The Kids Fire tablet is the device I recommend to all parents. I love the parental controls and the settings that ensure content is appropriate for the selected age group. I don't worry about the kids stumbling onto videos, apps, games or other content that is inappropriate with this device. It's very easy for kids to navigate and the Amazon Kids Free time allows myriad content to download for only a few dollars a year. I also like that you can opt to add apps such as Netflix and Disney+ and sign in with your account so kids can watch movies and shows. I also love all the e-books and audio books available.

We are Apple people over here but we were having such a hard time regulating kids’ iPads and keeping kids from certain content while also allowing them to access kid-appropriate material easily. That being said, the Amazon kids tablet allows us to do these things with ease! I LOVE the parent dashboard. Love that I can make kids read before they have game access and love that I can be sure their apps are age appropriate. I can allow them as much or little time each day and love that I can pause their tablet time from my phone if I need to. We got the Amazon app subscription for free with the purchase and honestly I really love it. Kids can easily browse and download apps with a click of a button. I don’t allow them access to choose from apps that are any additional cost, so that hasn’t been a problem for us. Also, knowing the Amazon subscription makes apps ad free and being able to set the age limit on apps gives me peace of mind knowing kids are safe from being exposed to some weird stuff (I found some of the ads on free apps on their iPads were questionable for my kids). All that to say we love these tablets and would highly recommend for kids! We do have a smaller and older version 7” for kids 3-7 and I do feel this 8 kids pro is def faster at receiving info from dashboard changes on my phone. Sometimes the younger kids version 7”takes a while or needs to be restarted to get the info if I change things on the parent dashboard. Just something to consider if you’re trying to decide between the kids 8 pro and the younger kids 7” version.

Amazon called and took care of my issues. It took a while on the phone but 100% happy with the result. This is suppose to have a 2 year warranty. I have been trying for a month to try to refund it, get it looked at or replaced. It allows me to click on return and sends me to support and nothing helps and talked to a support person via chat. It is not broken, cracked or misused and has a case. So hopefully Amazon will respond now that I have placed this review. All three of my girls have them all bought on Amazon. This one will not turn on used different chargers and cords and including but not limited to the one it came with. Please contact me so we can get this taken care of.

I bought these for my kiddos for a long car trip we had coming up (17 hours). I was skeptical because the older tablets are so slow, and my kids are heavily into Roblox. However, these are not slow at all! Roblox never crashed (unless our hotspot had no service), the tablets lasted all day without having to be recharged, they are super easy to download new and exciting games. Overall, they love them! These are also faster than the 5th generation iPads!

We try to order our son a new tablet at least once a year. He is disabled and doesn’t play with regular toys. However; he loves his Kids Amazon Fire Tablets. They’re very well made and offer great protection with the included kid proof cases. All of his tablets have been lightweight and easy to use. Parental controls help give us peace of mind; knowing he won’t be able to make purchases and access content that isn’t appropriate for him. The only downside I could possibly say about the tablet isn’t even with the tablet. It’s with certain game availability. The first tablet we purchased our son ever; he had access to Lego Batman; it was the only true game he figured out how to play. Then Amazon took it out of the free access rotation and it completely crushed my son. No; to us this isn’t a big deal. But to a disabled child that was use to grabbing his tablet and playing his favorite game; was literally heartbreaking to see.
