I just want to say thank you to everyone who did reviews letting us all know this works on Car Play. I have a 2019 Ford Explorer and my son and I both got new I phone 16’s. This cord works perfectly to make the Car Play work where others did not. I highly recommend this cord to make your Car Play work with the I phones. I love how the cord is made and I can tell it will last a long time!

Click to play video I didn’t realize I could use CarPlay with a cable - I’d been experimenting with Bluetooth devices when I found out. Bluetooth options are all well and good, but they still take up your USB port, and you can’t charge your phone with them, at least as far as I’ve seen. A lot of them have cables, too. To charge your phone, you need an additional port, possibly through the use of an adapter for the cigarette lighter (which couldn’t be used for CarPlay). Bluetooth options also have the disadvantage of latency - e.g., pause or stop what you’re listening to, and be prepared to wait a few seconds for it to actually stop. This cable charges my phone while connecting it to CarPlay, and it has basically no latency (a split second, sometimes?). It’s a really good cable - obviously well-built, nice and floppy, with a rubber/silicone cable tie. Oddly, I’ve found that no matter what I use, the car often doesn’t transfer the display to CarPlay when I first start the car; it gives control to the device as far as audio is concerned, but not always video. Fortunately, this cable does update my car’s native display to include an icon for CarPlay, which fixes that right up; my first Bluetooth one had to unplugged and plugged back in. I really like my last Bluetooth CarPlay adapter, but I think I’ll still use this cable instead, mainly because latency drives me nuts. If you want a good, inexpensive alternative for CarPlay, I really recommend this one.

I have just about every cable to imaginable. So when it was time to connect my iPhone 16 to the USB in my Volkswagen I didn't expect any challenges. I had 3 USB-C to USB Cables handy. One did nothing. The other two charged the phone but didn't connect to CarPlay. So I got this higher-priced cable from Anker because is specifically said it would work with CarPlay, and I trust Anker. It worked perfectly as expected. It is also a really premium build with a great feel and lots of flexibility. Worth every penny

This cable works with Apple Car Play! Was driving me literally insane with my new iPhone 16 Pro in my 2020 Toyota Corolla. It has to be “data transfer” or “apple car play” type of cable which this is. Highly recommend, a little costly but feels good and works perfectly. 3 feet is a little short, but perfect for driver/passenger seat without having a super long cable to get tangled. I would get longer if you need to stretch to back seats.

HONESTLY HAVE NOT USED YET, BUT THE CABLE IS REINFORCED, AND NEED THIS TYPE OF CORD FOR CAR... HOWEVER, PURCHASED ANKER DOUBLE CHARGER, 45W, USB FOR HOME, AND MIXED REVIEWS, BUT SORRY, NOT CORRECT... SUPER CHARGER, FAST... PLUS, BEFORE I BUY ANYTHING OF THIS TYPE, AND ANKER IS THE BEST...

Versitile product- universal fit for most i-pads, value priced and good quality for paid price. Less then half the price for a similar cable made by a named famous maker of i-pads.

I bought a different no name cable for Apple car play in my 22 Colorado and apple car play would either start very slowly or not at all. Was thinking I may have to go to dealership which I try to avoid but figured I should try a name brand cable first. I’ve had good luck with everything anker I bought so I went with them and what do you know, works perfectly now and Apple car play fires right up. Don’t cheap out on a CarPlay cable.

Best cable from Anker yet. The cord is so loose and flexible. I got a few for my tech pouch and are so easily coiled back up. Only wish they did a 10ft one.

Anker is the go to brand. This is the only cord that will work with my carplay after upgrading my phone. Worth the investment to always buy Anker.

Unlike other cables this is quite supple and should survived the long haul. No more stiff cables in the winter should lead to reduced stress on failure points.

Das Material, die natürliche Biegsamkeit, die Leistung, der Look - alles top! Die Mehrausgaben für ein langlebiges Ladekabel lohnen sich.
