Customer service immediately responded and corrected my concerns. For this reason I’m updating my review and adding that making right my concerns have made me a repeat customer. I bought this one and two other larger ones for my backyard garden. I’m not returning due to the large effort to take apart, package up and send back. Unlike the other two this one does not have a wooden bottom. I think that is why it’s not as stable. I’m hoping that once we get the dirt in it and squared back up it stays that way. The sides are divided in half instead of one longer piece and that could also affect its stability.

I ordered this raised bed to replace my existing Greenes Fence Brand. I like the taller boards and the dowels for stability. According to the description the bed is 8x4 just like the one I had - but after assembling I found that these boards are shorter than the boards in my existing bed. Greenes boards are 46.5 inches long and these boards are 43.75 inches long. So each board is 2.75 inches shorter which in turn made my actual garden area about 8.25 inches smaller.

The planter box was very easy to put together and is deeper than others that I looked at, which is great. The size of the overall box is exactly the size I was looking for.

I have had this filled with dirt for 6 weeks. It is falling apart. The joints that hold it were poorly made and many of the boards were glued together from scrap parts. The glue is releasing from the moisture and the boards are separating. There are several hundred pounds of soil and with the moisture it is falling apart. Terrible design and quality of workmanship.

These bins are wonderful. Lay out all your parts and material matching numbers before you start. Sprayed olive oil in some of the grooves helped them slide easier. I ordered two more as soon as I put my first order of. three together.

I really wanted to put in some raised beds in my backyard, but I'm not exactly a carpenter. This was the perfect option. Everything slides together, and the screws included for the post covers. Really the only thing that takes any effort is making sure it's all level before you fill it. I put a layer of plastic down on the ground before I added soil. It looks beautiful full of flowers. It comes unfinished, so you can stain or seal however you want. I liked it so much I ordered a second.

Although it's a nice, cute garden bed, it seems to be falsely advertised that you don't need hardware aside from what they supply for the caps. We had difficulty "sliding" the boards together, because it seemed like the boards weren't all beveled the same, making it difficult to slide the pieces together. After some time of carefully putting it together, it was beautiful! Now time to add soil. You'd think a garden bed would be able to support the weight of the soil, the expansion and contracting, the moisture... well, not with this one. Within days of adding soil, we noticed the frame shifted. Boards are pushing up, the back is pushing out, and the caps are now cocked - one even split and needed glued. Mind you, we leveled the ground we built this on. I'm not sure if it'll hold up for the entire season - I sure hope so for the money paid - but one would assume the boards would be thick and durable enough to hold up through at least one season, but that doesn't seem to be the case with this item. The boards were also shorter, causing this to not be a true 4 x 8, and it had me reevaluating my garden layout. For a starter with not a lot of soil it's good, but for a ton of dirt, you might want to see what else is out there. Will update with photos later.
