This sound bar is incredible. The sound is unreal . And the way it just takes over the fire tv is insane!!! And the price ! I had an expensive Sony sound bar before this and the sound wasn’t as good

The Amazon Fire TV Soundbar offers a decent audio upgrade for those looking to improve their TV's built-in sound without breaking the bank. Dolby Audio, along with the convenience of Fire TV integration. However, it's important to have realistic expectations given its price point. What's Good: Easy Setup: Connecting the soundbar is a breeze, especially if you already have a Fire TV device. The setup process is guided and intuitive. Fire TV Integration: This is a major selling point. Seamlessly controlling the soundbar with your Fire TV remote is incredibly convenient. No juggling multiple remotes! Improved Sound over TV Speakers: The soundbar definitely provides a noticeable improvement in clarity and depth compared to most television speakers. Dialogue is clearer, and the overall soundstage is wider. Compact Size: The soundbar's slim profile fits nicely under most TVs without being intrusive. Affordable Price: This is a budget-friendly option for those wanting better sound without a huge investment. Bluetooth Connectivity: The ability to stream music wirelessly from your phone or other Bluetooth devices is a welcome addition. What's Not So Good: Limited Bass: Being a 2.0 system, the bass response is somewhat lacking. While it adds some low-end presence, it won't satisfy those looking for deep, rumbling bass for action movies or music. Consider a subwoofer if bass is a priority. Virtual Surround Sound: While DTS Virtual:X and Dolby Audio are present, the simulated surround sound effect is subtle. Don't expect a truly immersive experience. It provides a slightly wider soundstage, but it's not a replacement for a dedicated surround sound system. Sound Quality Could Be Better: While better than TV speakers, the overall sound quality is adequate, not exceptional. The mid-range can sometimes sound a bit muddy. Limited Connectivity: The soundbar primarily focuses on Fire TV integration. While it has Bluetooth, it lacks other input options like HDMI ARC, which could limit its versatility. Overall: The Amazon Fire TV Soundbar is a good entry-level soundbar for those primarily focused on improving the audio from their Fire TV and who are on a budget. The seamless Fire TV integration and improved dialogue clarity are its strongest points. However, if you're a serious audiophile or crave powerful bass, you'll likely need to spend more for a higher-end system. This soundbar is best suited for casual viewers who want a simple and affordable upgrade to their TV's built-in speakers.

This soundboard is so much better than the last one I had. The sound is like a movie theater.

Despite the low price, this soundbar is well-designed and well-built. It is free of useless bells and whistles; sound quality is surprisingly good. Equalization and bass control allow adjustments which make spoken dialogue less muddy. Installation is seamless. I am a musician with decades of experience dealing with sound equipment; given its purpose, this Fire-TV soundbar does an excellent job.

So, I have a insignia fire tv so you would think an Amazon fire soundbar would work perfectly? It was particularly hard to set up, but the issue was that tv speakers wouldn't switch off so I would have an echoing, double effect of audio. The setting said they were off, but they were not. In fact, I couldn't even switch them off normally. Even with nothing connected, I switch them off and still get sound pushed through. I kept trying to fix it. What I had to do was: 1) Settings 2) HDMI-CEC control 3) Switch One Touch Play off 4) Turn off Soundbar 5) Set Volume to 0 6) Turn Soundbar back on That seem to let the soundbar function independently, get rid of the echoing, and get everything to work as described. The downside, the volume will only go up and down at 2 intervals despite what I set it to internally. And, there is no easy way to switch between the TV and sound bar for audio without screwing up the good result I got after working all day on it. Also, make sure you plug into your first HDMI port/Arc port. I had my gaming console set up and didn't realize my intital issue of no sound was the fact that I needed to swap the ports. Frankly, being an Amazon soundbar with and Amazon TV that specifically has a set up for it. I would say the functionality kind of sucks because it it should just work, like it says it should, by following the instructions without having to search up and down for way to keep both audios from playing. Like, the setting say the internal speakers were off despite being a lie and that setting effected nothing. It made it more difficult them it needed to get it to work somewhat normally. I would prefer to set it so volume interval is 1 but I guess to make this usable I am stuck at 2 everytime. And, I better hope that nothing changes and messes it up again in a update to the TV. The sound itself is a improvement, and there is a marked difference between regular and surround sound. It sort of like watching TV versus going to a theater. It terms of the way it fills the room and hits your ear. I can't say that the movie, music, dialogue settings seem to different to me. The size is okay. It just tall enough to not block my screen. The length is just about the size of my dresser. Depth is about 3.5 inches so as long as you have another room in front or to push back your TV, you will be fine. Overall, it is nice but I am not sure if I am total happy I bought it considering it was almost $90 for what I would categorize as works okay. I feel like for that price, and the fact I specifically bought Amazon for the fact I thought it would better with fire tv, that I am not blown away. Happy for now, but not impressed.

Pretty decent for size and price. I have it hooked up to my 75" Fire TV medium size living room.

This is an update to my initial review. The optical cable came and the soundbar is fantastic using Optical. So far this is horrible. Not working with hdm1 so I ordered a better cable. Getting no signal message. Connections not loose. Insignia fire tv not old. Tried with usb and no better. Optic cable arriving today and if that doesn’t work I give up.
