I'm a big fan of getting the most value for my money, and the Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet definitely delivers. I picked up the 64GB version for my 6-year-old son, and it's been a fantastic little workhorse. He mainly uses it for YouTube Kids, learning apps, and some light gaming, and it handles everything like a champ. It was so good, in fact, that I decided to get the 32GB version for my mom. And let me tell you, for the price, you just can't beat it. I opted for the version with lock screen ads, and honestly, they're not intrusive at all. They really don't bother anyone's usage. For my son, the HD screen is perfect for watching videos, and the tablet is responsive enough for his games. He's had no complaints, and that's saying something for a 6-year-old! My mom mainly uses hers for YouTube streaming, and she's been thrilled with it. It's easy for her to navigate, and the picture quality is great. I love that it's durable enough for a kid to use without me constantly worrying about it breaking. And the battery life is impressive. We can go for hours without needing to recharge. It's clear that Amazon has put a lot of thought into making this tablet user-friendly and affordable. If you're looking for a reliable tablet for streaming, browsing, or light gaming, especially for kids or less tech-savvy family members, the Fire HD 10 is an excellent choice. It's truly the best bang for your buck, and I highly recommend it! 5 stars!

I bought this tablet because I was going back and forth on. Did I really need a tablet for my cozy hobby room? Truth is yes I did. I have a great app and I also put on a Stihl classics planner and let me tell you it has been so much fun. It downloads perfectly fast for me. Some people said that it didn't download that they were having problems loading or that the picture was not as clear as they would want. Now sometimes like if I'm watching YouTube sometimes the video is a little fussy. It isn't as clear as as if you were watching on a TV, but it's pretty darn good for its size. I absolutely love the size. It's a little big and obnoxious yes to some people but for what I'm using it for there's nothing really obnoxious for me to say about it because I write on it. I read on it. I love that it has a built-in Kindle I've already put. I don't know how many books on here and I'm so excited because I was able to get a lot of the books that I have had in my list to buy as physical books. Now I have them on my Kindle and they were way less cheaper which is awesome. So I have reading material which I'm totally excited to start my reading goal for 2025. It charges super fast. Let me tell you it is super super fast what else it is sleek it is thin it. The volume was great on it. The power button works great. The only thing that I would say that isn't great about it is the advertisements when you first turn it on and use the slidescreen. I'm a little annoyed by that that you have to pay a $15 fine or fee on it. I mean we already have bought the tablet for what $119 or $130 to some of us or if some of us were really lucky during Christmas time we got it for $79 well me I paid $139 for it. I think the the advertisements should be waived if you pay the full amount. I'm just saying that I'm a little annoyed by it. Every time I turn it on. There's an advertisement that doesn't really you know concern me. I don't like that. I like to be able to turn it on and see my own home screen but I will be taking it off for sure. I will be paying the $15 sadly. But $15 I guess is not so bad. But like I said, if you're paying a hefty price for the tablet already, you should get the the advertisements waived already. Just saying that's the only thing that I would say. That is kind of annoying to me but everything else about the tablet is super fast. It's easy to connect to your internet and I haven't had any issues so far. I'm just very excited to be using my tablet and using it for whatever I need and take it wherever I need to go. So definitely would recommend but also watch out for the ads on the lock screen. So beware. This is March 29th and I still love this tablet. It has gone everywhere with me. I leave it on during the night unplugged till the early morning where it it's at 54% battery in an 8 hour sleep. Also would like to add that you can get Google Play, just google it and follow the step by step on Youtube. I was able to all my apps thst were missing on The Amazon app store. Getting the Google Play app has really made my enjoyment better with the Fire Tablet.

I just checked and found that this 10" tablet is my 11th Kindle Fire tablet since 2011, so you may say I'm a fan! My husband gets my hand-me-downs, and since had I just bought a new 10" tablet back in February (ocean), he now gets that one and I get the new one (lilac). So we're both happy. We mostly use our tablets for reading, and for that purpose, they work great. This 10-inch tablet is a nice size, not too heavy for reading or browsing the internet. Overall, it is a nice looking tablet at a good price and does what I need it to do. That being said, there are some limitations: 1) I'm not much of a gamer, but some years back, I got a few games for free on a Black Friday sale and enjoyed playing them. I also downloaded another game that is free to play. All three of these games worked great until I got to end-game. I then had problems with the game slowing down and even freezing to the point where I was unable to play them to the finish. I tried adding extra storage, even going so far as buying a newer tablet, but ultimately realized that it was a RAM issue. It's disappointing to me that games would be sold in the Amazon Appstore when the RAM on the tablet wouldn't be able to support the demands of the game. There is an upside: I stopped playing them and now have more time to read, yay! 2) Even though my tablet is new, it is becoming more and more apparent that Amazon is no longer supporting some of its own apps. These apps are no longer working (although the sites themselves can still be accessed using the Silk Browser): Goodreads, which Amazon owns, so this is really a mystery, especially because so many people do use their tablets for reading; and both the Shop Amazon and the Photos app now take you to the Silk Browser, where you need to sign in each time to access. In the case of the Photos app, it seems to have been replaced with the new Gallery app, but as of this date, Gallery is extremely limited in function. To use a new photo wallpaper, for example, I had to click on the Photos app, sign in, find and download locally the picture I wanted to use, and only then could the innate wallpaper chooser "see" the photo, which was also then available in Gallery. Whew! Prior to this change, the wallpaper could be easily changed in one step, as Amazon Photos was one of the choices, along with the built-in wallpapers, and you could scroll and select a photo as desired. If you're not an end-gamer or don't really need or rely on the built-in Amazon apps, you'll be fine, as this is still a more than decent tablet for the price.
