We purchased this tablet specifically for entertainment purposes for our children. But this tablet has provided that and so much more! It's appropriate for ages 3 years to 7 years old. It comes with a kid-friendly case, an 8-inch screen, and a pull-out stand that converts to a handle making it easy to transport and travel with. The ports available for this table is a C connector, USB, and headphone jack. It comes with 32 GB of internal storage with an option to expand and add even more storage with a Micro SD slot that expands to 1 TB of storage. It has an advanced audio port design. It has a dual band Wi-Fi. This tablet, if fully charged can last up to 12 hours. Giving your child 12 hours of video watching, music, gaming, reading, and educational activities, and great for long trips. It is easy to use for children and parents with its Parental Controls through Amazon Kids and Amazon parent's dashboard. Amazon Kids + provides unlimited access to age-appropriate content, that includes programs like STEM, Math Claw or books in different languages. It has 1280x800 resolution. You can get this tablet in a Bule and Turquoise, Disney Pixar option, Disney Princess or Grape. This is a great table for children and Parents! Tia H.

**Product Review for New Amazon Fire HD 8 Kids Pro** I recently purchased the Amazon Fire HD 8 Kids Pro for my 9 yo son, and I couldn't be happier with this investment! This tablet is a game-changer for both kids and parents, making screen time both fun and educational. Design & Durability: The first thing that stood out to me was the sturdy design. The kid-friendly case is not only vibrant and appealing but also provides excellent protection against drops and bumps. As a parent, I appreciate the peace of mind that comes with knowing the tablet can withstand the rough and tumble of daily use. User-Friendly Interface: Navigating the tablet is a breeze! The user interface is intuitive and tailored for kids, allowing my child to explore apps and games without any frustration. The Fire HD 8 Kids Pro comes pre-loaded with a wide range of educational apps and games, making it perfect for learning while having fun. Parental Controls: One of my favorite features is the robust parental controls. I can easily manage screen time, set educational goals, and choose which apps and content are accessible. This level of control has helped me ensure my child is engaging with age-appropriate material while also promoting healthy screen time habits. Content Variety: The inclusion of Amazon Kids+is a fantastic bonus! My child has access to thousands of books, movies, and shows that cater to various interests. It’s great to see them so excited about reading and learning through interactive content. Battery Life & Performance: The performance of the tablet is impressive. It runs smoothly without lag, even when multiple apps are open. The battery life lasts for hours, making it perfect for long road trips or family outings. the Amazon Fire HD 8 Kids Pro is an outstanding choice for parents looking to provide their kids with a safe and enriching digital experience. I highly recommend it to anyone considering a tablet for their children. It has truly exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to see how much my child continues to learn and grow with it!

Fast little tablet. I was honestly worried because our previous fire tablets were so slow my kids didn’t even want to play on them, but my son loves this one! He has so many games and videos on It and we still have plenty more storage if he wants to add more! Connects to WiFi super easy, and the case and tablet look like great quality for kids! 10/10 recommend. The screen size is perfect, not too big not too small!

Very easy to set up. Good picture, and sturdy casing. Would recommend buying a screen protector just in case. Great battery life, and well worth the price!

My kids love these and so do I. Start off by saying best value you can get honestly with the year replacement just amazing. Tablets very quick and light weight. Amazon makes setting device up straight forward as it walks you threw the steps and most time comes with a kids + membership so what you waiting on just purchase it already !

I've bought several Fire Tablets over the years for my two boys, usually upgrading every 2-3 years. The age-appropriate content for younger kids has been great and you can't beat the price. I just bought a 2024 Fire 8 HD for my 8 year old to replace his 8 from 2-3 years ago. I made sure the old one was backed up and that the new one was linked to my Amazon account so that all the content would transfer. There are a few things that I can't figure out how to get from the old tablet to the new: personal photos & videos and Minecraft worlds and add-ons purchased in-app. I pay for extra Amazon Photos storage and paid probably $40 or so for all those Minecraft add-ons, but somehow we're not able to keep our stuff?! My son has spent hours building his worlds in MineCraft and is very upset that there's no way to recover them. I saved his Minecraft progress by making sure he was always logged in through Microsoft when he played, but he Fire tablet seems to block the Microsoft account from acquiring the purchased add-ons. Because of this, he doesn't want to upgrade his Fire now, but the battery is starting to go so there's no other option. I tried transferring the photos and videos via Bluetooth, but the tablet refused to connect to my desktop PC. I tried finding the files on the SD card, but the SD card would not load on my PC either. When I look in the Files folder on the tablet, it appears to be empty. I wish Amazon would address these known issues; there are no working solutions on the forum and many parents and kids are frustrated!
