routine detects the same Motion on the same Pro HD Doorbell, Waits 4 minutes and Stops the Doorbell Live View camera To simplify, 2 Routines detect the same Motion at the same time, one turns on Live View, the other waits 4 minutes and turns Live View off. Update and summary: I have a camera called front lawn Cam - When detects motion, anytime (in when) - show front lawn cam (in Custom) - wait 10 seconds (adjust to what you want in wait) - stop front lawn cam (in custom) - Wait 5 seconds (in wait) - Echo show show home screen (in custom, otherwise the camera will stay on the screen, and if you close the echo show screen with a command after the camera has been on, it doesn't open again for the next camera movement, so show home screen is best) It now fully functions for the reason I bought it, has taken me about 20 hours of adding and removing commands.
