Perfect for couch coverage! Not as heavy (or as expensive!) as a previous item purchased that is almost like a velour. (Mambe throw also purchased on Amazon)If the previous item gets wet it is SO heavy! And the purpose is to be a couch protector for our dogs. So needs to be washable. Well a dog got sick on the couch. Took the item off and rinsed outside then washing machine then dryer. It held so much water that the weight (it was large enough for a big couch) that the dryer belt broke. Dryer was only a few years old. Seriously it was heavy when wet. Purchased THIS item for the same large couch. Washed it upon arrival for a comparison to the other cover. This one was much lighter out of washer and easy to dry. Like the two tone option as well. Super happy with this purchase. Serves the purpose, looks ok and easy to wash and dry even in the largest size.

So ot works but sparingly. Its kinda like it works until something puts pressure on it for more than 30 seconds. Its alsi note difficult than you wiuld think to remove the water peee whatever from the bed without it just rolling off into the floor off of the blanket. So you have ti scruntch it up and carry it like santas sack in a way in order to not make a mess. But your under sheets will be safe. I git this for many reasons and I will just say do not let anything sit in the liquid on the bed and do t let it chill there for too long. If your animals are left out all day and you got it fir that reason, they will probably step on it and it will probably go through.

This did protect my couch on several occasions. The posted Pic is disgusting but had to show it. It would have just run into cracks and crevices had I not made a "channel " and tucked it in in the right places. I wasn't sure at first about the blanket, so I put puppy pads underneath, but they didn't get wet. It must leave some residue because there is a scent left. But easy to throw in the wash. I also use kids and pets enzyme spray and let that soak before I wash it. I'm not sure if the waterproofing will eventually fade with multiple washings. I guess we will see. You might want to size up to get it to cover the back cushions too.

I grabbed this waterproof dog bed cover mostly to protect the couch from muddy paws and the occasional accident, but it’s ended up being one of my petsfavorite spots to curl up. It’s soft on both sides, and the reversible design lets me flip it over if one side gets too dirty before wash day. It stays in place better than I expected, even with my dog circling and nesting before lying down. And it really is waterproof. No leaks or soaking through when my older cat had an accident. I’ve even used it as a quick throw on the bed when I want to let the pets up without worrying.

I bought smaller ones previously to protect my couch and furniture from my cats throwing up hairballs. This cover has never had any liquid leaked through. It’s super easy to throw in the wash and comes out clean! When I first hear my cat vomiting, I can usually wipe it up before it had a chance to fully seep into the cover. It’s been a lifesaver for me and my 10 year old cat with tummy issues

Overall it works! I love the color and its soft texture. The dogs find it cozy and my black lab tested its water proof protection minutes after laying it on the bed the first time by drooling his water he just drank all over it. Definitely protected the bedding under it! My only negative, it runs small. I got the 82x82 and it just barely covers my king bed when flat but I’d like the pillows to be under it too.

This is a godsend. It's saved my ottoman more times than I can count. Not just for pets, it's perfect for a clumsy human too. The color perfectly matches the fabric of the couch and it's the exact right size for the footstool, I can't speak enough about how perfect this has ended up being for my household. Even the cats play underneath it! Highly recommend for anyone with a new puppy, kitten, even a toddler. It washed super well and absolutely hasn't stained with how long we've had it! I love it!
