I am a rare duck in the tech space as I really don't have a preference between Android and iOS. I have traditionally carried an Android phone and used Apple tablets and laptops. I just honestly find Samsung's innovation in hardware more intriguing. That said, I recently bought a new iPhone 15 Pro for a second phone to leave in my house and saw these new Airpods on sale, so I scooped them. The move to USBC convinced me I need to try both. I have used darn near every credible earbud that has come to market in the last four years. Sony, Bose, B&W, Anker, Apple, Beats, Sennheiser, and many others. I have been chasing the perfect set. I think I found them here or, at the very least, found the closest thing there is to perfection. Here are my thoughts on the new Airpods Pro2: Sound: This is the one area that they don't win hands down, but they sound great. Many of my buds feature larger more well tuned drivers. Some even have dual drivers. Many have the option to upscale to more lossless sound by using AptX. None of that is here, but what Apple has done with sound is commendable. There is good separation between the highs, mids, and lows. Unlike previous Airpods, these things bring a very solid low end that can rumble a bit. I am not an audiophile, but these sound really good. I still think that the new Sony buds and Sennheiser buds are better but it isn't a landslide. Apple has nailed it with active noise cancelling here as well. While the Bose Quiet Comfort buds are still the GOAT for me, these are at least as good as the runner up from Sony. These block out all but the most sudden noises. Really good all around. Call quality: These are easily the best there is for calls. It really isn't close. They do an unbelievable job of masking background noise so folks on the other end can hear you. I was on a call with a friend who was using them as well and his son was in the background gaming. He was yelling at the game and, occasionally when he spoke, I could pick up on it a bit, but only when he spoke. The processing here is just so good. Form Factor: I hate stem style buds generally, but these are solid. They are light and have real balance in the ear. I think because the Pro's have silicone tips they just work better for me. The squeeze functionality makes these so accurate to use when compared to others that rely on tapping and the swipe volume control is really outstanding. For my ears, and this is subjective for sure, these are all day comfortable. You get a solid IP54 water and dust resistance, so these will hold up well in the gym. Battery Life: These are average in this space when compared with their peers. I am getting about five hours on bud. You get another three to four charges from the case. Many others are better here, but I find battery life to be perfectly acceptable for everyday use. Intangibles: There are almost too many things to mention here. First, the case is, as always, the best in the business. It is tiny, solid, packs a great battery, and has the most satisfying magnetic click when closing. I love the spatial audio. It is gimmicky but really fun when it is executed properly during a show or movie. The speech detection is amazing. As is the easy pairing and use on the iPhone. Find my buds is the BOMB. There is so much more that I will update later. These are very well thought out. Conclusion: For me, Apple has crushed it here. Having FINALLY moved to USBC (even if it took the EU to force them) makes all Apple things so much better. These buds might not be the best at much, but they are very good at everything. I can honestly say that these are the best buds on the market. Will I use others for different occasions? Yes, but I doubt that as long as I have an iPhone, I will use many of them often. Buy these now with complete and total confidence. Wow Apple, just wow! Well done! ***Update*** So, I am three weeks in with these and I have a couple of other thoughts I should add. First, the thing that jumps off the page to me is the speaker built into the case. I have owned dozens of buds and this is a first to me. It is awesome. The case chimes when the buds are properly returned to the case. You get a low battery notification and it is also used to “find my AirPods.” It is simply brilliant and an example of how thoughtful some of Apple’s designs are. The case is simply next level and that means more than most people think since you interact with it regularly. The other thing that stands out is how much customization there is and how intuitive it is to set up in your settings. Sony offers similar customization and, in some ways more, but it takes a lot more work. Like I said, there are better options for a lot of things, but the polish and attention to detail here from Apple make these a clear winner overall. If you are on the fence, don’t be. I will update with anything else but these are easily the best all around buds on the market. Buy with confidence

This is my 3rd pair of AirPods Pro. I bought the 2nd pair because of the improved noise cancellation in the 2nd generation. I never thought it would be worth upgrading to the latest USB-C version (The previous versions of AirPods Pro had a Lightning port instead of USB-C) since the sound quality was the same. But then I purchased the new Apple Vision Pro VR headset. After doing some research, I found out that only the latest USB-C AirPods Pro supports lossless audio with the Vision Pro. According to Apple, the H2 chip in the previous version of the AirPods Pro is limited to the 2.4GHz band, but the H2 chip in the latest version supports the 5GHz band of wireless frequencies. So why don’t they call it an H3 chip if it’s different? I’m not sure, but all I know is that Apple figured out a way to get even more money from me. It’s fine, since I’ll give my other 2 pairs of AirPods Pro to my children. Other than the USB-C port on the charging case and the lossless audio support with the Vision Pro, I can’t tell any difference between the sound quality between these and my previous pair. These are still the best wireless earphones I have ever used, so I don’t have any complaints. The noise cancellation is amazing. I’m not really sure what Apple could do to make these better, unless they can figure out a way to increase the battery life without making them larger. The AirPods Pro go on sale frequently, so if you’re an Apple fan and you don’t already own a pair of these (Whether or not you own a Vision Pro), I recommend grabbing them the next time they are on sale.

I recently purchased these Bluetooth headphones, and I am thoroughly impressed! From the moment I unboxed them, the quality was evident. The design is sleek and comfortable, with soft ear pads that fit snugly without causing any discomfort, even during long listening sessions. The sound quality is fantastic! The bass is deep and rich, and the treble is crisp and clear. Whether I’m listening to music, podcasts, or taking calls, the audio is always sharp and immersive. The noise cancellation feature works surprisingly well, blocking out background noise and allowing me to enjoy my audio without distractions. Connectivity is seamless—pairing with my phone and laptop was quick and hassle-free. The Bluetooth range is also impressive. I can move around my house without dropping the connection, which is a huge plus for me since I tend to move around while working. The battery life is exceptional as well. I’ve used them for several hours on a single charge, and they still had plenty of juice left. The headphones also charge quickly, so I never have to wait long for them to be ready to go again.

Admittedly, I'm a late adopter of Airpods. I always thought they looked insanely goofy hanging off people's ears. I also remember a love earbuds back in the day just not sitting in my ear right so they would fall out. These new Airpod Pro 2's are simply AMAZING. After my dog chewed my Bose Sound Sport earbuds (or something similar), I was forced to search for something else. I wanted wireless this time. I researched everything from Shure, Apple, Bose, etc. After seeing these Airpod Pro 2 on sale on Amazon, I figured why the heck not. After all, I read that if you're on iOS user, it's kind of a no-brainer to go with Airpods. The sound quality is amazing. Everything from EDM, Rock, Alternative, Hip Hop, and the like, sounds well balanced and just enough bass that it's not woofy. The sound clarity for voices on videos (say on Youtube) is crystal clear too. Spatial Audio really is spectacular ... You can turn your head while watching something and the sound/voice stays in front of you as if the person was talking right there. Really an amazing experience if you've never experienced it. They are INSANELY comfortable. I kept the medium pads on (ones that come equipped on the factory) and they fit like a glove. The comfort may be their only downside - I don't even feel them in my ear so if one fell out I may never know lol. All of the features are very useful too. When these first arrived, I wore them and played music to test them out for about 90mins around the house. I had "Transparency" mode on and could still hear my kids or wife speaking to me but never interrupting the music in the background. Really thoughtful technology here! The Active Noise Cancellation is quite good too for being small earbuds. They will never be as good as full over-ear headphones for ANC, but they are more than an adequate. If you're an iOS user, there's really no point looking at anything else. These connect so effortlessly to iOS devices it's laughable.

I purchased the Apple AirPods Pro 2nd Gen about a year ago, and they have truly been a game-changer! The sound quality is outstanding – rich bass, clear mids, and crisp highs that make music and podcasts a pleasure to listen to. The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is incredibly effective, blocking out background noise, which is perfect for use during travel or in noisy environments. The comfort is also excellent. The AirPods come with different sizes of ear tips, ensuring a snug and secure fit. They stay in place, even during workouts. The spatial audio feature is a fantastic addition, providing an immersive listening experience. One of the standout features is the battery life. With up to 6 hours of listening time on a single charge and the case offering additional charges, they’re perfect for long listening sessions without worrying about running out of power. Additionally, the new H2 chip delivers a more seamless connection and better sound processing, making them even more responsive. The transparency mode works well for when you need to hear your surroundings, and the touch controls for volume and playback are intuitive. The only downside is the price, but given the overall quality, it's definitely worth the investment for those who want premium sound and features. Overall, I highly recommend the Apple AirPods Pro 2nd Gen for anyone looking for top-tier wireless earbuds!

Plus, the transparency mode is perfect when I need to be aware of my surroundings. Overall, these are worth every penny!
