Prior to purchasing this Anker USB A TO Mini cable I ha purchased 3 other products on Amazon all claiming to work with my new IPhone 16 Pro to connect to Apple CarPlay in my Hyundai Santa Fe. None worked. I had spent hours on the phone with Apple support trying to connect. Finally I returned to Amazon and read the reviews on the Anker cable. It came the next day and to my amazement I connected it to both my car and phone and CarPlay was on. Don’t bother trying any other kind. I texted my granddaughter who was having the same problem. She got the Anker and immediately connected to her Honda.

I really hate this wire cause it’s so dang good. Why? Why is it so good at everything? It’s just not fair and I want it gone. But I can’t live without it. It’s like a narcissist cable that gaslights you every time you plug it into your phone but you just want more cause you are addicted to its stranglehold over your choices of what to choose, and you choose it over everything else because it’s what you need. Don’t even try to ghost it. It’ll just call you with its sweet siren love bombs and you’ll want to listen and then you will, again. And again.

NO MORE having to plug and re-plug in the cord in my car to have the GPS or music on. No more having to be careful that I don't tug the cord or move it so the whole Apple Car play will stop. This cord has reduced my cord fragility anxiety and does the job. I always loved Anker ever since Costco started carrying the brand and now I know why they do- Ankler is a trusted and quality brand and they do not cut corners. You get what you pay for! This cord is 10000% worth it!

I recently purchased the Anker Car CarPlay Cable for my iPhone 16 Pro Max, and it’s been working flawlessly. The braided design feels durable and resists tangling, which is a big plus for me. I appreciate that it’s made from upcycled materials—it’s nice to see companies taking sustainability seriously. The 3-foot length is perfect for my car setup, keeping things tidy without excess slack. CarPlay connects instantly every time I plug it in, and I haven’t experienced any dropouts or issues. Overall, a solid, eco-conscious choice for anyone needing a dependable CarPlay cable.

Click to play video I didn’t realize I could use CarPlay with a cable - I’d been experimenting with Bluetooth devices when I found out. Bluetooth options are all well and good, but they still take up your USB port, and you can’t charge your phone with them, at least as far as I’ve seen. A lot of them have cables, too. To charge your phone, you need an additional port, possibly through the use of an adapter for the cigarette lighter (which couldn’t be used for CarPlay). Bluetooth options also have the disadvantage of latency - e.g., pause or stop what you’re listening to, and be prepared to wait a few seconds for it to actually stop. This cable charges my phone while connecting it to CarPlay, and it has basically no latency (a split second, sometimes?). It’s a really good cable - obviously well-built, nice and floppy, with a rubber/silicone cable tie. Oddly, I’ve found that no matter what I use, the car often doesn’t transfer the display to CarPlay when I first start the car; it gives control to the device as far as audio is concerned, but not always video. Fortunately, this cable does update my car’s native display to include an icon for CarPlay, which fixes that right up; my first Bluetooth one had to unplugged and plugged back in. I really like my last Bluetooth CarPlay adapter, but I think I’ll still use this cable instead, mainly because latency drives me nuts. If you want a good, inexpensive alternative for CarPlay, I really recommend this one.

I just want to say thank you to everyone who did reviews letting us all know this works on Car Play. I have a 2019 Ford Explorer and my son and I both got new I phone 16’s. This cord works perfectly to make the Car Play work where others did not. I highly recommend this cord to make your Car Play work with the I phones. I love how the cord is made and I can tell it will last a long time!

This cable works with Apple Car Play! Was driving me literally insane with my new iPhone 16 Pro in my 2020 Toyota Corolla. It has to be “data transfer” or “apple car play” type of cable which this is. Highly recommend, a little costly but feels good and works perfectly. 3 feet is a little short, but perfect for driver/passenger seat without having a super long cable to get tangled. I would get longer if you need to stretch to back seats.

Tried several cables for CarPlay with my iPhone 16 pro …. they would work for a bit and then CarPlay would disconnect. Only became a problem when I got the iPhone16 pro - not a problem with my 14. This cable works like a charm … always hooks the phone up to CarPlay on my Tacoma and never drops - fabulous!

Best cable from Anker yet. The cord is so loose and flexible. I got a few for my tech pouch and are so easily coiled back up. Only wish they did a 10ft one.

Das Material, die natürliche Biegsamkeit, die Leistung, der Look - alles top! Die Mehrausgaben für ein langlebiges Ladekabel lohnen sich.

Anker is the go to brand. This is the only cord that will work with my carplay after upgrading my phone. Worth the investment to always buy Anker.
