I got this for my son because he hates big puffy coats, but it’s winter, so we compromised and got this less puffy coat! He actually really likes it and it’s easy for him to take in and off at school. I’d say it does fit tru to size, so if you like a looser fit for over sweatshirts, size up. So far, great quality and very happy that I can finally convince him to wear a coat!

Great value for the price. Our child prefers this coat to his others. It’s durable, the color is spot on, and it keeps him warm. It’s the right thickness for wearing layers underneath. We’ll see how it holds up over time but i’m not concerned.

My toddler is on the taller lean side. I wasn't sure if he could fit the XS yet since he's wearing 3T currently and it shows measurements for 4T. We tend to get things a size up anyway to wear/use longer. This fits pretty prefect to allow additional layers underneath. The arms of course are a little too long. Why do kids get 4 pockets and women clothing none?!?! Super annoying, but I love that about this jacket so he can carry his own toy cars. He can also store the carry bag in there which is a nifty bonus. No loose threads and quality seems pretty good for how often he'll wear it (in the south more warmer weather then cold).

We needed a lightweight jacket for the fall, and we needed it fast! We didn't realize Amazon Essentials had toddler-sized clothing so we decided to try it. It's very well built and exactly what we needed. My toddler is warm and it can be compacted into a bag which is also included!! It was also was the best deal compared to other brands.
