You really just can't beat the value for the price. There are much more expensive hubs that can't deliver this kind of quality. I work from home half the week, and this works perfectly with my Dell work laptop. It allows me to connect all of my peripherals (half of which are connected via a USB hub to switch between work laptop and home PC, this is no issue for this docking station), it provides great image quality on the monitors, and occupies little space. I only have 2 minor complaints: - Despite using the OEM charging cord connected to this docking station, my laptop says it's receiving less than optimal power. I'm not removing a star for this because I have the laptop plugged in all day, and I don't need it to be fast charging. I also believe it might have to do with how many power-sucking peripherals I have connected to the hub, so it may not be a problem for everyone. - I wish the hardwired USB-C cable were a tad longer. For my use case, it sits in a built-in storage compartment at the back of my desk, and the compact length of the cable results in the hub sort of dangling inside the compartment. Again, not removing a star because it doesn't affect the functionality and you can't even tell without opening the compartment, it's just a nitpick.

Just started a new job. New work laptop. New employer did not provide a docketing station like my last employer to WFH. Already had 2 monitors Needed a docket station to connect to my new work laptop. Did not want to spend a whole lot as I was only going to be WFH for 2 days a week. Ordered a more expensive docket station that did not work. Monitors never connected to my laptop via that docket station when I hooked everything up the night before my WFH day. Needed a new one in a pinch otherwise I was going to have to go into the office. Ordered this one as it was overnight delivery to be delivered between 4-8am. Hooked everything up at 6am in the morning and everything worked, my monitors were connected to my laptop. Couple of things to note. This docket station does not come with a usb cable to connect to a power source, you need to provide that. This did not charge my work laptop when I was using it. I brought my work laptop charger home and was able to hook it up to charge while I was working. I just wish the USB-C cable that connects the docket to the laptop was a little longer as it does get a little warm, it did not overheat at the end of my workday, I am hoping it does not overheat. I may get another docket station in the future if it comes up for sale but for now, this works for my needs

The product does what it's designed for. It's able to output to 2 monitors simultaneously, read and control USB devices, read SD and micro-SD storage simultaneously, and allowing ethernet connectivity. It works great for my S24+, S24 Ultra and iPad 10 generation. Also works just fine with laptops, S20+, and S21+. Can't go wrong with Anker products. I gave it 4 stars because I have the same model that was purchased a while back which feels more durable/heavier than this one and included a protective pouch.

* UPDATE * Anker contacted me with resolution options to replace or refund. I have to say, I'd definitely recommend Anker products even though this particular one didn't work out for me when I purchased it. We have many Anker products in our household and will continue choose Anker over other brands. I'm boosting my rating from 3 to 5 stars based on the outstanding customer service to ensure I was satisfied. I bought this because my work issued Dell has no ethernet jack and only one USB. Not very helpful when I have a wireless usb mouse, usb keyboard, and usb headset to use. Unfortunately the USBC does not power my 10 key. The USB headset doesn't not perform well with this either. The only one that worked well was the mouse. The ethernet has been hit or miss. The most concerning is how hot it runs. Since I need it intermittently I've missed the return window.

This item works perfectly on linux and also with linux mint cinnamon. Both HDMI and all USB cable work seamlessly. The screen load (initial) might have been extended by a second but given that it is getting routed through an adapter I guess that is ok.

Update: Anker offered a replacement or refund for the product. I've had many Anker products and this is the first to experience issues like this. Will likely replace it with the same or similar docking station from Anker. It worked really well initially. Generally running 2 monitors off of my laptop for work. It recently started flickering one of the monitor screens every 10 or 20 minutes which wasn't a huge deal. It now has issues supporting 2 screens and has really weird behavior that sometimes requires troubleshooting to get it going again. Expected it to work longer than it has

This is my replacement hub for the Lention that stopped working after 18 months. I had rated that product 5 Star and it was truly great product till one day it decided not to deliver power from the PD port to laptop. Without power supply passing through, it was useless and I scrapped it. Then started my search for a new hub - the biggest challenge though how to identify one that combines good build quality and functionality with longevity. So, I decided to go with known non-chinese brands and Anker came top on the list. So far, the hub is working like a charm, just like Lention. I am hoping that this will last for at least 3 years to justify the price premium. One small gripe is that the USC C cable attached to the hub is too short (15 Cms, I guess). I keep my laptop in a vertical position with lid closed on a stand and work on the monitor. The USB C port on my laptop is on the upper end of the laptop and when I connect the hub, the hub keeps dangling awkwardly. Had to go with 0.5 M extension cable! I will update this review if this fails in less than 3 years!
