I preferred the Fire TV Soundbar Pro in hopes of leveling up the immersive audio for gaming sessions and for better volume quality than my standard built-in television speakers and this thing delivers and then some. Set up was wicked easy with a single HDMI connection to the HDMI ARC port and the power cable from the soundbar to a power outlet. It pairs automatically with my Fire TV stuck so seamlessly. I just plugged it in and the next time I turned on the Fire TV stick, the soundbar was just part of the entertainment set up ecosystem. Just like that! The Fire TV Soundbar Plus makes video game audio really stand out. Incredibly pleased with this purchase. If I had a larger room that would have allowed for it, I would have sprung for the full set that included the external subwoofer and the external speakers but for the space I am using, even the Soundbar Plus is a bit overkill HOWEVER I would rather it be overkill and extra than lacking.

This is a great soundbar! Upgrading from an 8+ year old sound bar. It works flawlessly with my fire tv, having everything controlled with one remote is huge! Super easy to set up, and connects to my phone Bluetooth without any hitches! Dropped down a star- when I attempted the next day the sound bar repeatedly stopped working after 15 seconds of use. U plugged from wall, tv everything. Spent about 30 min with tech support they advised me to completely unplug both tv and sound bar for 2 MINUTES. This resets everything and stops other apps that may be running in background. Its worked ever since!

Super easy to install, it synced with my Insignia Fire TV by its self once powered up. Sound is great! Love the Dialog level feature. Allows you to increase the dialog volume separate from bass and treble Great value!

Ordered this for a bedroom Tv and chose to not add the sub as it adds too much bass for a small room. Paired with a fire cube it’s great. It recognizes it right away and you can tweak the settings. One of my biggest pet peeves with firestick products is the inability to regulate voice and background sound. This seems to of solved the issue and everything is much clearer. One thing to note is that it only has an Earc output, so if your tv doesn’t support earc you will need an optical cable. Mounting was no issue and it feels well made. The bass without the sub is great for a small room, so don’t think it will sound bad if you buy the cheaper version. I’ll circle back if it has any issues, but right now it’s exceeded my expectations.

This is my first sound bar and it works well greatly improving the sound of TV shows and movies. It was easy to install and works well. What I don't like is that there is only an HMDI input so I can't plug in the Amazon firestick into the sound bar and then use the nonexistent HMDI output to go to the TV's single HDMI input connector. I am forced to use an optical connector to connect the TV to the sound bar. Also, I don't like that the sound bar turns itself off and does not turn on automatically when the optical cable lights up. Otherwise it works well but could be better if it had an HDMI pass through so it could automatically turn on when the HMDI source turns on.

I ordered this item as an upgrade over my previous Amazon Fire bar (see pics for size comparison). It definitely was an upgrade. I ordered just the bar only, no subwoofer due to available space. It is a further enhancement for my 55" fire QLED tv. This bar has more sound modes than the original bar, which is great since I play a lot of music from the tv. The depth of sound is amazing. Bass and rebel can be adjusted. Sound projection is great for living rooms. Great clarity. Installing it too just a couple of minutes. I prefer a wireless set up and it pairs and syncs with my fire tv fairly easy. It pairs with my phone easily as well. No problems with wireless connections. Bar streams great when I want to play music at night without having the tv on so I can sleep. Not giving it high marks in portability. It has some weight to it. It may seem a little bulky to some but still enjoying it.

First Soundbar had blown speakers, as soon as there was any base, the crackling would start. Amazon's amazing exchange program had my exchange unit arrive the following day. This one sounds perfect, couldn't be happier!

I’m surprised by quality both build and sound. Sound is decent as for this small thing. However there is some disadvantages: 1) There is no EQ control except for presets and basic adjustment for low and high. That means when it comes to bass you limited to two modes Movie and Music. I don’t really understand why Amazon didn’t give full control over spectrum? 2) Volume control. If you connect some media player trough HDMI then you can control sound using device remote you don’t need to use sound bar remote at all. But if you use TV itself and launch Prime Video or Netflix then TV remote useless and you need you use sound bar remote to control volume which is inconvenient. And again Amazon why? So, couple of weird things, but ultimately. Good sound! Especially for ~250 on sale. And again, support of Dolby & DTS. Which is not always the case.

It’s a very good product overall, just hope they integrate alexa into it, or just make it compatible with home theatre via a firmware update or something, for a more immersive experience, I have 2 echo speakers around my sofa and can’t use them with the soundbar at the same time to watch a movie or Netflix, it only supports MRM not home theatre. Otherwise, if you didn’t already invest in other speakers, this soundbar quality is so worth, easy to setup nothing complicated.

Bought a Fire TV and Sound Bar Plus. When it is working - excellent sound. However we using the HDMI cable to connect the tv and the sound bar, we lose the sound when initially Turning on the tv and when switching between inputs. It usually corrects itself by turning off and on the soundbar a few times. When this workaround does not work, we disconnect the HDMI cable, count to thirty, and reconnect. In frustration we connected an optical cable and it seems to have corrected the issue. Using the optical cable we lose some functionality with the soundbar. Understanding this is version one, we remain hopefully Amazon will correct this defect. Excellent TV and soundbar with this one issue. Please help to correct the issue Amazon.
